Status Analysis for Knowledge of Infectious Disease and Health Behavior in City Residents

Abstract:Objective To understand the awareness of infectious disease control knowledge and the formation rate of health behavior in city residents, and to provide the basis for the health education and health promotion. Methods Using stratified random sampling method, 500 people in 5 kinds of crowd were selected randomly. 1000 copies of questionnaires were completed. Results The rate of infectious disease control knowledge in all the crowds was 92.00％, the rate was between 88.25％-96.00％ in every crowd. There were statistical differences between 5 kinds of crowd( x2 = 44.87, P ＜ 0.01 ). The awareness of key infectious disease control knowledge in all the crowd was 88.00％,the rate was between 83.57％-91.21％ in each crowd. There were statistical differences between 5 kinds of crowd( x2 =63.49, P ＜0.01). The formation rate of health behavior in city residents was 76.40％, the rate was lower in floating population, the frequency of weekly exercise in each crowd was low. Conclusions The awareness of health knowledge and the formation rate of health behavior are high. In the work of health education, floating population are still the key crowd.
