A Multi-Center Analysis on College Students' Classroom Learning State Based on the Survey of Frequency of Library Use at Different Types of Universities

Abstract:The library is one of the most important factors that affect the quality of teaching in universities, and it plays an important role in improving college students'comprehensive quality,especially the ability of self-learning and innovation.To understand the differences and the influence factors in the use of library of some different kinds of universities,the Educational Statistics and Management Branch of Chinese Association for Ap-plied Statistics organized a multi -center survey on college students'classroom learning state in late 2010. Quantitative methods are applied to discuss the factors and the influences.The results show that there are com-mon factors among all the universities,and course plan and academic ability are the most important factors. Meanwhile,there are some unique factors,such as political status,monthly expenses,etc.Finally,universities can take certain measures according to the results to guide the students to make the best use of the libraries.
