Abstract:Objective To understand the knowledge level of infectious disease of residents and its influencing factors in urban and rural areas of Lanzhou and provide scientific data for health education policy making.Methods The residents who were older than 15 in the district selected from Lanzhou were surveyed by the questionnaire(self-designed) and non-condition Logistic regression was executed to analyze the influencing factors of the knowledge about infectious disease.Results The knowledge level about the infectious disease of unban residents were higher than the rural residents.The knowledge level about HIV/AIDS was higher than other infectious diease.The urban and rural difference,age,education level,occupation were the influencing factors of the knowledge level.Conclusions The health education about the knowledge of infectious disease should be strengthened.More attention should be paid to the residents in rural areas,the people whose education level were low and the peasant-workers.
