Abstract:The title compound, C9H12BrNO4S center dot H2O, was prepared by a reduced condensation reaction of 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde and 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid. In the crystal structure, a two-dimensional network is formed via intermolecular N-(HO)-O-... and O-(HO)-O-... hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(18)H(21)NO(2), the two benzene rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 58.19 (3)°. Intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of one six- and one five-membered ring, which adopt twist and envelope conformations, respectively. Abstract:The title compound, C16H12N2S4, was synthesized by reaction of 1,2-dibromoethane with the sodium salt of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole. The molecule has an approximate inversion centre, with two benzothiazole fragments having an antiparallel orientation, their least-squares planes forming a dihedral angle of 4.12 (12)°. The central four-atom S—C—C—S link is almost planar, its plane being approximately orthogonal to the benzothiazole planes [dihedral angles 84.98 (14) and 84.13 (15)°]. Intermolecular S⋯S interactions [3.657 (3) A] link the molecules in the crystal structure into infinite chains stretching along the [10\overline 1] direction.

Abstract:Co-crystallization of 4,4′-methylenediphenylamine (MDA) and 5-sulfosalicylic acid (5-H2SSA) yields the title salt, C13H16N2 2+·2C7H5O6S−·H2O. The asymmetric unit is comprised of one dication, two anions and one water molecule. In the crystal structure, the components of the salt are linked by a combination of intermolecular O—H⋯O, N—H⋯O and weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional framework. In addition, two weak π–π interactions [with centroid–centroid distances of 3.8734 (15) and 3.7465 (15) Å] and one C—H⋯π interaction further stabilize the crystal structure.
