Abstract:Supply chain multilateral negotiation about profit distribution was discussed between one buyer and many suppliers. The rule of multilateral negotiation is that the buyer takes bilateral negotiation with single suppliers in turn. The buyer's two bilateral negotiation strategies are that the buyer represents himself, and that the buyer represents himself and all the suppliers who do not attend bilateral negotiations yet.The ultimately derived profits of the buyer and the suppliers are given when the buyer chooses the two different bilateral negotiation strategies. Moreover,it is shown that if the buyer chooses the first negotiation strategy, the suppliers will be forced to contest the orders of bilateral negotiation with the buyer and finally the buyer gains more profit. However, the ultimate outcome if the buyer choose the first negotiation strategy is based on that the negotiation order fees the suppliers pay to the buyer do not be exposed. If the fees are exposed, the ultimate outcome if the buyer chooses the first negotiation strategy will stabilize to the outcome if the buyer chooses the second strategy, and in this case, the relationship among suppliers is transformed from competition to cooperation.
