Abstract:In the process of method reconstruction,to reappear inherent geometric constraints relationship of features,optimizing fitting to those point data should satisfy some special constraints.The general solving method—Newton iteration method often fails to reach convergence value because of undetermined initial value and constraints.To solve above problems,this paper puts forward Homotopy method: firstly,combines part of constraints.Secondly constructs under constraints Homotopy,thirdly,uses the local curvature to control the iteration steps.The example show that: the method is effective in fitting the point data with constraints.

Abstract:In this study, a thorough investigation was conducted into the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) and its application to solve the Burger and Blasius equations. The HPM is a mathematical technique that combines aspects of homotopy and perturbation methods. By introducing an auxiliary parameter, the complex problems were transformed into a series of simpler equations that could be solved step by step. The results of the study are significant. The HPM was found to be effective in solving the Burger and Blasius equations quickly and accurately. It proved to be a valuable tool for handling challenging mathematical problems. Consequently, researchers encountering seemingly impossible math puzzles can consider employing HPM as a potential solution.

Abstract:Abstract We use Hodge theoretic methods to study homotopy types of complex projective manifolds with arbitrary fundamental groups. The main tool we use is the schematization functor $X \mapsto (X\otimes \mathbb {C})^{\mathrm {sch}}$ , introduced by the third author as a substitute for the rationalization functor in homotopy theory in the case of non-simply connected spaces. Our main result is the construction of a Hodge decomposition on $(X\otimes \mathbb {C})^{\mathrm {sch}}$ . This Hodge decomposition is encoded in an action of the discrete group $\mathbb {C}^{\times \delta }$ on the object $(X\otimes \mathbb {C})^{\mathrm {sch}}$ and is shown to recover the usual Hodge decomposition on cohomology, the Hodge filtration on the pro-algebraic fundamental group, and, in the simply connected case, the Hodge decomposition on the complexified homotopy groups. We show that our Hodge decomposition satisfies a purity property with respect to a weight filtration, generalizing the fact that the higher homotopy groups of a simply connected projective manifold have natural mixed Hodge structures. As applications we construct new examples of homotopy types which are not realizable as complex projective manifolds and we prove a formality theorem for the schematization of a complex projective manifold.

Abstract:We show that the two couple equations derived by approximate symmetry method and approximate homotopy symmetry method are connected by a transformation for the perturbed PDEs. Consequently, approximate homotopy series solutions can be obtained by acting the transformation on the known solutions by approximate symmetry method. Applications to the Cahn-Hilliard equation illustrate the effectiveness of the transformation.

Abstract:Journal of Topology and Analysis, Ahead of Print. In this paper, we consider Morse theory for perturbed Dirac-harmonic maps into flat tori. We show that Morse homology can be defined for some classes of perturbations, and that it is determined by a homotopy type of the perturbations. We also give an explicit computation of the homology. As an application, we give a lower bound on the number of perturbed Dirac-harmonic maps in a given component for some classes of perturbations.

Abstract:We generalize Freyd's well-known result that "homotopy is not concrete", offering a general method to show that under certain assumptions on a model category $\mathcal M$, its homotopy category $\text{ho}(\mathcal M)$ cannot be concrete. This result is part of an attempt to understand more deeply the relation between set theory and abstract homotopy theory.

Abstract:One of the prime motivation for topology was Homotopy theory, which captures the general idea of a continuous transformation between two entities, which may be spaces or maps. In later decades, an algebraic formulation of topology was discovered with the development of Homology theory. Some of the deepest results in topology are about the connections between Homotopy and Homology. These results are proved using intricate constructions. This paper re-proves these connections via an axiomatic approach that provides a common ground for homotopy and homology in arbitrary categories. One of the main contributions is a re-interpretation of convexity as an extrinsic rather than intrinsic property. All the axioms and results are applicable for the familiar context of topological spaces. This creates a complete framework for an algebraic characterization of various categories such as Dynamical systems, Open games, and Fractals, which also preserves a notion of Homotopy.

