Abstract:This paper presents a condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) for the quadratic stability of discrete-time interval 2-D systems. With Matlab, it is very convenient to solve this problem. Necessity shows that the condition is less conservative in some cases. The illustrative example shows that this method is effective to check the quadratic stability of discrete-time interval 2-D systems.

Abstract:Firstly ,the new Euler‐Lagrange type cubic functional equation f (x+ y -2z)+f(y+ z -2x)+ f(z+ x -2y)+ 6f (x+ y+ z)= 9[f (x+ y)+ f (y+ z)+ f (z + x)] -18[f(x)+ f(y)+ f(z)] in Banach spaces was investigated .Secondly ,equivalence of six functional equations was discussed . Lastly , by using the fixed pointed alternative , the general solution to the above functional equation was given and the stability of cubic functional equation was proved .

Abstract:By adopting the direct method and fixed point method, we prove that the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following additive-quadratic functional equation \begin{equation} f(x+y, z+w)+f(x-y, z-w)-2 f(x, z)-2 f(x, w)=0 \end{equation} in $\beta$-homogeneous $F$-spaces and quasi-Banach spaces. There are some differences that we consider the target space with the $\beta$-homogeneous norm and quasi-norm. Overcoming the $\beta$-homogeneous norm and quasi-norm bottlenecks, we get some new results.

Abstract:We study critical orbits and bifurcations within the moduli space M-2 of quadratic rational maps, f : P-1 -> P-1. We focus on the family of curves, Per(1)(lambda) subset of M-2 for lambda is an element of C, defined by the condition that each f is an element of Per(1)(lambda) has a fixed point of multiplier lambda. We prove that the curve Per(1)(lambda) contains infinitely many postcritically finite maps if and only if lambda = 0, addressing a special case of Baker and DeMarco ('Special curves and postcritically finite polynomials', Forum of Math. Pi 1 (2013), doi: 10.1017/fmp.2013.2; Conjecture 1.4). We also show that the two critical points of f define distinct bifurcation measures along Per(1)(lambda).

Abstract:This paper addresses the study of novel constructions of variational analysis and generalized differentiation that are appropriate for characterizing robust stability properties of constrained set-valued mappings/multifunctions between Banach spaces important in optimization theory and its applications. Our tools of generalized differentiation revolves around the newly introduced concept of $\varepsilon$-regular normal cone to sets and associated coderivative notions for set-valued mappings. Based on these constructions, we establish several characterizations of the central stability notion known as the relative Lipschitz-like property of set-valued mappings in infinite dimensions. Applying a new version of the constrained extremal principle of variational analysis, we develop comprehensive sum and chain rules for our major constructions of conic contingent coderivatives for multifunctions between appropriate classes of Banach spaces.

Abstract:We consider the optimal set mapping S(x) associated with a parametric convex quadratic programming problem depending on a parameter vector x. In this paper, we give a definition of directionally linear stability for parametric mathematical programming problems, and prove that a class of linear constrained parametric convex quadratic programming is linear stable by means of the differentiable theory, in the sense of Tyurin (1965) and Banks & Jacobs (1970), of set-valued mappings.

Abstract:We introduce a new class of triangulated categories, which are Verdier quotients of three-Calabi-Yau categories from (decorated) marked surfaces, and show that its spaces of stability conditions can be identified with moduli spaces of framed quadratic differentials on Riemann surfaces with arbitrary order zeros and arbitrary higher order poles. A main tool in our proof is a comparison of two exchange graphs, obtained by tilting hearts in the quotient categories and by flipping mixed angulations associated with the quadratic differentials.

Abstract:Let $F$ be a non-degenerate integral ternary quadratic form and let $m_0\in\mathbb{Z}_{\neq 0}$. We study growth of rational points on the affine quadric $(F=m_0)$ and show that they are equidistributed in the adelic space off a finite place. This is closely related to Linnik's problem. Our approach is based on the $\delta$-variant of the Hardy--Littlewood circle method developed by Heath-Brown.

Abstract:We study geometrically finite one-dimensional mappings. These are a subspace of $C^{1+\alpha}$ one-dimensional mappings with finitely many, critically finite critical points. We study some geometric properties of a mapping in this subspace. We prove that this subspace is closed under quasisymmetrical conjugacy. We also prove that if two mappings in this subspace are topologically conjugate, they are then quasisymmetrically conjugate. We show some examples of geometrically finite one-dimensional mappings.
