Abstract:Several types of new regularity criteria for Leray-Hopf weak solutions u to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations are obtained. Some of them are based on the third component u_3 of velocity under Prodi-Serrin index condition, another type is in terms of ω_3 and ∂_3u_3 with Prodi-Serrin index condition. And a very recent work of the authors, based on only one of the nine entries of the gradient tensor, is renovated.

Abstract:Several regularity criterions of Leray-Hopf weak solutions $u$ to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations are obtained. The results show that a weak solution $u$ becomes regular if the gradient of velocity component $\nabla_{h}{u}$ (or $ \nabla{u_3}$) satisfies the additional conditions in the class of $L^{q}(0,T; \dot{B}_{p,r}^{s}(\mathbb{R}^{3}))$, where $\nabla_{h}=(\partial_{x_{1}},\partial_{x_{2}})$ is the horizontal gradient operator. Besides, we also consider the anisotropic regularity criterion for the weak solution of Navier-Stokes equations in $\mathbb{R}^3$. Finally, we also get a further regularity criterion, when give the sufficient condition on $\partial_3u_3$.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the partial regularity of the solutions for the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations. We first prove a criterion of local Hölder continuous of the suitable weak solutions of the Boussinesq equations, and show that one-dimensional Hausdorff measure of the singular point set is zero. Secondly, we present a local uniform gradient estimate on the suitable weak solutions and assert that the local behavior of the solution can be dominated by some scaled quantities, such as the scaled local L3-norm of the velocity. Besides, when the initial data v0 and θ0 decay sufficiently rapidly at ∞, the distribution of the regular point set of the suitable weak solutions is also considered. Based on it, one can find that MHD equations are more similar to Navier–Stokes equations than Boussinesq equations. Finally, we give a local regularity criterion of the suitable weak solutions near the boundary.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the 3D Navier-Stokes equations in the whole space. We investigate some new inequalities and a priori estimates to provide the critical regularity criteria in terms of one directional derivative of the velocity field, namely, partial differential 3u is an element of Lp((0,T);Lq(Double-struck capital R3)), 2p+3q=2, 32<q <= 6. Moreover, we extend the range of q while the solution is axisymmetric, that is, the axisymmetric solution u is regular in (0, T], if partial differential 3u3 is an element of Lp((0,T);Lq(Double-struck capital R3)), 2p+3q=2, 32<q<infinity.

Abstract:We consider the regularity of weak solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations in R-3. Let u be a weak solution in R-3 x (0, T), w = curl u, and w = (w(1), w(2), 0). It is proved that u becomes a classical solution if w epsilon L-q (0, T; B-r(0)sigma), for 2/q + 3/r = 2, 3/2 < r <= infinity, and sigma <= 2r/3. Abstract:In this paper,we review some recent work on the Cauchy problem of the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in recent years.It is well known that the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes system has the global Leray-Hopf weak solutions.When the weak solution satisfies the ProdiSerrin condition,the solution is regular.We obtain some new results in the regularity conditions.Especially,for axisymmetric system,when the rotation speed is zero,it is well known that the system is globally well-posed.We find a new conserved quantity,and obtain some new advances in the regularity conditions of axisymmetric solutions with nonzero swirl,also get the global well-posedness results with the small initial rotating speed.Furthermore,we also get the similar result for the inhomogeneous system.In the end,we consider the global well-posedness of a class of generalized Navier-Stokes systems with the higher order horizontal viscosity D2αh,α≥4/3.

Abstract:We consider the regularity of axisymmetric weak solutions to the Navier–Stokes equations in R3. Let u be an axisymmetric weak solution in R3×(0,T), w=curlu, and wθ be the azimuthal component of w in the cylindrical coordinates. Chae–Lee [D. Chae, J. Lee, On the regularity of axisymmetric solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations, Math. Z. 239 (2002) 645–671] proved the regularity of weak solutions under the condition wθ∈Lq(0,T;Lr), with 32<r<∞, 2q+3r⩽2. We deal with the marginal case r=∞ which they excluded. It is proved that u becomes a regular solution if wθ∈L1(0,T;B˙∞,∞0).

