Abstract:The casting simulate software are popular in the casting industry as a effective tooling of technology design and optimization. Aimed at the shrinkage in the arm bracket steel castings the simulation software Procast was used to simulate the solidification process, then the casting technology was optimized. The castings after optimizing passed the X-Ray test and dissection inspection.
