Abstract:We prove the existence of a local time, the continuity of the local time about $t$, and the regular property for $a.e.$ $x\in R$ of a Ornstein-Uhlenbeck type $\{X_t,\ t\in R^+\}$ driven by a general L\'{e}vy process, under mild regularity conditions. We discuss the asymptotic behaviour of the local time when $X$ is ergodic. We also investigate the first passage problem. These results give precise information about the local properties of the sample functions.

Abstract:In this article, we consider fractional derivatives of local time for $d-$dimensional centered Gaussian processes satisfying certain strong local nondeterminism property. We first give a condition for existence of fractional derivatives of the local time defined by Marchaud derivatives in $L^p(p\ge1)$ and show that these derivatives are Hölder continuous with respect to both time and space variables and are also continuous with respect to the order of derivatives. Moreover, under some additional assumptions, we show that this condition is also necessary for existence of derivatives of the local time with the help of contour integration.

Abstract:In the present paper, a generalized local Taylor formula with the local fractional derivatives (LFDs) is proposed based on the local fractional calculus (LFC). From the fractal geometry point of view, the theory of local fractional integrals and derivatives has been dealt with fractal and continuously non-differentiable functions, and has been successfully applied in engineering problems. It points out the proof of the generalized local fractional Taylor formula, and is devoted to the applications of the generalized local fractional Taylor formula to the generalized local fractional series and the approximation of functions. Finally, it is shown that local fractional Taylor series of the Mittag-Leffler type function is discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, the initial value problem for a class of fractional differential equations is discussed, which generalizes the existent result to a wide class of fractional differential equations. Also the theoretical result established in the paper ensures the validity of chaos control of fractional differential equations. In particular, feed-back control of chaotic fractional differential equation is theoretically investigated and the fractional Lorenz system as a numerical example is further provided to verify the analytical result.

Abstract:In the present paper, we consider the following fractional double phase problem with nonlocal reaction: where ɛ is apositive parameter, , , , is the fractional t-Laplace operator, the reaction term is continuous, and the potential satisfying a local condition. Using a variational approach and topological tools (the non-standard C 1 -Nehari manifold analysis and the abstract category theory), multiplicity of positive solutions and concentration properties for the above problem are established. Our results extend and complement some previous contributions related to double phase variational integrals.

Abstract:We study the local Hölder regularity of weak solutions to the fully fractional parabolic equations involving spatial fractional diffusion and fractional time derivatives of the Marchaud type. It is worth noting that we do not impose boundedness assumptions on the weak solutions and nonhomogeneous terms. Within the space-time nonlocal framework, it is crucial to consider both space-dependent nonlocal tail terms and the first introduced time-dependent nonlocal tail term. By adapting a nonlocal variant of the parabolic De Giorgi iterative technique, we initially establish a priori local boundedness with tail terms for weak solutions and then prove the local Hölder continuity.

Abstract:Since the classical work of Lévy, it is known that the local time of Brownian motion can be characterized through the limit of level crossings. While subsequent extensions of this characterization have primarily focused on Markovian or martingale settings, this work presents a highly anticipated extension to fractional Brownian motion -- a prominent non-Markovian and non-martingale process. Our result is viewed as a fractional analogue of Chacon et al. (1981). Consequently, it provides a global path-by-path construction of fractional Brownian local time. Due to the absence of conventional probabilistic tools in the fractional setting, our approach utilizes completely different argument with a flavor of the subadditive ergodic theorem, combined with the shifted stochastic sewing lemma recently obtained in Matsuda and Perkowski (22, <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2206.01686" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2206.01686">arXiv:2206.01686</a>). Furthermore, we prove an almost-sure convergence of the (1/H)-th variation of fractional Brownian motion with the Hurst parameter H, along random partitions defined by level crossings, called Lebesgue partitions. This result raises an interesting conjecture on the limit, which seems to capture non-Markovian nature of fractional Brownian motion.

Abstract:We study the existence and regularity of local times for general $d$-dimensional stochastic processes. We give a general condition for their existence and regularity properties. To emphasize the contribution of our results, we show that they include various prominent examples, among others solutions to stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion, where the behavior of the local time was not fully understood up to now and remained as an open problem in the stochastic analysis literature. In particular this completes the picture regarding the local time behavior of such equations, above all includes high dimensions and both large and small Hurst parameters. As other main examples, we also show that by using our general approach, one can quite easily cover and extend some recently obtained results on the local times of the Rosenblatt process and Gaussian quasi-helices.
