Abstract:Considering the Real-time Windows Target of Matlab only supports some well-known international vendors' equipment,while a large number of domestic equipment cannot be used,the driver of analog output channels was written based on C MEX S function taking Advantech's PCI1727U card as hardware platform.Different from xPC driver,Matlab did not provide related hardware operating functions and device driver programing tutorials on Real-time Windows Target,therefore the device driver programing under Real-time Windows Target mostly depended on exploration and testing.In the end,the written driver was tested taking PCI1713 as an aided card.The testing results indicate that the written driver of PCI1727U can output the given signal to the test system,which provides theoretical foundation and guiding principle for the further utilization of data acquisition system based on Real-time Windows Target.

Abstract:From the aspect of engineering applications, this paper gives an introduction of the PCI hardware device and the basic principle of PCI driver. The description of interface of PCI bus, and a discussion of WDM driver design issue using DDK exploitation of PCI device by way of PCI9052 are available. According to the design characteristics of the driver of data acquisition system, the development methods of device drivers for the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems using WDM under Windows 2000, and the main process of driver program and detail code of all course are presented. At the same time, how to read/write the configuration space of data acquisition card based on PCI bus, physical memory and I/O port are explained. In the end, how to debug, install and test the driver are explained.

Abstract:In embedded system,especially with low system resources,good driver structural design can effectively reduce memory and CPU occupation,hence improve the system’s performance.V4L2 is a new framework for video device driver development under Linux,and a in-depth study on the running mechanism of V4L2 is given.By making full use of its properties,a V4L2 driver develop method is presented for video device based on reducing system resource consumption and promoting driver’s behavior,and its validity is proven by experiment.

Abstract:Based on a clear analysis of the latest Windows driver framework WDF, this paper has implemented a driver of the PCIe-SpaceWire interface card device and put forward a discussion about ensuring the stability of PCIe driver. Abstract:The methods to design WDM driver programs of PCI devices using Microsoft DDK and Compuware DriverWorks are intro-duced,and an example,the design of driver program for digital film image decoding board according with DCI(digital cinema initiatives,LLC) specification,are given.The following aspects of driver program design are discussed including the structure of WDM driver programs for PCI devices,the different handling methods for different kinds of I/O requests,the processing procedure of DMA in driver program and the synchronization of DMA threads,the main points to port driver programs from single-CPU system to multi-CPU system.The experimental results shows that the driver program can control the circuit board to decode in real time the DCI specified film image sequences whose maximum data rate reaches the upper limit(250 M Bits/sec) suggested by DCI specification.

Abstract:Universal Serial Bus USB is used widely because of the advantages of convenience higher speed and Plug and Play Function and it has become a popular interface between computer and peripheral device. USB driver is the software interface between them while Windows Driver Model WDM is the latest driver model. First the USB2.0 specification especially focusing on the transfer type and bus protocol is introduced and secondly the theory and mechanism most of USB driver are analyzed and the design method of USB driver is particularly introduced. At last the application between PC and USB device is given.

Abstract:The performances and characteristics of the PCI9054, a typical PCI Bus I/O chip, are introduced in this paper. The characteristics of the WDM driver are analyzed. In order to implement a high speed data communication system with large data throughput, a fast and efficient data transferring mode by incorporating the DMA is used in both hardware and software. The method has been verified in real platform.

Abstract:For some codes of Embedded WinCE are not open,it is difficult to develop network driver. In this paper the structure of network driver based on WinCE had been analyzed. Combined with the transplant of CS8900 network interface driver using WinCE 5.0 kernel based on Pulse Generator's experiment board,the development process of network driver in embedded WinCE was emphatically discussed,besides the detailed analysis of communication method between driver and the system kernel and how to make and load driver were given. At last the possibility of the driver was validated through experiments.

Abstract:Specific to wide-band direction finding system based on PCI Express bus,designed a driver programming which for PCI Express interface chip PEX8114 and studied applied in Windows XP operate system,and emphasized the key step of high-speed data transmission called DMA Interrupt.Verified by practice, the steady data transfer rate of the wide-band direction finding system can be up to higher than 160 MBps.Moreover,this driver programming can be transplanted to other high speed data transmission system.

Abstract:PCI express bus is usually used as a data transmission interface of varieties of real-time and high-speed data transmission systems.Generally,the high-speed data transmission is implemented by the bridge chip based on PCI express bus.In order to communicate between the application program and the hardware,it needs the support of the driver.In spite of the differences between different systems,it is similar between the main frames of these systems.To reduce the repetitive work of driver design in different systems,an universal WDM driver applied in Windows XP operating system is designed.The main frame of the driver is presented,and the bidirectional data transmission,called the DMA interrupt transmission is fully stated.The driver uses flexible application interfaces to finish the setting of the hardware.It is noted that the driver design is of strong university and can be transplanted to other high-speed data transmission system by utilizing such kind of bridge chips.