Abstract:We prove the Hurewicz theorem in homotopy type theory, i.e., that for $X$ a pointed, $(n-1)$-connected type $(n \geq 1)$ and $A$ an abelian group, there is a natural isomorphism $\pi_n(X)^{ab} \otimes A \cong \tilde{H}_n(X; A)$ relating the abelianization of the homotopy groups with the homology. We also compute the connectivity of a smash product of types and express the lowest non-trivial homotopy group as a tensor product. Along the way, we study magmas, loop spaces, connected covers and prespectra, and we use $1$-coherent categories to express naturality and for the Yoneda lemma. As homotopy type theory has models in all $\infty$-toposes, our results can be viewed as extending known results about spaces to all other $\infty$-toposes.

Abstract:In this paper we explore new relations between Algebraic Topology and the theory of Hopf Algebras. For an arbitrary topological space $X$, the loop space homology $H_*(\Omega\Sigma X; \coefZ)$ is a Hopf algebra. We introduce a new homotopy invariant of a topological space $X$ taking for its value the isomorphism class (over the integers) of the Hopf algebra $H_*(\Omega\Sigma X; \coefZ)$. This invariant is trivial if and only if the Hopf algebra $H_*(\Omega\Sigma X; \coefZ)$ is isomorphic to a Lie-Hopf algebra, that is, to a primitively generated Hopf algebra. We show that for a given $X$ these invariants are obstructions to the existence of a homotopy equivalence $\Sigma X\simeq \Sigma^2Y$ for some space $Y$. Further on, using the notion of Hopf algebras, we establish new structural properties of the cohomology ring, in particular, of the cup product. For example, using the fact that the suspension of a polyhedral product $X$ is a double suspension, we obtain a strong condition on the cohomology ring structure of $X$. This gives an important application in toric topology. For an algebra to be realised as the cohomology ring of a moment-angle manifold $\Z_P$ associated to a simple polytope $P$, we found an obstruction in the Hopf algebra $H_*(\Omega\Sigma \Z_P)$. In addition, we use homotopy decompositions to study particular Hopf algebras.

Avoiding small denominator problems by means of the homotopy analysis method

Abstract:The so-called ``small denominator problem'' was a fundamental problem of dynamics, as pointed out by Poincaré. Small denominators appear most commonly in perturbative theory. The Duffing equation is the simplest example of a non-integrable system exhibiting all problems due to small denominators. In this paper, using the forced Duffing equation as an example, we illustrate that the famous ``small denominator problems'' never appear if a non-perturbative approach based on the homotopy analysis method (HAM), namely ``the method of directly defining inverse mapping'' (MDDiM), is used. The HAM-based MDDiM provides us great freedom to directly define the inverse operator of an undetermined linear operator so that all small denominators can be completely avoided and besides the convergent series of multiple limit-cycles of the forced Duffing equation with high nonlinearity are successfully obtained. So, from the viewpoint of the HAM, the famous ``small denominator problems'' are only artifacts of perturbation methods. Therefore, completely abandoning perturbation methods but using the HAM-based MDDiM, one would be never troubled by ``small denominators''. The HAM-based MDDiM has general meanings in mathematics and thus can be used to attack many open problems related to the so-called ``small denominators''.

Abstract:In this short note we show that the homotopy category of smooth compactifications of smooth algebraic varieties is equivalent to the homotopy category of smooth varieties over a field of characteristic zero. As an application we show that the functor sending a variety to the p-th step of the Hodge filtration of its complex cohomology is representable in the homotopy category of simplicial presheaves on smooth complex varieties. The main motivation are recent applications of homotopy theory to Deligne-Beilinson cohomology theories.

Abstract:We introduce a homotopy theory of digraphs (directed graphs) and prove its basic properties, including the relations to the homology theory of digraphs constructed by the authors in previous papers. In particular, we prove the homotopy invariance of homologies of digraphs and the relation between the fundamental group of the digraph and its first homology group. The category of (undirected) graphs can be identified by a natural way with a full subcategory of digraphs. Thus we obtain also consistent homology and homotopy theories for graphs. Note that the homotopy theory for graphs coincides with the one constructed in [1] and [2].

Abstract:Exact sequences are a well known notion in homological algebra. We investigate here the more vague properties of 'homotopical exactness', appearing for instance in the fibre or cofibre sequence of a map. Such notions of exactness can be given for very general 'categories with homotopies' having homotopy kernels and cokernels, but become more interesting under suitable stability hypotheses, satisfied - in particular - by chain complexes. It is then possible to measure the default of homotopical exactness of a sequence by the homotopy type of a certain object, a sort of 'homotopical homology'.
