Abstract:This paper aims to trace the influences of Hegel’s philosophical thoughts and ideas on the architecture design studios’ activities. Hegel is a key figure in the modern history of philosophy that lived in the time of establishing Beaux Art on the skeleton of Academie d’Architecture. Despite the many developments in different areas of education, seemingly, there are still some common grounds between Hegelian philosophy and architecture design studio activities that need to be highlighted and criticized. Content analysis and storytelling based on the structured observation applied in this research to compare two foundations. The results reveal four connections between Hegelian philosophy and architecture design studio activities, including precedents studies and historical dialectic, learning by doing and self-consciousness, crits (critiques) and idealism, and master-apprentice and master-slave theories, respectively. The findings highlight that activities in architecture design studios regenerate through studios, which run based on traditions, disciplines, and styles under the influences of Hegel’s philosophy. In conclusion, while Hegelian thoughts spread through successor philosophers in phenomenology, hermeneutics, existentialism, Marxism, and structuralism, education in architecture design studios has continued without the regeneration of ideas.

Abstract:Heidegger thinks that the ancient Greek philosophy is the source of modern science , yet the cognizing method ap-peared in modern science as subject and object duality does not cognize the thing itself .Heidegger believes that modern science has actually become technology whose essence is a framework ( Ge-stell) , all people and things turn to be the technically processable ob-jects under the Ge-stell.Heidegger points out that technology in ancient Greece contains the meaning of art , and one kind of non-object dichotomy way still retains in art .Heidegger hopes to spread the called poetic way onto all persons and things , and to get back to thing itself, so that people can poetically dwell on the earth.

Abstract:In order to find a way to combine traditional culture with modern living needs, taking “Chinese painting” as the breakthrough point, through the study of the development process and artistic characteristics of Chinese painting, four aspects of classical philosophy, natural landscape image, brush and ink composition artistic conception, and abstract aesthetic conception contained in Chinese painting are summed up. The results of the study provide enlightenment for contemporary residential landscape design, and summarize the methods of creating Chinese paintings in residential landscape design. Thus, a residential landscape model with the characteristics of “Chinese painting” is found out.

To bear positive community activities and to develop aesthetic judgment for the residents, homeland imagery design should be studied to satisfy their feelings and fulfill their vision of homeland, which can be informed by the residential landscape. Based on the designing mode of the imagery entity extraction from Tang poetry, this article explores design principle and design method of the homeland imagery for residential landscape environment. Abstract:Recent social trends - the diversification of lifestyles, and revitalization of the sharing economy - has led to significant changes in the fundamental functions and residences, particularly in apartments. Therefore, this study aims to define an optimized residential space by analyzing housing forms and lifestyle change factors. The study further categorizes the characteristics and operation system in an integrated living space including the integrated experience design characteristics and organization system for service content development and operation. The study scope and methods to classify the characteristics and systems of integrated experience design in integrated housing are as follows: First, the characteristics of changes in housing forms and lifestyles were defined through literature and previous research. Second, in-depth interviews were conducted, and the study direction was established using the analyzed factors of space experience design. Third, the structure concept of living platforms and the systems for implementing experience design were classified using the actualized space experience design characteristics. This study focuses on the basic concepts and systems for implementing integrated experiences in residences. Subsequently, it approaches the direction and systems for changes in housing as a unified platform. This study provides a framework that can be theorized using the experience design system for living spaces derived from its results.

Abstract:Though seldom using the concept of modernity, Heidegger is one of the great thinkers who has thought deep about the problem of modernity. Heidegger believed, it was the metaphysics Descartes created that laid the foundation for modernity which has the key expressions as follows: "man becomes the subject", "the world becomes picture" and "philosophy becomes anthropology". Heidegger reveals that only when one reflects on modern metaphysics deep and goes beyond the context of modernity can one deepen the modernity critique.

Abstract:The influence of Husserl's phenomenology on the aftertime,including on the thought of architecture,mainly lies in the aspect of method.The influence exerted by the method of Husserl's phenomenology can be generally summarized in four aspects as the following:1) descriptive anaiysis in the sight of reflection;2) emphasizing on directness;3)phenomenological reduction;4)seeing the essence.However,Husserl's phenomenology is also connected with architecture in the aspect of content,which is inevitably caused by carrying out of the phenomenological method. What the phenomenology of architecture should engage in is the phenomenological description and analysis of human beings' architectural activities.It means that the phenomenology of architecture is not a kind of architectonic,but rather a research of one's own architectural behavior.