Abstract:We establish some interior regularity criteria for suitable weak solutions of the 3-D Navier-Stokes equations which allow the vertical part of the velocity to be large under the local scaling invariant norm. As an application, we improve Ladyzhenskaya-Prodi-Serrin’s criterion and Escauriza-Seregin-Šverák’s criterion. We also show that if a weak solution u satisfies u( · ,t)_L^p ⩽ C( - t)^(3 - p)/2p for some 3 < p < ∞, then the number of singular points is finite.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the three-dimensional axisymmetric NavierStokes system with nonzero swirl. By establishing a new key inequality for the pair (omega(r)/r, omega(theta)/r), we get several Prodi-Serrin type regularity criteria based on the angular velocity, u(theta). Moreover, we obtain the global well-posedness result if the initial angular velocity u(0)(theta) is appropriate small in the critical space L-3 (R-3). Furthermore, we also get several Prodi-Serrin type regularity criteria based on one component of the solutions, say omega(3) or u(3).

Abstract:Consider an axis-symmetric suitable weak solution of 3D incompressible Navier-Stokes equation with nontrivial swirl. If the solution satisfies a slightly supercritical assumption, we will prove that v is regular. This extends the results of Chen-Strain-Tsai-Yau, Koch-Nadirashvili-Seregin-Sverak and Lei-Zhang where regularities under critical assumptions were proven.

Abstract:Given an initial data $v_0$ with vorticity $\Om_0=\na\times v_0$ in $L^{\frac 3 2},$ (which implies that $v_0$ belongs to the Sobolev space $H^{\frac12}$), we prove that the solution $v$ given by the classical Fujita-Kato theorem blows up in a finite time $T^\star$ only if, for any $p$ in $ ]4,6[$ and any unit vector $e$ in $\R^3,$ there holds $ \int_0^{T^\star}\|v(t)\cdot e\|_{\dH^{\f12+\f2p}}^p\,dt=\infty.$ We remark that all these quantities are scaling invariant under the scaling transformation of Navier-Stokes system.

Abstract:By applying the delicate a priori estimates for the equations of (Φ,Γ), which is introduced in the previous work, we obtain some multi-scale regularity criteria of the swirl component u^θ for the 3D axisymmetric Navier-Stokes equations. In particularly, the solution 𝐮 can be continued beyond the time T, provided that u^θ satiesfies u^θ∈ L^p_TL^q_v_vL^q_h,w_h, 2/p+1/q_v+2/q_h≤ 1, 2<q_h≤∞, 1/q_v+2/q_h<1.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the one time-varying component regularity criteria for local strong solution of 3-D Navier-Stokes equations. Precisely, if $\beta(t)$ is a piecewise $H^1$ unit vector from $[0,T] $ to $\Bbb{S}^2$ with finitely many jump discontinuities, we prove that if $\int_0^{T}\|u(t)\cdot \beta(t)\|_{\dot{H}^{\frac32}(\mathbb{R}^3)}^2\,dt<\infty,$ then the solution $u$ can be extended beyond the time $T.$ Compared with the previous results concerning one-component regularity criteria, here the unit vector $\beta(t)$ varies with time variable.

Abstract:In this paper,we first introduce the concept of suitable weak solutions for the inhomogeneous NavierStokes equations.In the case when the initial density is close to a positive constant,by combining local energy inequality,Sobolev embedding,pressure estimate and blow-up analysis,we establish interior regularity criterion of suitable weak solutions.Finally,we show that the 1-D Hausdorff measure of the set of possible singular points of suitable weak solutions vanishes by applying the interior regularity criterion.

Abstract:Smooth solutions to the axially symmetric Navier-Stokes equations obey the following maximum principle: parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, t)parallel to(L infinity) <= parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, 0)parallel to(L infinity). We first prove the global regularity of solutions if parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, 0)parallel to(L infinity) or parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, t)parallel to(L infinity(r <= r0)) is small compared with certain dimensionless quantity of the initial data. This result improves the one in Zhen Lei and Qi S. Zhang [10]. As a corollary, we also prove the global regularity under the assumption that} vertical bar ru(theta)(r,z,t)vertical bar <= vertical bar ln r vertical bar(-3/2), for all 0 < r <= delta(0) is an element of (0,1/2).
