Abstract:Objective:To understand the awareness condition of rural women aged 30~59 years old for prevention and treatment knowledge of gynecological tumors in Jing'an county,Jiangxi.Methods:Cluster sampling was used to survey the awareness rate of prevention and treatment knowledge of gynecological tumors among rural women from 3 towns in Jing'an county of Jiangxi from May to August in 2006 and from May to August in 2007.Results:The awareness rate of main symptoms of main tumors and cancers and preventive measures among rural women in Jing'an county of Jiangxi was high;the awareness rates of rural women aged 30~44 years old and with senior high school educational level or above were higher than those of rural women aged 45~59 years old and with junior middle school educational level or below(P<0.01).Conclusion:The development of prevention and treatment of cervical carcinoma in Jing'an county of Jiangxi improves the awareness rate of prevention and treatment knowledge of gynecological tumors,but for the rural women aged 45~59 years old and with junior middle school educational level or below,the propagandism should be strengthened.
