Abstract:We study a class of special strongly rpp semigroups, namely, the class of super rpp semigroups. These super rpp semigroups are generalizations of both superabundant semigroups and Clifford semigroups within the class of rpp semigroups. In particular, we prove that a super rpp semigroup is a semilattice of D (l)-simple strongly rpp semigroups. Our result not only generalizes a well-known theorem of Clifford in the class of completely regular semigroups but also strengthens some structure theorems obtained by Ren-Shum for superabundant semigroups which are orthodox. Some special super rpp semigroups are considered and discussed.

An rpp semigroup S is said to be strongly rpp if for any a ∈ S, there exists a unique idempotent e such that eL*a and a = ea. In this paper, we show that a D(ℓ)-simple strongly rpp semigroup can be expressed by a Rees matrix semigroup over a left cancellative monoid and conversely. Our result generalizes the classical theorem of Rees in 1940 and also amplifies the Rees theorem in semigroup given by Lallement and Petrich in 1969. © 2008 World Scientific Publishing Company.

Abstract:In this paper,a special kind of partial algebras called projective partial groupoids is defined.It is proved that the inverse image of all projections of a fundamental weak regular * -semigroup underthe homomorphism induced by the maximum idempotent-separating congruence of a weak regular * -semigroup has a projective partial groupoid structure.Moreover,a weak regular * -product whichconnects a fundamental weak regular * -semigroup with corresponding projective partial groupoid isdefined and characterized.It is finally proved that every weak regular * -product is in fact a weakregular * -semigroup and any weak regular * -semigroup is constructed in this way.

Abstract:Here we introduce the notion of (left, right) $\pi$-$t$-simple, right $\pi$-inverse ordered semigroups and discuss characterizations and relationships concerning them. Semilattice decomposition of left $\pi$-$t$-simple ordered semigroups has been given here. Furthermore, we study an interrelation between the generalized Green's relations and the class of semigroups which are semilattices of right $\pi$-$t$-simple ordered semigroups.

Abstract:This study delves into the structure and properties of left inverse zero divisor bands within semigroups, identifying their maximal forms and broadening the theoretical landscape of semigroup analysis. A significant focus is placed on the automorphisms of a semigroup S of centralizers of idempotent transformations with restricted range, revealing that these automorphisms are inner ones and induced by the units of S. Additionally, we establish that the automorphism group Aut(S) is isomorphic to US, the group of units of S. These findings extend previous results on semigroups of transformations, enhancing their applicability and providing a more unified theory. The practical implications of this work span multiple fields, including automata theory, coding theory, cryptography, and graph theory, offering tools for more efficient algorithms and models. By simplifying complex concepts and providing a solid foundation for future research, this study makes significant contributions to both theoretical and applied mathematics.

Abstract:We call a semigroup $\mathcal{R}$-noetherian if it satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal right ideals, or, equivalently, the ascending chain condition on $\mathcal{R}$-classes. We investigate the behaviour of the property of being $\mathcal{R}$-noetherian under the following standard semigroup-theoretic constructions: semidirect products, Schützenberger products, free products, Rees matrix semigroups, Brandt extensions, Bruck-Reilly extensions and semilattices of semigroups.

We prove that for a finite semigroup S the direct product contains only countably many subdirect products (up to isomorphism) if and only if S is regular. Abstract:Let $\mathbb{Z}$ be the additive (semi)group of integers. Abstract:We study some relations between left cancellative left semi-braces and other existing algebraic structures. In particular, we show that every left semi-brace arises from a left seminear-ring, extending the correspondence given by Rump between skew left braces and left near-rings in \cite{rump2019set}. Moreover, we show a correspondence between certain groups semidirect products and left cancellative left semi-braces satisfying an additional hypothesis on the set of idempotents. As an application, we classify left cancellative left semi-braces of size $pq$ and $2p^2$ such that the set of idempotents $E$ is a Sylow subgroup of the multiplicative group. Finally, we study various type of nilpotency, recently introduced in \cite{catino2022nilpotency}, of these left semi-braces.

Abstract:A ring R is called a right WPF-ring (weak PF-ring) if R is a serniperfect right simple-injective ring with essential right socle. The class of right WPF-rings is broader than that of right PF-rings. In this article, we study and provide several characterizations of this new class of rings. We also show that if R is a left perfect, left and right f-injective ring, then R is QF if and only if Soc(2)(R) is a finitely generated right R-module if and only if R/Soc(R) is a finitely cogenerated left R-module. Some known results are obtained as corollaries.

Abstract:Given a monoid $S$ with $E$ any non-empty subset of its idempotents, we present a novel one-sided version of idempotent completion we call left $E$-completion. In general, the construction yields a one-sided variant of a small category called a constellation by Gould and Hollings. Under certain conditions, this constellation is inductive, meaning that its partial multiplication may be extended to give a left restriction semigroup, a type of unary semigroup whose unary operation models domain. We study the properties of those pairs $S,E$ for which this happens, and characterise those left restriction semigroups that arise as such left $E$-completions of their submonoid of elements having domain $1$. As first applications, we decompose the left restriction semigroup of partial functions on the set $X$ and the right restriction semigroup of left total partitions on $X$ as left and right $E$-completions respectively of the transformation semigroup $T_X$ on $X$, and decompose the left restriction semigroup of binary relations on $X$ under demonic composition as a left $E$-completion of the left-total binary relations. In many cases, including these three examples, the construction embeds in a semigroup Zappa-Szép product.

Abstract:This article encompasses the study of non-regular semigroups. First, we show that the $\lambda$-semidirect product $M \rtimes^{\lambda} W$ of a left $P$-Ehresmann semigroup $M$ and a left restriction semigroup $W$ is a left $P$-Ehresmann semigroup. We explore the behavior of generalized Green's relations on $M \rtimes^{\lambda} W$, and investigate some properties of $M \rtimes^{\lambda} W$. Second, the Zappa-Szép product of a right Ehresmann semigroup and its distinguished semilattice is studied. Lastly, the theory of representations of left Ehresmann semigroups with zero via homomorphisms of left Ehresmann semigroups with zero into Clifford restriction semigroups with zero is presented.
