Abstract:The product test of PCB (printed circuit board), which checks the open circuit, short circuit, line cauterization and so on, is very important. It ensures the product quality and affects the cost of the PCB. A PCB test system integrates the testing point generation, testing-point linking and blueprint generation into one system. This paper deals with the design and implementation of a PCB testing system, especially the key algorithms in the implementation of the automatic testing point linking and the optimization of sequence strings' location. The algorithm of testing point linking cab improve the product quality and speedup the testing point linking process. The optimization algorithm of sequence strings' location can search the interspace of a linking graph automatically.

Abstract:In our information era, keywords are very useful to information retrieval, text clustering and so on. News is always a domain attracting a large amount of attention. However, the majority of news articles come without keywords, and indexing them manually costs highly. Aiming at news articles' characteristics and the resources available, this paper introduces a simple procedure to index keywords based on the scoring system. In the process of indexing, we make use of some relatively mature linguistic techniques and tools to filter those meaningless candidate items. Furthermore, according to the hierarchical relations of content words, keywords are not restricted to extracting from text. These methods have improved our system a lot. At last experimental results are given and analyzed, showing that the quality of extracted keywords are satisfying.

Abstract:Auto-indexing is one of the key techniques of information retrieval based on contents.At present the research on Chinese auto-indexing mainly focuses on automatic segmentation which is a predisposal problem.This paper presents a kind of Chinese characters coding method on words platform,and establishes a new Chinese text format in computer which makes words the smallest information unit.Based on this method,auto-indexing does not rely on segmentation as before.Thereby the efficiency and quality of auto-indexing would be improved.

Abstract:Using h-index as a reference to study reader's reading tendency,and the data of books in circulation as samples,this paper calculates the h indexes of different sorts of books,and based on the indexes obtained to make a research on the readers' reading tendency. The outcome of the research shows that the application of h- index method is of great use in analyzing and assessing the distributions and values of books of different subjects,thus it can provide a theoretical basis for the optimization of the information collection of libraries.

Abstract:Indexes are vital to enhance the lookup on single or multiple columns, and building proper indexes can significantly improve the database performance. Existing works focus on adding new indexes that can benefit the read queries, but they have several limitations. First, real-world workloads may have numerous queries and it is tricky to analyze their index requirements and find the most beneficial indexes within resource limit. Second, they fail to consider the update of existing indexes, which may be redundant or even have negative effects to current workload. Third, they cannot estimate the index maintenance costs, which are affected by multiple index utilization factors and can significantly affect the index benefits, especially for high-write-ratio workloads. To address those challenges, we propose an incremental index management system Autoindex for dynamic workloads. First, to support incremental index management, we map the incoming queries into query templates and efficiently generate promising candidate indexes from matched templates. And then we propose to utilize Monte Carlo Tree Search to incrementally add indexes from the candidate indexes or remove indexes from existing indexes, so as to ensure high workload performance. Besides, we propose a deep index estimation model, which integrates the practical experience to extract critical cost features and applies deep regression to estimate index benefits from historical index management data. We have implemented the modules like candidate index generation and index estimator in an open-sourced database system openGauss. Experimental re-sults showed that our method outperformed existing approaches on both testing and real-world workloads.

Abstract:Manual subject indexing in libraries is a time-consuming and costly process and the quality of the assigned subjects is affected by the cataloguer's knowledge on the specific topics contained in the book. Trying to solve these issues, we exploited the opportunities arising from artificial intelligence to develop Kratt: a prototype of an automatic subject indexing tool. Kratt is able to subject index a book independent of its extent and genre with a set of keywords present in the Estonian Subject Thesaurus. It takes Kratt approximately 1 minute to subject index a book, outperforming humans 10-15 times. Although the resulting keywords were not considered satisfactory by the cataloguers, the ratings of a small sample of regular library users showed more promise. We also argue that the results can be enhanced by including a bigger corpus for training the model and applying more careful preprocessing techniques.

Back-of-the-Book Index Automation for Arabic Documents

Abstract:Back-of-the-book indexes are crucial for book readability. Their manual creation is laborious and error prone. In this paper, we consider automating back-of-the-book index extraction for Arabic books to help simplify both the creation and review tasks. Given a back-of-the-book index, we aim to check and identify the accurate occurrences of index terms relative to the associated pages. To achieve this, we first define a pool of candidates for each term by extracting all possible noun phrases from paragraphs appearing on the relevant index pages. These noun phrases, identified through part-of-speech analysis, are stored in a vector database for efficient retrieval. We use several metrics, including exact matches, lexical similarity, and semantic similarity, to determine the most appropriate occurrence. The candidate with the highest score based on these metrics is chosen as the occurrence of the term. We fine-tuned a heuristic method, that considers the above metrics and that achieves an F1-score of .966 (precision=.966, recall=.966). These excellent results open the door for future work related to automation of back-of-the-book index generation and checking.

