Abstract:The two thiosemicarbazone moieties of the title compound, C18H20N6O2S2. 2C(2)H(6)OS, are positioned in a trans fashion. The molecule lies on a crystallographic twofold axis. Both O and S atoms of the dimethyl sulfoxide are disordered.

Abstract:The title compound, C6H7O2S3 (+) . BF4-, consists of a planar 2-thioxo- 1,3-dithiol-4,5-yl unit [ maximum deviation from the ring plane = 0.020 (3) angstrom], with an ethylenedioxy group fused at the 4,5-positions; the ethylenedioxy C atoms are disordered over two positions with site-occupancy factors of 0.5. The 1,4dioxine ring has a twist-chair conformation. Weak cationanion S ... F interactions [3.022 (4)- 3.095 (4) angstrom] and an S ...O [3.247 (4) angstrom] interaction are present.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

The planar dithiocarbazate moiety subtends an angle of 10.54 ( 8)degrees with respect to the plane of the nitrophenyl ring. Electron delocalization occurs between the imino and dithiocarboxyl groups. The partially overlapped arrangement of parallel benzene rings of neighboring molecules, with a face-to-face distance of 3.343 ( 8) angstrom, suggests the existence of pi-pi stacking.

Abstract:The title compound, C9H11N3OS, was prepared by the reaction of 3-methoxybenzaldehyde and thiosemicarbazide. The benzylidene ring and the thiosemicarbazone fragment are slightly twisted, making a dihedral angle of 14.1 (1)degrees. A weak intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond may influence the conformation of the molecule. Intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot S hydrogen bonds build up a three-dimensional network.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(8)H(5)NOS(2), the non-H atoms are approximately coplanar [maxium deviation = 0.060 (3) Å]. The dihedral angle between the least-squares planes of the pyridine and 1,3-dithiol-2-one rings is 5.96 (17)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and by an S⋯S close contact [3.510 (5) Å].

Abstract:In the title compound, C(16)H(12)N(2)S(4), which is the result of the S-alkylation reaction of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole with ethylene dibromide, the planes of the two benzothiazole moieties form a dihedral angle of 3.84 (14) degrees. The bridging chain moiety, -SCH(2)CH(2)S-, adopts an antiperiplanar conformation. There are intermolecular S.S non-bonded contacts of 3.6471 (9) A, which stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:The title compound, C16H12N2S4, was synthesized by reaction of 1,2-dibromoethane with the sodium salt of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole. The molecule has an approximate inversion centre, with two benzothiazole fragments having an antiparallel orientation, their least-squares planes forming a dihedral angle of 4.12 (12)°. The central four-atom S—C—C—S link is almost planar, its plane being approximately orthogonal to the benzothiazole planes [dihedral angles 84.98 (14) and 84.13 (15)°]. Intermolecular S⋯S interactions [3.657 (3) A] link the molecules in the crystal structure into infinite chains stretching along the [10\overline 1] direction.

Abstract:The title compound, C24H32O8S center dot C3H6O, features three six-membered and two five-membered rings. The six-membered rings adopt chair, boat and slightly distorted boat conformations whereas one five-membered ring adopts an approximate envelope conformation and the other a twist conformation. Disorder was modelled for the ethylthio group with the ethyl-C atoms resolved over three positions with occupancies of 0.58 (4), 0.23 (4) and 0.19 (3). In the crystal, an O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond links the molecules into chains.
