Abstract:Let k be a positive integer and p be a prime.We give some congruences involving the binomial coefficients((k+1)p-a)p-a),(kp-1p-a) with 1 ≤ a ≤ p-1 and （kp+p-1/2b±p-1/2±b),(kp-1p-1/2±b) with 0 ≤ b ≤ p-1/2.In particular,we get a generalization of Morley's congruence.Meanwhile,some congruences about the summation of ((k+1)p-ap-a) are obtained.

Abstract:In this work, we use probability groups, introduced by Harrison in 1979, as a tool to study a semisimple Hopf algebra H with a commutative character ring and prove that the algebra generalized by the dual probability group is the center Z(H) of H and the product of two class sums is an integral combination up to a factor of dim(H)(-1) of the class sums of H. We classify all the 2-integral probability groups with two or three elements.

Abstract:The binomial, the negative binomial, the Poisson, the compound Poisson and the Erlang distribution do all admit integral representations with respect to its (continuous) parameter. We use the Margulis-Russo type formulas for Bernoulli and Poisson processes to derive these representations in a unified way and to provide a probabilistic interpretation for the derivatives. By similar variational methods, we obtain apparently new integro-differential identities which the density of a strictly $\alpha$-stable multivariate density satisfies. Then, we extend Crofton's derivative formula known in integral geometry to the case of a Poisson process. Finally we use this extension to give a new probabilistic proof of a version of this formula for binomial point processes.

Mathematical and Computer Modelling of Dynamical Systems

Abstract:Assume that is Y a random variable whose moment generating function exists in a neighbourhood of the origin. The aim of this paper is to study probabilistic poly-Bernoulli numbers associated with Y, as probabilistic extensions of poly-Bernoulli numbers. We derive explicit expressions, some related identities and a symmetric relation for those numbers. We also investigate explicit expressions for the modified probabilisitc Bernoulli numbers associated with Y , which are slightly different from probabilisitic Bernoulli numbers associated with Y . As special cases of Y , we treat the Poisson, gamma and Bernoulli random variables.

Abstract:Zhao established the following harmonic congruence for prime p > 3:Sigma(i,j,k>0i+j+k=p) 1/ijk equivalent to -2B(p-3) (mod p).In this note, the authors improve it to the following congruence for prime p > 5:Sigma(i,j,k>0i+j+k=p) 1/ijk equivalent to 12B(p-3)/p-3 - 3B(2p-4)/p-2 (mod p(2)).Meanwhile, they also improve a generalization of Zhao's congruence and extend Eisenstein's congruence.

Abstract:Abstract We prove several different anti-concentration inequalities for functions of independent Bernoulli-distributed random variables. First, motivated by a conjecture of Alon, Hefetz, Krivelevich and Tyomkyn, we prove some “Poisson-type” anti-concentration theorems that give bounds of the form 1/ e + o (1) for the point probabilities of certain polynomials. Second, we prove an anti-concentration inequality for polynomials with nonnegative coefficients which extends the classical Erdős–Littlewood–Offord theorem and improves a theorem of Meka, Nguyen and Vu for polynomials of this type. As an application, we prove some new anti-concentration bounds for subgraph counts in random graphs.

Abstract:This note gives some applications of the zeta distribution to number theory. First, a number of probabilistic proofs of the equality between the Riemann zeta functions and some number-theoretic functions are provided. Second, some problems of probability with respect to positive integers considered in the literature are discussed in the zeta distribution case. In contrast to usual heuristic arguments of probabilistic approach in number theory where the uniform distribution is assumed on positive integers, the proofs here are rigorous by utilizing the zeta distributions on positive integers.

Abstract:Combinatorics is a powerful tool for dealing with relations among objectives mushroomed in the past century. However, an more important work for mathematician is to apply combinatorics to other mathematics and other sciences not merely to find combinatorial behavior for objectives. Recently, such research works appeared on journals for mathematics and theoretical physics on cosmos. The main purpose of this paper is to survey these thinking and ideas for mathematics and cosmological physics, such as those of multi-spaces, map geometries and combinatorial cosmoses, also the combinatorial conjecture for mathematics proposed by myself in 2005. Some open problems are included for the 21th mathematics by a combinatorial speculation.

Abstract:In this paper, we apply the combinatorial results on counting permutations with fixed pinnacle and vale sets to evaluate the special values of the spectral zeta functions of Sturm-Liouville differential operators. As applications, we get a combinatorial formula for the special values of spectral zeta functions and give a new explicit formula for Bernoulli numbers.

Abstract:Making use of a telescoping approach, three types of sums of binomial quotients are examined. The summation terms of the two types of alternating sums have symmetry (i.e., their numerators and denominators are completely symmetric). We obtained a series of their explicit sums. Furthermore, by means of binomial relations, three recurrence relations of the sums are derived. In addition, series of double summation formulae involving binomial quotients are established.

Abstract:We present a new proof rule for verifying lower bounds on quantities of probabilistic programs. Our proof rule is not confined to almost-surely terminating programs - as is the case for existing rules - and can be used to establish non-trivial lower bounds on, e.g., termination probabilities and expected values, for possibly divergent probabilistic loops, e.g., the well-known three-dimensional random walk on a lattice.

Abstract:Classical test theory is firstly introduced,the mathematic model and the common calculation methods of Exam-paper Formation are analyzed,and an optimized random calculation method based on binomial distribution principle is put forword.In the composition of examination paper,difficulty coefficient as the main control index can solve the difficulty of paper control problem,and make the test average difficulty coefficient is close to normal distribution.The conclusion is test scores for the normal distribution,reliability was 83.22 through the simulation experiment.Test validity is high with expectations.

Abstract:For $x\ge0$ let $\pi(x)$ be the number of primes not exceeding $x$. The asymptotic behaviors of the prime-counting function $\pi(x)$ and the $n$-th prime $p_n$ have been studied intensively in analytic number theory. Surprisingly, we find that $\pi(x)$ and $p_n$ have many combinatorial properties which should not be ignored. In this paper we pose 60 open problems on combinatorial properties of primes (including connections between primes and partition functions) for further research. For example, we conjecture that for any integer $n>1$ one of the $n$ numbers $\pi(n),\pi(2n),...,\pi(n^2)$ is prime; we also conjecture that for any integer $n>6$ there exists a prime $p

Abstract:We prove asymptotic results for the singular series associated to the distribution of three primes. Assuming a quantitative version of Hardy and Littlewood's conjecture on prime 3-tuples, we deduce an asymptotic formula related to the joint distribution of three primes. This improves recent results of Kuperberg and completes results by Montgomery and Soundararajan. Following the Montgomery and Soundararajan approach, we derive conjectural applications to the distribution of primes in short intervals.
