Abstract:An interface based on USB is designed for Data Acquirement System with DSP chips. Cypress EZ-USB technology and FPGA technology were used in this interface. This kind of interface can achieve high speed data communication between the Data Acquirement System and the PC in the USB 1.1 protocol, and it can meet the requirements of high speed and real-time requirements.

Abstract:With the comparison of two PCI bus interface methods,the interface chip PCI9030 is used to design the interface circuit considering the example of switch module of PCI bus.Firstly,the main characters of PCI9030 are introduced.Afterward,a detailed description to the hardware design is given including PCI bus interface,local bus interface and serial E2PROM interface.The E2PROM is configured with the reference of PCI9030 datebook with PLXmon,and the WDM driver is programmed with DriverStudio.The results show that it can improve the developing efficiency,and has a good reliability that the PCI9030 is used to realize the design of PCI bus interface circuit,and it is well-grounded to develop the module instruments of PXI bus.

Abstract:In order to accelerate the speed of data transmission between DSP and Industrial Personal Computer(IPC), this paper uses PCI bus in IPC to implement high-speed data exchange between IPC and DSP by sharing dual-port RAM. Abstract:The performances and characteristics of the PCI9054, a typical PCI Bus I/O chip, are introduced in this paper. The characteristics of the WDM driver are analyzed. In order to implement a high speed data communication system with large data throughput, a fast and efficient data transferring mode by incorporating the DMA is used in both hardware and software. The method has been verified in real platform.

Abstract:The high-speed digital-to-analog conversion circuit is the core of a high-speed audio cassette duplicator.This paper discusses the hardware design of a two-channel DAC based on PCI bus.By comparing two approaches of the PCI interface design,the chip PCI9054 is chosen and an explanation of using this approach is given.To satisfy the speed and resolution demand of the DA circuit,a combination of the chip AD768 and AD811 is used.Furthermore,after a introduction of windows driver model(WDM),the paper discusses in details about the driver development based on the operation system Windows2000.

Abstract:From the aspect of engineering applications, this paper gives an introduction of the PCI hardware device and the basic principle of PCI driver. The description of interface of PCI bus, and a discussion of WDM driver design issue using DDK exploitation of PCI device by way of PCI9052 are available. According to the design characteristics of the driver of data acquisition system, the development methods of device drivers for the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems using WDM under Windows 2000, and the main process of driver program and detail code of all course are presented. At the same time, how to read/write the configuration space of data acquisition card based on PCI bus, physical memory and I/O port are explained. In the end, how to debug, install and test the driver are explained.

Abstract:A simultaneous reconfigurable multi-chip access bus interface for application in high-bandwidth multi-drop parallel interconnections such as a memory bus has been developed. The interface utilizes a source synchronous signaling and direct-sequence code-division multiple access (CDMA) technique for high bus concurrency and low channel latency. The prototype chip, fabricated in 0.18-/spl mu/m CMOS and tested in a 10-cm test board achieves a data rate of 2 Gb/s/pin with multiple access and re-configurability between four (2-to-2) off-chip I/Os.

Abstract:PCI bus is widely used in modern electronic test and measurement fields.However,current testing facilities based on the PCI bus are mainly Target devices of PCI bus,which greatly limits the performance of testing facilities. This paper,firstly,presents the working principle in Initiator mode of PCI bus and then realizes the function of testing facilities worked in Initiator mode of PCI bus by the combination of PLX PCI9054 chip and FPGA.The design can effectively improve the real-time performance among testing facilities on data interaction,and can be used as connection between testing facilities and dedicated storage device.At last,the paper presents examples between devices which are worked in Initiator mode of PCI bus and fully verify the feasibility of the design.

Abstract:Specific to wide-band direction finding system based on PCI Express bus,designed a driver programming which for PCI Express interface chip PEX8114 and studied applied in Windows XP operate system,and emphasized the key step of high-speed data transmission called DMA Interrupt.Verified by practice, the steady data transfer rate of the wide-band direction finding system can be up to higher than 160 MBps.Moreover,this driver programming can be transplanted to other high speed data transmission system.

Abstract:The methods to design WDM driver programs of PCI devices using Microsoft DDK and Compuware DriverWorks are intro-duced,and an example,the design of driver program for digital film image decoding board according with DCI(digital cinema initiatives,LLC) specification,are given.The following aspects of driver program design are discussed including the structure of WDM driver programs for PCI devices,the different handling methods for different kinds of I/O requests,the processing procedure of DMA in driver program and the synchronization of DMA threads,the main points to port driver programs from single-CPU system to multi-CPU system.The experimental results shows that the driver program can control the circuit board to decode in real time the DCI specified film image sequences whose maximum data rate reaches the upper limit(250 M Bits/sec) suggested by DCI specification.
