Abstract:In this paper, we use the monotone iterative technique combined with cone theory to investigate the existence of solutions to the Cauchy problem for Caputo fractional differential equations in Banach spaces. New existence theorems are obtained for the case of a cone P being normal and fully regular respectively. Moreover, two examples are given to illustrate the abstract results.

Abstract:Of concern is the Cauchy problems for fractional integro-differential equations with nonlocal initial conditions. Using a new strategy in terms of the compactness of the semigroup generated by the operator in the linear part and approximating technique, a new existence theorem for mild solutions is established. An application to a fractional partial integro-differential equation with a nonlocal initial condition is also considered.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to analyse the local existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for a Hadamard-type fractional differential equation with nonlocal boundary conditions on an infinite interval. The technique used to arrive our results depends on two fixed point theorems of a sum operator in partial ordering Banach spaces. The local existence and uniqueness of positive solution is given, and we can make iterative sequences to approximate the unique positive solution. For the illustration of the main results, we list two concrete examples in the last section.

Abstract:In this paper, we use Bananch's contraction mapping principle and Schauder’s fixed point theorem to study the existence and uniqueness of solutions for nonlocal boundary value problems of fractional differential equations with the nonlinear term dependent in a fractional derivative of lower order on infinite intervals,  Dα0+u(t)=f(t,u(t),Dα-10+u(t)),t∈J,u(0)=0,Dα-10+u(∞)=∑ m-2 t=1 βiu(ηi)  and extend the existing relevant conclusions. Abstract:In this paper, we investigate an initial value problem for a nonlinear fractional differential equation on an infinite interval. The differential operator is taken in the Hadamard sense and the nonlinear term involves two lower-order fractional derivatives of the unknown function. In order to establish the global existence criteria, we first verify that there exists a unique positive solution to an integral equation based on a class of new integral inequality. Next, we construct a locally convex space, which is metrizable and complete. On this space, applying Schäuder's fixed point theorem, we obtain the existence of at least one solution to the initial value problem.

Abstract:In this article the existence as well as the uniqueness (EU) of the solutions for nonlinear multiorder fractional-differential equations (FDE) with local boundary conditions and fractional derivatives of different orders (Caputo and Riemann–Liouville) are covered. The existence result is derived from Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem and its uniqueness is shown using the Banach contraction mapping principle. To illustrate the reliability of the results, two examples are given.

Abstract:We primarily investigate the existence of solutions for fractional neutral integro-differential equations with nonlocal initial conditions, which are crucial for understanding natural phenomena. Taking into account factors such as neutral type, fractional-order integrals, and fractional-order derivatives, we employ probability density functions, Laplace transforms, and resolvent operators to formulate a well-defined concept of a mild solution for the specified equation. Following this, by using fixed-point theorems, we establish the existence of mild solutions under more relaxed conditions.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of $$\psi$$ -Caputo fractional order integro-differential equations of Sobolev type with nonlocal conditions in Banach spaces. With the help of the theory of fractional calculus, probability density and $$\psi$$ -Laplace transform in Banach spaces, we give an explicit form of the mild solutions to the nonlocal Cauchy problem for the $$\psi$$ -Caputo fractional order equations and prove an existence theorem of solutions in view of the Mönch fixed point theorem. Moreover, we establish multidimensional Gronwall-type inequalities with singular kernels of mixed orders, which extend essentially many existing results. These Gronwall-type inequalities are new even when there are two different singular kernels in one-dimensional case. Finally, applications are presented to illustrate our theoretical results.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of nonlocal impulsive differential equation with conformable fractional derivative is studied. By utilizing the theory of operators semigroup and fractional derivative, a new concept on a solution for our problem is introduced. We used some fixed point theorems such as Banach contraction mapping principle, Schauder’s fixed point theorem, Schaefer’s fixed point theorem, and Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem, and we derive many existence and uniqueness results concerning the solution for impulsive nonlocal Cauchy problems. Using the Krasnosel'skii fixed-point theorem we prove, via the Kolmogorov–Riesz criteria, the existence of solutions. Abstract:In this paper, we consider initial-boundary value problems for two-component nonlinear systems of time-fractional diffusion equations with the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition and non-negative initial values. The main results are the existence of solutions global in time and the blow-up. Our approach involves the truncation of the nonlinear terms, which enables us to handle all local Lipschitz continuous nonlinear terms, provided their sum is less than or equal to zero. By employing a comparison principle for the corresponding linear system, we establish also the non-negativity of the nonlinear system.

Abstract:This paper studies the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a new kind of mixed fractional differential systems with slit-strips conditions, containing Caputo-type fractional derivatives. The first result on the existence and uniqueness is based on Banach's fixed point theorem, and the second result on the existence and uniqueness of the solution is proved by using a Schaefer-type fixed point theorem. The applicability of our primary results is finally illustrated by some examples.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate two types of problems (the initial-value problem and nonlocal Cauchy problem) for fractional differential equations involving ψ -Hilfer derivative in multivariable case ( ψ - m -Hilfer derivative). First we propose and discuss ψ -fractional integral, ψ -fractional derivative and ψ -Hilfer type fractional derivative of a multivariable function f : ℝ m → ℝ ( m is a positive integer). Then, using the properties of the ψ - m -Hilfer fractional derivative with m = 1 (the ψ -Hilfer derivative), we derive an equivalent relationship between solutions to the initial-value (Cauchy) problem and solutions to some integral equations, and also present an existence and uniqueness theorem. Based on the equivalency relationship, we establish new and general existence results for the nonlocal Cauchy problem of fractional differential equations involving ψ -Hilfer multivariable operators in the space of weighted continuous functions. Moreover, we obtain a new Gronwall-type inequality with singular kernel, and derive the dependence of the solution on the order and the initial condition for the fractional Cauchy problem with the help of this Gronwall-type inequality. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate our results. Compared with the recent paper [2] and other previous works, the novelties in this paper are in treating the multivariable case of operators ( f : ℝ m → ℝ, m is a positive integer).

Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems

Abstract:We investigate the existence of solutions for a class of fractional evolution equations with nonlocal initial conditions and superlinear growth nonlinear functions in Banach spaces. By using the compactness of semigroup generated by the linear operator, we neither assume any Lipschitz property of the nonlinear term nor the compactness of the nonlocal initial conditions. Moreover, the approximation technique coupled with the Hartmann-type inequality argument allows the treatment of nonlinear terms with superlinear growth. Then combining with the Leray-Schauder continuation principle, we prove the existence results. Finally, the results obtained are applied to fractional parabolic equations with continuous superlinearly growth nonlinearities and nonlocal initial conditions including periodic or antiperiodic conditions, multipoint conditions and integral-type conditions.

Abstract:We obtain a new existence theorem for classical solutions to nonautonomous equations with nonlocal initial conditionsu′(t)=A(t)u(t)+f(t,u(t)),t∈(s,T],u(s)+g(u)=u0,in a Banach space X, where T>s⩾0, f,g are given X-valued functions, and A(t) is a sectorial operator (not necessarily densely defined) in X for each t∈[0,T]. Both Banach's contraction principle and Schauder's fixed point theorem, as well as the theory of evolution families and interpolation spaces, are employed in our approach. A concrete example is shown to illustrate the existence theorem.
