Abstract:In this article,we investigate some properties of internal Heyting algebra objects in a topos.By the method of adjoint in category,we prove that an internal Heyting algebra object is an internal distributive lattice.

Abstract:A difficult question arising in the study of effect algebras is how to equip them with a fitting and proper topology such that the topology is compatible with the partial operations ⊕ and Θ. As we know, the Frink ideal topology is an important intrinsic topology for studying partially ordered set theory; in particular, it is the correct topology for chains and direct products of a finite number of chains. In this paper, we show that the Frink ideal topology is also a nice topology for studying effect-algebra theory since it provides the operations with some of the expected continuity properties.

Abstract:Let (E,⊥,⊕,0,1) be a lattice effect algebra and τi its interval topology. In this work we show that if the operation ⊕ is continuous with respect to τi, then τi is Hausdorff. In addition, we also show that if (E,⊥,⊕,0,1) is a complete MV-effect algebra and τi is a Hausdorff topology, then the operations ⊕, ⊖, ∨ and ∧ are τi continuous.

Abstract:The famous Antosik-Mikusinski convergent theorem on the Abel topological groups has very extensive applications in measure theory, summation theory and other analysis fields. In this paper, we establish the theorem on a class of effect algebras equipped with the ideal topology. This paper shows also that the ideal topology of effect algebras is a useful topology in studying the quantum logic theory.

Abstract:-algebra is a natural generalization of Heyting algebra, unifying many algebraic structures including bounded lattices, Heyting algebras, temporal Heyting algebras and the algebraic presentation of the dynamic topological systems. In a series of two papers, we will systematically study the algebro-topological properties of different varieties of -algebras. In the present paper, we start with investigating the structure of these varieties by characterizing their subdirectly irreducible and simple elements. Then, we prove the closure of these varieties under the Dedekind-MacNeille completion and provide the canonical construction and the Kripke representation for -algebras by which we establish the amalgamation property for some varieties of -algebras. In the sequel of the present paper, we will complete the study by covering the logics of these varieties and their corresponding Priestley-Esakia and spectral duality theories.

Abstract:In this note we generalize the construction, due to Ghilardi, of the free Heyting algebra generated by a finite distributive lattice, to the case of arbitrary distributive lattices. Categorically, this provides an explicit construction of a left adjoint to the inclusion of Heyting algebras in the category of distributive lattices This is shown to have several applications, both old and new, in the study of Heyting algebras: (1) it allows a more concrete description of colimits of Heyting algebras, as well as, via duality theory, limits of Esakia spaces, by knowing their description over distributive lattices and Priestley spaces; (2) It allows a direct proof of the amalgamation property for Heyting algebras, and of related facts; (3) it allows a proof of the fact that the category of Heyting algebras is co-distributive. We also study some generalizations and variations of this construction to different settings. First, we analyse some subvarieties of Heyting algebras -- such as Boolean algebras, $\mathsf{KC}$ and $\mathsf{LC}$ algebras, and show how the construction can be adapted to this setting. Second, we study the relationship between the category of image-finite posets with p-morphisms and the category of posets with monotone maps, showing that a variation of the above ideas provides us with an appropriate general idea.

Abstract:We develop the theory of topoi internal to an arbitrary $\infty$-topos $\mathcal B$. We provide several characterisations of these, including an internal analogue of Lurie's characterisation of $\infty$-topoi, but also a description in terms of the underlying sheaves of $\infty$-categories, and we prove a number of structural results about these objects. Furthermore, we show that the $\infty$-category of topoi internal to $\mathcal B$ is equivalent to the $\infty$-category of $\infty$-topoi over $\mathcal B$, and use this result to derive a formula for the pullback of $\infty$-topoi. Lastly, we use our theory to relate smooth geometric morphisms of $\infty$-topoi to internal locally contractible topoi.

Abstract:The authors introduce the concepts of subsystems, open subsystems and closed subsystems of a topological system, and show that any subsystem D of a topological system E is a regular subobject in the category of topological systems. Moreover, they prove that the set S (D) of all subsystems of a topological system D is a complete Heyting algebra.

Abstract:With quantaloids carefully constructed from multi-adjoint frames, it is shown that multi-adjoint concept lattices, multi-adjoint property-oriented concept lattices and multi-adjoint object-oriented concept lattices are derivable from Isbell adjunctions, Kan adjunctions and dual Kan adjunctions between quantaloid-enriched categories, respectively.

Abstract:The aim of this article is to study certain categorical-algebraic frameworks for basic homological algebra, introduced in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2404.15896" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2404.15896">arXiv:2404.15896</a>, with the aim of better understanding the differences between them. We focus on homological self-duality, preservation of normal maps by dinversion and diexactness, finding counterexamples that separate any two of these conditions. On the way, we encounter new examples and new characterizations, such as the Second Isomorphism Property. We also consider homological self-duality in the context of regular categories. Our main technique is to investigate the lattice of normal subobjects of an object in any pointed category with kernels and cokernels. The category of monoidal semilattices is a context where we have easy control of these lattices. We show that properties of the homological frameworks under consideration may be expressed by means of lattice-theoretical properties, such as modularity and distributivity.

Abstract:We define a new topos, the Herbrand topos, inspired by the modified realizability topos and our earlier work on Herbrand realizability. We also introduce the category of Herbrand assemblies and characterise these as the double-negation-separated objects in the Herbrand topos. In addition, we show that the category of sets is included as the category of double-negation-sheaves and prove that the inclusion functor preserves and reflects validity of first-order formulas.

Assume [math] is an Oppermann–Thomas cluster tilting object in [math] and [math] is an auto-equivalence of [math]. Let [math]. We investigate some classes of [math]-stable [math]-rigid objects in [math], prove that the stability of [math]-rigid objects can be transferred to some pairs for [math], and we obtain a new higher version of the Adachi–Iyama–Reiten bijection. As applications, we generalize the Jacobsen–J[math]rgensen bijection to the general case (not necessarily [math]-Calabi–Yau), and we recover a work due to Yang, Zhang and Zhu.

Abstract:We determine sufficient structure for an elementary topos to emulate Nelson's Internal Set Theory in its internal language, and show that any topos satisfying the internal axiom of choice occurs as a universe of standard objects and maps. This development allows one to employ the proof methods of nonstandard analysis (transfer, standardisation, and idealisation) in new environments such as toposes of G -sets and Boolean étendues.
