Abstract:In reviewing the development and present status of the pre-stressed steel wire wound hydraulic presses,a basic mechanical model of the hydraulic press is abstracted.Three types of connection structure are presented,namely,metallurgical bonding structure,key joining structure and bumpy ridge joining structure,A rounded comparative analysis is carried out from the aspects of the structural joining forms,mechanical and application characteristics,etc.The examples of ten-thousand ton heavy presses made on our own indicate that the bumpy ridge theory and technology have been widely used in heavy presses and there is a huge potential market in heavy equipment and other industries.
