Abstract:High performance PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) bridge IP (Intellectual Property) compliant with the PCI 2.2 specification is designed and two circuit structures with improved reusablity is proposed. Key techniques are analyzed. A verification platform of PCI protocol is built to facilitate performance tests including PCI compatibility. In order to ensure the correctness of the testing platform, a method of format examination is adopted to realize the correct description of PCI protocol.

Abstract:The performances and characteristics of the PCI9054, a typical PCI Bus I/O chip, are introduced in this paper. The characteristics of the WDM driver are analyzed. In order to implement a high speed data communication system with large data throughput, a fast and efficient data transferring mode by incorporating the DMA is used in both hardware and software. The method has been verified in real platform.

Abstract:With the comparison of two PCI bus interface methods,the interface chip PCI9030 is used to design the interface circuit considering the example of switch module of PCI bus.Firstly,the main characters of PCI9030 are introduced.Afterward,a detailed description to the hardware design is given including PCI bus interface,local bus interface and serial E2PROM interface.The E2PROM is configured with the reference of PCI9030 datebook with PLXmon,and the WDM driver is programmed with DriverStudio.The results show that it can improve the developing efficiency,and has a good reliability that the PCI9030 is used to realize the design of PCI bus interface circuit,and it is well-grounded to develop the module instruments of PXI bus.

Abstract:PCI bus is widely used in modern electronic test and measurement fields.However,current testing facilities based on the PCI bus are mainly Target devices of PCI bus,which greatly limits the performance of testing facilities. This paper,firstly,presents the working principle in Initiator mode of PCI bus and then realizes the function of testing facilities worked in Initiator mode of PCI bus by the combination of PLX PCI9054 chip and FPGA.The design can effectively improve the real-time performance among testing facilities on data interaction,and can be used as connection between testing facilities and dedicated storage device.At last,the paper presents examples between devices which are worked in Initiator mode of PCI bus and fully verify the feasibility of the design.

Abstract:Summary The paper introduced the design of the data channel between the hardware firewall and the host computer based on the advanced Virtex-II-series FPGA from Xilinx, Inc. and the bridge chipPCI9656 from PLX Technology. Abstract:A simultaneous reconfigurable multi-chip access bus interface for application in high-bandwidth multi-drop parallel interconnections such as a memory bus has been developed. The interface utilizes a source synchronous signaling and direct-sequence code-division multiple access (CDMA) technique for high bus concurrency and low channel latency. The prototype chip, fabricated in 0.18-/spl mu/m CMOS and tested in a 10-cm test board achieves a data rate of 2 Gb/s/pin with multiple access and re-configurability between four (2-to-2) off-chip I/Os.

Abstract:In order to adapt to the development of science and technology and the needs of society, cryptosystem is also developing towards high speed and high reliability. This paper adopts PCI-Express BUS to replace the traditional PCI BUS, because PCIE is a serial bus in the form of point-to-point, the scheme can avoid the timing out of sync problem when PCI Bus transmits data, the scheme can solve the problem of highspeed data transmission between FPGA and PC. This paper introduces the design of DMA asynchronous transmission scheme based on PCIE bus, and the effectiveness of this scheme is proved by the verification.

Abstract:High speed real time data acquisition technology is receiving increasing attention due to exponentially expanding industrial control and measurement usage. Among high speed industry bus, PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus is one of the most widely used. The main objective of this paper is to enhance the speed of PCI bus for the application of data acquisition on the premise of real time data transfer. A kind of implementation solution based on FPGA and PCI bus is carried out, the application program is completed through SDK and LabWindows/CVI, and data transmission is realized by DMA mode and the ping-pong control of double SDRAMs, some factors which may influence the speed of data transfer are analyzed. Experimental results show that the proposed system has achieved a very high data transfer speed which is 86.9MB/s, it is especially suitable for real time and high speed applications.

Abstract:The method to design PCI-X interface for high speed network security co-processor is introduced, which uses two protocols such as IPSec and SSL/TLS protocols to optimize the system, and deploys different kinds of algorithm engines.The co-processor uses PCI-X bus interface and SoC chip with higher performance, which meets the requirement of both PCI-X bus protocol and the internal data transfers of co-processor.Experimental results show this method is feasible.

Abstract:Since an certain virtual simulation platform needs to transmit and receive numerous GJB289A data and has to perform data,real-time processing according to the different algorithms,the PCI bus intelligent GJB289A simulator was designed. The high-speed DSP is adoted to process the received GJB289A data and the real-time of the system is improved.The host loads the DSP programme through the PCI bus,updates the data processing algorithms and increases the flexibility of the system.FPGA is employed to achieve GJB289A interface logic.GJB289A bus analog transceiver is designed to replace the foreign chips and lower the system cost.At present the card is successfully used in the simulation platform of a virtual simulation system,and it works stable.
