Abstract:This paper reviews the interdisciplinary meaning of iSchools, analysizes the viewpoints of I-Schools group members on the intergration of LIS, and puts forward the following proposals for the development of Chinese LIS: ① it is no time to delay to integrate the disciplines; ② the full preparation must be made to its arduousness; ③ the breakthrough points should be the real questions; ④ the effective exchange mechanism should be established.

Abstract:The emergence of the iSchool movement and the establishment of iSchools have helped to reshape the landscape of the library and information science (LIS) discipline. In this article, based on a set of research questions focusing around the research and education efforts of about 25 iSchools, we performed a study using both quantitative and qualitative methods on publically available data obtained from the web. Our results show that iSchools share the same vision and mission of working on relationships between information, people and technology, and have established themselves as the appropriate institutions for researchers from diverse subject areas to study this interdisciplinary integration. Overall, we are seeing an emerging iSchool identity and a defining iField, but there are still many important developments to make.

Abstract:International education in China is developing rapidly, and the current situation of the international department of public schools, a special category of international schools, is unclear and problematic. This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of the international section of public schools in China from different perspectives: the history and origins of this form of education, the cities where it is located, the quality of the student population, the content of the curriculum, the conflict between Chinese and foreign teaching methods, the conflict between learning modes, the use of learning equipment, the problems of the school management, the international section of public schools in the context of the epidemic, and the changing trends in the destination of study abroad. This paper is a comprehensive analysis of the international education system in public schools, from the perspective of students and those who have experienced it, using a variety of data and concrete analysis based on real-life situations to sort out existing problems and clarify the current situation so that it can be analyzed in greater depth.

Abstract:This paper expounds the intension of library individual information service,and the present situation of individual information service of the Chinese libraries in network environment,analyzes the defects in it. By giving an outline of the information architecture(IA)theory,the paper discusses relations between IA theory and the individual information service.The paper also concretely probes the revelatory tole of IA theory to individual information service and the theoretical model of them. At last, the paper offers some suggestions on combination of IA theory and library individual information service.

Abstract:Based on the papers published in journals indexed by SCI/SSCI between 2008 and 2012, we studied the interdisciplinarity of iSchools and visualized publication portfolios among different journals and clusters. The findings indicate that the iSchools can be seen as interdisciplinary environments from a macroscopic perspective, but each individual iSchool has its own strengths and specializations. In many cases, the in the individual 'iSchool' can only be interpreted as 'information' not 'interdisciplinary'. The results also show that LIS-related journals still occupy the most important position in the research output of iSchools, although some iSchools with strong computer science background are members of this organization. This work is compared to earlier analyses and provides a different view of the state of the interdisciplinarity of iSchools.

Abstract:It is an important but complicated issue to investigate the long-term effect of the intelligent Web-based English instruction system CSIEC on students' learning performance with satisfying reliability and validity. This chapter introduces three years' process of the design and implementation of English instruction in four diverse high schools with the CSIEC system (i.e. the integration of CSIEC system into English instruction in four high schools: the project team organization, the survey and user needs analysis before the project implementation, system design, programming and test, the process of CSIEC's integration into English classes, and phase meetings). The management issues of the project were thought to guarantee its successful implementation in four different high schools located in distant provinces in China.

Abstract:Studies in the paper are made by regarding "concept+ real action+ dimension" as the inner logic and research methods, to elaborate problems in deepening concepts, innovating routes and triple dimensions during ideological and political course in international Chinese education. International Chinese education does not only aim at teaching Chinese knowledge and skills, but also educating foreign learners. It's an important link to integrate fine traditional Chinese cultures and events reflecting the wonderful life of people in the new era into ideological and political course in the international Chinese education, which can double the effect of education for foreign learners. Big data analysis and innovative routes are put forward for ideological and political course of international Chinese education in the paper, including innovative form, online platform construction, and the overall reform of offline teaching; three dimensions are proposed for ideological and political course under the background of "big data", "pandemic" and "cross-culture". The conclusion made in the paper is that, "Yixi, Sanxing and Sihua" should be realized in the ideological and political course of international Chinese education.

Abstract:This study surveyed college students in China and in the United States to examine student experiences from a comparative approach. The study found that college students in China are more satisfied with their social experiences (interactions with peers and interactions with faculty) and development in interests in ideas and intellectual matters in college. Students in the United States are more satisfied with their academic and intellectual development. This study will contribute to comparative higher education literature and promote interests in global understanding of college student development.

Abstract:This paper aims at six aspects of ISTE's standards for students'IT competence, questionnaire survey was conducted among students from 9 urban schools and 4 Township schools. Researcher studies the current situation of the environment, information-based learning ability and difference analysis, and draws a conclusion. The comprehensive indicators of information-based learning ability are constantly improving, the ability to diagnose and solve problems needs to be improved, and the education of network legal norms needs to be further strengthened; the investment of Township Education Funds should be increased, and the construction of township information infrastructure and teacher training should be strengthened; the improvement of students'information-based learning ability also needs the company to develop better learning products, as well as the understanding of schools and parents, inclusion and support.

Influence of the Integration of Aesthetic Education by Zhu Xi's Neo-Confucianism on the Ideological and Political Education and Internalized Psychology of College Students

Abstract:The purpose is to study the influence of Zhu Xi's neo-Confucianism on the ideological and political education (IPE) of college students. Firstly, the aesthetic connotation of Zhu Xi's Neo-Confucianism is studied. Secondly, an interview is performed with teachers of the IPE course in a university in Xi'an, and a questionnaire survey is conducted on some students of the IPE course in the school. It aims to investigate the current situation of college students' IPE, and the impact of integrating aesthetic education into IPE of college students on the improvement of students' overall quality and internalized psychology. Finally, the reasons for this situation are analyzed and solutions are given. The survey results reveal that the aesthetic education thoughts based on Zhu Xi's neo-Confucianism are integrated into the construction of college students' internalized psychological mechanism, and most students think that their mental health status has changed a lot. The proportion of boys who choose "improved" is 57.95%, and the proportion of girls is 53.45%. The aesthetic education is integrated into the IPE of college students, and the proportion of students who think "no effect" after integration and before integration has decreased by 2.01%. The proportion of the number of people who chose the three indicators of "increasing the innovation of teaching methods", "advancing aesthetic ability", and "improving the effectiveness of ideological education" increased by 5.88%, 5.5%, and 3.98%, respectively. It demonstrates that the effect of IPE on college students has been greatly improved after integration into aesthetic education.
