Understanding of Complex Engineering Tables for Automatic 3D Modeling

Abstract:Tables are compact and efficient to list or represent complex objects. Due to differences between tables in engineering drawings and other documents, series of new problems need to be considered. In this paper, we propose a Progressively-Normalized Cell Integration (PNCI) method to recognize and understand engineering tables.
