Finite element analysis of tire/pavement noise

Abstract:The mechanism of tire/pavement noise was analysed first of all,then finity element was used to simulate the noise in order to study tire/pavement noise.The main pavement factors include porosity,depth of texture,depth of pavement and young's modulus.The correlation between noise and pavement factors was displayed.The result showed that the porosity was the most important factor among the pavement factors,and it had a optimal value.The effect curve leveled off when depth of texture and depth of pavement reached the critical value.The young's modulus did not affect the noise.
