On Mode of Social Management in China and Selection of Path

Abstract:The basic target of social management is to construct a social structure morphology whose basic subject is social organization, and is characterized by residents' self-governance. As a later process relative to the western civil society, China is faced with lack of traditional resources and various troubles of the modern society. However, chances are that China can surpass the western countries by taking advantage of the western experience. By implementing transformation of notion from management of society to social management, Chinese social management and social development need to find their own development logic in two aspects, i.e., economic, political and social structure, and basis of morality and value, and plan the development path in accordance with requirement of the logic so as to construct value community that go beyond the level of interest community, pushing forward construction of great-leap-forward development of Chinese society.
