Abstract:In this paper, we consider the viscous n-dimensional Camassa–Holm equations in the whole space. Various regularity criteria for the strong solution are established. As a corollary, we show the existence of a global smooth solution when $n\leq4$.

Abstract:We consider the n-dimensional ( $$n=2,3$$ ) Camassa–Holm equations with nonlocal diffusion of type $$(-\,\Delta )^{s}, \ \frac{n}{4}\le s<1$$ . In Gan et al. (Discrete Contin Dyn Syst 40(6):3427–3450, 2020), the global-in-time existence and uniqueness of finite energy weak solutions is established. In this paper, we show that with regular initial data, the finite energy weak solutions are indeed regular for all time. Moreover, the weak solutions are stable with respect to the initial data. The main difficulty lies in establishing higher order uniform estimates with the presence of the fractional Laplacian diffusion. To achieve this, we need to explore suitable fractional Sobolev type inequalities and bilinear estimates for fractional derivatives. The critical case $$s=\frac{n}{4}$$ contains extra difficulties and a smallness assumption on the initial data is imposed.

Abstract:Several regularity criterions of Leray-Hopf weak solutions $u$ to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations are obtained. The results show that a weak solution $u$ becomes regular if the gradient of velocity component $\nabla_{h}{u}$ (or $ \nabla{u_3}$) satisfies the additional conditions in the class of $L^{q}(0,T; \dot{B}_{p,r}^{s}(\mathbb{R}^{3}))$, where $\nabla_{h}=(\partial_{x_{1}},\partial_{x_{2}})$ is the horizontal gradient operator. Besides, we also consider the anisotropic regularity criterion for the weak solution of Navier-Stokes equations in $\mathbb{R}^3$. Finally, we also get a further regularity criterion, when give the sufficient condition on $\partial_3u_3$.

Abstract:We prove some regularity criteria for the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with partial viscosity. We study three cases: incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with zero viscosity in a bounded domain, incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with zero resistivity in a bounded domain, and the density-dependent magnetohydrodynamic equations with zero heat conductivity and zero resistivity in the whole space [Formula: see text]. Our results extend and improve some known results.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the partial regularity of the solutions for the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations. We first prove a criterion of local Hölder continuous of the suitable weak solutions of the Boussinesq equations, and show that one-dimensional Hausdorff measure of the singular point set is zero. Secondly, we present a local uniform gradient estimate on the suitable weak solutions and assert that the local behavior of the solution can be dominated by some scaled quantities, such as the scaled local L3-norm of the velocity. Besides, when the initial data v0 and θ0 decay sufficiently rapidly at ∞, the distribution of the regular point set of the suitable weak solutions is also considered. Based on it, one can find that MHD equations are more similar to Navier–Stokes equations than Boussinesq equations. Finally, we give a local regularity criterion of the suitable weak solutions near the boundary.

Abstract:Several types of new regularity criteria for Leray-Hopf weak solutions u to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations are obtained. Some of them are based on the third component u_3 of velocity under Prodi-Serrin index condition, another type is in terms of ω_3 and ∂_3u_3 with Prodi-Serrin index condition. And a very recent work of the authors, based on only one of the nine entries of the gradient tensor, is renovated.

When the horizontal angular component of the velocity belongs to some Lorentz spaces, then strong solutions to this system can be smoothly extended beyond the possible blow-up time T . It should be pointed out that our result does not need any additional assumption on the magnetic field.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate some priori estimates to provide the critical regularity criteria for incompressible Navier-Stokes equations on and super critical surface quasi-geostrophic equations on . Concerning the Navier-Stokes equations, we demonstrate that a Leray-Hopf solution is regular if , or in Lorentz space , with . Additionally, an alternative regularity condition is expressed as ( ), contingent upon a smallness assumption on the norm . For the surface quasi-geostrophic equations, we derive that a Leray-Hopf weak solution is smooth for any small enough. Similar to the case of Navier-Stokes equations, we derive regularity criteria in more refined spaces, i.e. Lorentz spaces and addition of two critical spaces , with smallness assumption on .

Abstract:Smooth solutions to the axially symmetric Navier-Stokes equations obey the following maximum principle: parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, t)parallel to(L infinity) <= parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, 0)parallel to(L infinity). We first prove the global regularity of solutions if parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, 0)parallel to(L infinity) or parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, t)parallel to(L infinity(r <= r0)) is small compared with certain dimensionless quantity of the initial data. This result improves the one in Zhen Lei and Qi S. Zhang [10]. As a corollary, we also prove the global regularity under the assumption that} vertical bar ru(theta)(r,z,t)vertical bar <= vertical bar ln r vertical bar(-3/2), for all 0 < r <= delta(0) is an element of (0,1/2). Abstract:This paper studies the three-dimensional density-dependent incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. First, a regularity criterion is proved which allows the initial density to contain vacuum. Then we establish another blow-up criterion in the Besov space B˙∞,20 when the positive initial density is bounded away from zero. Third, we prove a global nonexistence result for initial density with high decreasing at infinity. Fourth, we obtain a regularity criterion to the density-dependent incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in a bounded domain. Finally, we also give some remarks on the regularity criteria for the three-dimensional full compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in a bounded domain and for the incompressible homogeneous magnetohydrodynamic equation in the whole space R3.

Abstract:In this paper we consider the Cauchy problem for a higher order modified Camassa–Holm equation. By using the Fourier restriction norm method introduced by Bourgain, we establish the local well-posedness for the initial data in the H s (R) with ${s > -n+\frac{5}{4},\,n\in {\bf N}^{+}.}$ As a consequence of the conservation of the energy ${{||u||_{H^{1}(R)},}}$ we have the global well-posedness for the initial data in H 1(R).

Abstract:Consider an axis-symmetric suitable weak solution of 3D incompressible Navier-Stokes equation with nontrivial swirl. If the solution satisfies a slightly supercritical assumption, we will prove that v is regular. This extends the results of Chen-Strain-Tsai-Yau, Koch-Nadirashvili-Seregin-Sverak and Lei-Zhang where regularities under critical assumptions were proven.
