Abstract:The researches have thrived since 2000 and many books and articles of excellent quality have been published during the first decade of 21 century.The system and the basic conception of publishing history have been improved largely.Chinese professional circle has issued many good books with great importance,such as the books about general publishing history,dynastic publishing history and publishing chorography;the modern publishing history has been a hotspot of researching;scholars work over the study of the publishing history deeply and try to use theories and methodologies of other subjects;many articles and monographs have been done around the culture history of publishing;the western reading history brings some new ideas to Chinese scholars,and a lot of researches have been made about developments in the foreign countries;the publishing history of People's Republic of China has been achieving much attention from 2008.In the future,a new perspective from the world civilization history will help people have a better understanding of the Chinese publishing history.

The main focus of this bibliography is major works published internationally as well as in core journals from the People's Republic of China (PRC). Despite the problems concerning the representativeness of this current bibliography, the authors hope that the following list of references will usefully complement the research articles in this special issue on ‘English in contemporary China’. It is intended that the present bibliography will complement the earlier bibliographical article by Adamson et al. (), and serve as a guide for current and future research in this field.

Abstract:This paper begined with the citation indexing formats of English academic literatures provided by library and information science abstracts,so citation formats like Harvard System,British Standard System,APA Style,MLA Style,Chicago Style and so on were all introduced.Then some surveys were carried out to clarify the practical use of these citation formats in academic periodicals.According to the results,this paper stated the reasons why they can maintain blooming together.At last,some sponsors for citation indexing formats of academic periodicals in China were put forward.

Abstract:Bibliographic management tools have been widely used by researchers to store, organize, and manage their references for research papers, theses, dissertations, journal articles, and other publications. There are a number of reference management tools available. In order for users to decide which tool is best for their needs, it is important to know each tool's strengths and weaknesses. This article compares four reference management tools, one of which is licensed by University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey libraries and the other three are open source and freely available. They were chosen based on their functionality, ease of use, availability to library users, and popularity. These four tools are EndNote/EndNote Web, Zotero, Connotea, and Mendeley Desktop/Mendeley Web. Each tool is analyzed in terms of the following features: accessing, collecting, organizing, collaborating, and citing/formatting. A comparison table is included to summarize the key features of these tools.

Abstract:Zhejiang Library, from its founding in 1900, has been in the compilation of the bibliography of its collection of books, during which there has not been void of expansion and perfection. Thus the fruitful tradition in the collection of books in our country is being passed on. In 1977 Zhejiang Library participated in the edition of the general index for The ancient rare edition of the whole nation and engaged in investigating the bibliography of the ancient rare edition in Zhejiang province. After 20 years of hard work the profou nd project was finished. This book not only took in the lesson in The Chinese bibliography of the ancient rare edition but also characterized itself with the special features- being realistic and creative. At the same time it had new resear ches and gained in some aspects such as the standard of the ancient rare edition s, the style of the recording, the scope of the ingathering, how to reflect the characteristics of local literature in Zhejiang. In a word, the book is a new pr ogeny for the bibliography of the ancient works.
