Abstract:By using an inequality of M-Z random variables, Rosenthal type inequality is obtained for ρ~-mixing sequence.On the other hand,the properties of ρ~-mixing sequence,such as the law of large strong number,three series and almost sure convergence are discussed.

Abstract:We establish strong invariance principles for sums of stationary ρ-mixing random variables with finite and infinite second moments under weaker mixing rates.Some earlier results are improved.As applications,some results of the law of the iterated logarithm with finite and infinite variance are obtained,also a conjecture raised by Shao in 1993 is solved.

Abstract:An almost sure central limit theorem is established for ρ~(-)-|mixing sequence, which generalizes and improves the main result of Brosamler, the almost sure central limit theorem is obtained for NA sequence as a special case. The results obtained are close to those for an independent sequence provided that the mixing coefficients tend to zero rapidly enough.

Abstract:Abstract We give here an almost sure central limit theorem for self-normalized partial sums of a strictly stationary φ-mixing sequences which is in the domain of attraction of the normal law with mean zero and possibly infinite variance. Abstract:In this paper, we investigate some convergence properties, such as complete convergence, complete moment convergence, complete f-moment convergence and strong law of large numbers, for partial sums of randomly weighted sums of ρ-mixing sequences by using the moment inequality, which extend and improve the corresponding ones in the literature. As applications, we obtain the complete consistency for the randomly weighted estimator in a nonparametric regression models and the estimators for the unknown parameters in the simple linear errors-in-variables regression models based on ρ-mixing errors.

Abstract:The sequences { Z i,n , 1≤ i ≤ n }, n ≥1 are multi-nornial distribution among i.i.d. random variables { X , i , i≥1} , { X 2, i, , i≥1} ,…, { X m,i ≥1} . The extreme value distribution G x (x) of this particular triangular array of i.i.d. random variables Z 1, n , Z 2, n ,…, Z n,n is discussed. A new type of not max-stable extreme value distributions which are Fréchet mixture, Gumbel mixture and Weibull mixture has been found if F j , …,F m belong to the same MDA. Whether mixtures of different types of extreme value distributions exist or not and the more general case are discussed in this paper. We found that G Z ( x ) does not exist as mixture forms of the different types of extreme value distributions, after we investigated all cases.

Abstract:Classical Kolmogorov's and Rosenthal's inequalities for the maximum partial sums of random variables are basic tools for studying the strong laws of large numbers. In this paper, motived by the notion of independent and identically distributed random variables under the sub-linear expectation initiated by Peng (2008), we introduce the concept of negative dependence of random variables and establish Kolmogorov's and Rosenthal's inequalities for the maximum partial sums of negatively dependent random variables under the sub-linear expectations. As an application, we show that Kolmogorov's strong law of larger numbers holds for independent and identically distributed random variables under a continuous sub-linear expectation if and only if the corresponding Choquet integral is finite.

Abstract:In this paper, a notion of negative side ϱ-mixing (ϱ −-mixing) which can be regarded as asymptotic negative association is defined, and some Rosenthal type inequalities for ϱ −-mixing random fields are established. The complete convergence and almost sure summability on the convergence rates with respect to the strong law of large numbers are also discussed for ϱ −-mixing random fields. The results obtained extend those for negatively associated sequences and ϱ * random fields.
