Abstract:This paper summarizes academic research activities for the 2011 Annual Conference of Chinese Enterprise Management Research Association.Rooted in the long development history and formal subject position of Chinese management,this academic symposium was themed by "Chinese management thought and practice".Participating scholars fully shared their academic points of view about five topics including the construction of Chinese management system,the development venation of Chinese management thought,Chinese management culture,the technology and practice innovation for Chinese management,the industrial and institutional environment of Chinese management,and the analysis tools and information technology for Chinese management.The important academic perspectives formed by this seminar includes: ①the present is the best time and opportunity to form Chinese school of management.②the evolution of Chinese ancient thought can be divided into five stages: incubation period(from ancient times to the old stone age),budding period(from the Xia Dynasty to the Western Zhou period),formation period(from Spring and Autumn and the Warring States period),development period(from Qin and Han Dynasty to Sui and Tang Dynasty),following period(during Song Yuan Ming and Qing Dynasty).③Chinese management system of thought can be divided into 5 kinds of type: oriental management culture with the characteristics such as People-oriented,putting moral values in the first place,being human for human;the main theory of Confucianism emphasizing humanistic and holistic view,integral view,union view and the right view;basic category theory including heavy word,bright virtue,know when to stop,law enforcement;guiding principles on respect for law,attention to people,harmony,trustworthy,sharp weapon,truth-seeking,strategies,thrifty and rule by law;gaming theories emphasizing political views,law and rules,morality,method and experience.④the evolution of new Chinese management development should be divided into two stages: from 1949 to 1978,and 1979-up,we should put attention on the researches such as "management in china","management theories with Chinese characteristics".⑤There are important theoretical significance and actual demand to search for the mechanism of value creation for CAFTA enterprise network under the constraint of "south-south competition",that the "synergistic value" between network firms and customers,the "co-opetiton relationship" among China-ASEAN national enterprises,the combination of "location resource" inside the space of CAFTA,and the "political governance" of CAFTA national governments,are "four carriages" to drive and determine the value creation of CAFTA enterprise network.⑥Industrialization,commercialization,informatization and internationalization are the main background characteristics for Chinese management development.Chinese management development needs to loop through four stages: the discovery stage of management knowledge,the formation stage of management knowledge,the dissemination stage of management knowledge,and the application stage of management knowledge.In order to promote the development of Chinese management science,we need to correctly deal with four big relations between standardization and innovation,between science and art,between internationalization and localization,between theory and practice.⑦Chinese characteristic management and Western school of management are all the stage product in the course of management development.This academic symposium has the promoting significance to answer the questions such as "what is essential feature for Chinese management thought and practice","is it necessary to construct the unique Chinese theoretical system of management science".The success of this academic symposium is also of great significance to promote the development of Guangxi management science.
