Abstract:The development of hospital business demands the integration of information systems. After studying the relative technologies for system connection,system integration and different modes of connecting system, we put forward a protocol to integrate the existing laboratory information system( LIS) and hospital information system(HIS). It introduces the multi-tier distributed technical methods for improving the client/server applications; it ascertains the units and transactions participating in workflow integration by referencing the IHE( Integrating the Healthcare Enterprises) Laboratory Technology Framework; it implements information exchange by Health Level 7(HL7) standards; and it can conserve previous investment and avoid some problems of security, maintenance and realtime process without the risk of massively updating system.

Abstract:The Web is based on a browsing paradigm that makes it difficult to retrieve compositive information from multiple sites. Web information integration systems,as a sophisticated solution to this problem,enable easy retrieval for comprehensive information from the Web. Based on a prototype we have implemented a Web information integration system,which is called Aoede. This paper introduces the design and implementation of the systems by analyaing many of its main issues,including architecture ,information resources ,wrapper,mediator ,query optimization and execution. Difficult problems are highlighted and respective possible solutions to them are also given.

Abstract:The library in the institutions of higher learning is the special stack room to collect literature of its own.It is of great significance to show the result of running school,to keep up complete data and to form a characteristic collection.By taking University of Zhejiang Science and Technology(ZUST)as an example,we analyze the existing problems in the library construction of the newly-built institutions of higher learning and define the scope of the library collection.Thus several methods are advanced to strengthen both its direction and initiative to turn the data base resources into the school's special collection resources as well as to grasp the timing node to collect library materials.

Abstract:Since the first established library in the 7th century B.C., libraries have played a main role in civilization development due to their ability to help humans reach the required information easily. However, in the last decades, after the huge propagation of information from various sources, including the addition of books, other data types such as audio, video, and images have emerged. Therefore, finding an integrated system to manage this huge amount of library data became necessary. As a result, the integrated library system (ILS) improved its efficiency and ability to manage various and enormous amounts of data in addition to following the lending processes and inventory management. There are many commercial and open-source integrated systems used in libraries; selecting the best open-source integrated library system to achieve the library requirements is still challenging due to the variety of available libraries. Although these libraries are open source and freely available, the installation process requires a long time and expert effort, making selecting the best library system a sensitive and important mission. This survey demonstrates the most famous open-source integrated library systems and the essential technologies used to build them, along with the system specifications, to help librarians and educational and academic institutions select the best one for their requirements. Through reviewing the previous academic research, it was noticed that many of them had the task of selecting the right ILS, but most of them did not handle the programming principles based on it, which is the milestone in its building, so we recommended using an automated technique to evaluate ILS and select the best one.

Abstract:Even though most universities in China have successively introduced digital resources, traditional paper-based resources still share major percentage in the whole library resources. In the current library management schemes, the information of the resource requirement and usage record is not utilized effectively either in resource purchase decision or in resource allocation plan. Furthermore, there is no efficient approach proposed to utilize the advanced information technologies in library management. In this paper, we firstly analyze the patterns of the current library services in Chinese universities and points out some problems existing in the current resource management systems. We then propose several approaches attempting to improve user satisfactory and resource utilization by considering customer behavior and requirement information.

Abstract:With the rapid development of the Internet, information processing work in universities has also increased, from libraries to electronic book management platforms, everything is available. Although the number of libraries we have is constantly increasing and people's attention to them is also increasing, their existence is often universal, non-existent, and sometimes incomplete, which brings great difficulties to our daily management. Analyzed the workflow and functional requirements of university libraries, and applied them in practice to achieve better results. On this basis, the paper provides a detailed analysis of the main functions and various forms of the enterprise financial management information system. SQL Server 2008 is a database based system with high confidentiality and large-scale storage capacity. Through this concept and approach, one can better grasp and grasp the business skills required in daily work and work, greatly improving work efficiency. A library MIS based on AIS/S model was constructed using an A/S model and a SQL Server database. This software is user centered and librarian centered. They proposed a system to the library that maximized its workflow and improved its service management and supply.
