Abstract:Marx's theory of world history is capable of profoundly revealing the actual process of transformation from national history to world history,exposing the fundamental law with which the law of the market and the logic of capital can profoundly change the modern world as the basic principle for development and dynamic mechanism.Creative interpretation of the profound historical changes ongoing in contemporary China requires us to exert the spiritual traditions of Marx's critique of modernity,to maintain the life force of modern civilization in its own development,and to maximize the political advantage and universal authority of the state force.We shall also contain the conflicts and disputes between capital and labor,civilization and nature,build the institutional system for protection of property rights,the rule of law,and freedom,control the dual logics of criticism and construction,and maintain the inherent tension of history and ethics.This is a basic enterprise to promote the development of China's path.Marx's theory of world history provides us a basic and living philosophical paradigm and interpretative framework to understand and study China's path centered around the inherent unity of rules of market,the logic of capital,and the expression of the property rights.