Abstract:SWOT analysis is a classical analysis tool of competitive intelligence. The affect depends on whether all internal and external factors were analyzed. The construction of index system of SWOT analysis requires a lot of human resource. To resolve this issue, a method for computer aided index system establishment of SWOT analysis is proposed. This method can be automated extract and classify the key words. And the index system of SWOT analysis is generated by words classified information contained in words categories. In addition, the method can generate suggestions of indexes' weight according to the amount, frequency and timing of key words contained in their classes.
ObjectBook Construction for Large-Scale Semantic-Aware Image Retrieval

Abstract:Automatic image annotation assigns semantic labels to images thus presents great potential to achieve semantic-aware image retrieval. However, existing annotation algorithms are not scalable to this emerging need, both in terms of computational efficiency and the number of tags they can deal with. Facilitated by recent development of the large-scale image category recognition data such as ImageNet, we extrapolate from it a model for scalable image annotation and semantic-aware image retrieval, namely ObjectBook. The element in the ObjectBook, which is called an ObjectWord, is defined as a collection of discriminative image patches annotated with the corresponding objects. We take ObjectBook as a high-level semantic preserving visual vocabulary, and hence are able to easily develop efficient image annotation and inverted file indexing strategies for large-scale image collections. The proposed retrieval strategy is compared with state-of-the-art algorithms. Experimental results manifest that the ObjectBook is both discriminative and scalable for large-scale semantic-aware image retrieval.

Abstract:A new information retrieval approach Zero-Keyword Information Inquiry was introduced, and based on which, an intelligent Internet information service system-Bookmark was developed. The system adopts HTTP protocol to search the information on Internet automatically, then the information sorter classifies the information of different types into proper class and loads them in to the information database. The system can analyze users' records to get their interests, and the information filter of the system then check the information database to find out what fits the needs of the user who puts forward an information recommendation request. The information evaluator of the system optimizes the system according to the user's evaluation on the recommended information. The operation results show that Bookmark does have the functions of information recording, information recommendation and information share.

Abstract:In response to the limitations of question types and difficulties of automatic scoring, a method of scoring subjective questions automatically in the computer exams is proposed, and then it is implemented. In general, the meth-ods of solving a certain subjective question are only a few, and their ideas and processes are relatively common and fixed. Our method is to evaluate the idea of solving subjective questions, not to evaluate the process of solving subjective questions, that is, to evaluate the application orders or relationships of relevant knowledge points or operations, including the definitions, formulas, theorems, inferences, lemmas, laws, etc., and their application orders using in the solution process of calculation or proof questions. They have already been numbered when setting the subjective questions. Their contents are displayed according to human habits on the system interface, and their numbers are used during the process of the storages and scoring in the com-puters. This method can change the current form of the computer examination and scoring. It can achieve high effi-ciency with low cost, reducing manual labor intensity. In addition, the scoring of subjective questions will become fairer and more transparent.

Abstract:Based on the principle of differential indexing,the authors put forward an indexing method which indexing angle can reach as fine as 2″,and optimized the structure of the precise indexing table.Besides,the process of translocation lapping of end-tooth plate is reported,and the indexing accuracy is analyzed.Moreover,in order to calculate and detect the rotated tooth number of the end-tooth plate easily,and make the indexing table capable to be used conveniently,a circuit of single-chip microcomputer system combined with photoelectric breaker is designed,and its program has also been written out.

Abstract:In document retrieval, high retrieval precision and speed can hardly be achieved simultaneously. A fast keyword spotting method for handwritten Chinese documents is proposed. By this method, keyword spotting is accelerated with accuracy preserved. Firstly, compressed index files are generated from the candidate segmentation recognition lattice of text lines recognition, then keywords are retrieved from the index files. Experimental results on the handwritten Chinese documents database CASIA-HWDB demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Moreover, it reduces the size of index and the retrieval time.

Abstract:Intelligent automatic platform for compilation of engineering practice textbooks in college based on deep big data intelligent retrieval algorithm is designed in this study. The main reason why there is such a big contrast between the agenda setting effect of traditional media agenda network, social media agenda network and public agenda network at the semantic network level and the agenda setting effect at the potential semantic network level is that the network agenda setting effect is measured according to the explicit semantic network. With this basic model, this paper uses the word vector to achieve the intelligent retrieval algorithm. This method is suitable for cross-language tasks with large language gaps. The distribution of the words of different languages in the vector space is quite different, and multiple matrices are required for fine-grained mapping. Then, the novel platform is implemented with thew integration of the robustness testing.

This paper presents a mthod, by which the author's unit can be extracted and generated automatically based on the author's information, such as unit name, city name and post codes. Also, an eBook for a Chinese academic proceeding is implemented.
