Abstract:ABSTRACT:The paper introduces professor He Xiaohui's experience in treating chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).In his view, this disease is caused by deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality,and the basic pathogenesis of CAG is the deficiency of both qi and yin,the dampness and heat in the stomach,and the stasis of the collaterals of the stomach meridian.The site of CAG is stomach,and related closely with spleen,liver,gallbladder and kidney.Following the principle of the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation,he puts forward a three-stage partition method,which is”cure the disease according to the syndrome,treat the disease combined with syndrome,treat the disease without syndrome directly”,advocates the application of balanced method,and creates the medical treatment of the syndrome differentiation”regulating gastritis with eight prescriptions” and the disease differentiation”shuang pu powder”,which can effectively reverse the pathological changes of chronic atrophic gastritis,and prevent the incidence of gastric cancer.

Abstract:Professor Qiao Chenglin is the instructor of the Academic Experiences of National Veteran Experts of Traditional Chinese Medicine and won the title of the Famous Chinese Medicine Physician of Shaanxi Province. He has been engaged in the teaching, scientific research and clinical practice of internal medicine of integrative Chinese and Western medicine for over 40 years and has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney diseases. In the paper, Professor Qiao Chenglin' s experience in the treatment of nephritic syndrome was summarized.Professor Qiao proposed an academic theory called "removing the obstruction with warming method for the water disorders". He believes that the disease is the yang deficiency in the root and the retention of turbidity in the symptom. The turbidity pathogens include cold turbidity, damp turbidity, water turbidity and stasis (blood) turbidity. In the treatment, both the root cause and the symptoms are considered. Based on the theory of"removing the obstruction with warming method for the water disorders", the"warming yang and resolving the turbidity"is the treating principle, and warming the kidney and strengthening the spleen is taken as the chief therapy, assisted by consolidating sperms and resolving the turbidity. Hence, the wenyang huazhuo formula was created. In the paper, components of this formula were analyzed in detail, indicating the unique characteristics on the diagnosis and treatment, as well as the extremely satisfactory clinical effects. In combination with the case analysis, Professor Qiao's experience was explained in the syndrome differentition and the herb composition and provides valuable references to the clinical treatment of chronic kidney diseases.

Abstract:Professor Chao Enxiang is good at treating pulmonary system diseases.He laid great stress on the function of wind pathogen.He used the therapy of dispelling wind and relieving spasm in treating bronchial asthma,proposed the way of dispelling wind and promoting the dispersing function of the lung,as well as relieving spasm and cough for treating variant asthma and urgent COPD cases.Selected the treatment of reinforcing the lung and kidney for chronic COPD cases.He also put forward to use traditional Chinese medical theory of the consumptive lung disease in treating pulmonary interstitial fibrosis,including nourishing Yin and invigoration Qi,reinforcing the lung and kidney as well as dispelling wind and promoting the dispersing function of the lung,relieving cough and asthma,eliminating stasis and promoting blood circulation.

Abstract:Professor LIN Lin's clinical experiences of comprehensive internal and external therapy for asthma was summarized in the paper. According to professor LIN Lin's experiences, asthma was differentiated as cold, heat, wind, stasis and deficiency pattern/syndrome in clinic. Asthma of cold type was treated with Xiao qinglong Decoction and Sanzi Yangqin Decoction combined with cupping, moxibustion, acupuncture and Bian stone therapy. Asthma of heat type was treated with Dingchuan Decoction combined with acupuncture, scraping therapy and moving cupping. Asthma of wind type was treated with Masu Erchen Decoction combined with acupuncture and cupping. Asthma of stasis type was treated with Xue fu Zhuyu Decoction combined with acupuncture, tapping manipulation, moving cupping and Bian stone therapy. Asthma of deficiency type was treated with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction, Shenge Shenqi Pill combined with warming needling therapy, acupoint injection and Bian stone therapy. A medical case was enclosed to explain the diagnosis and treatment idea "seeking the root cause of the disease in treatment" and "strengthening the antipathogenic qi to eliminate pathogenic factors" in the comprehensive internal and external therapy.

Abstract:Through the summarization of the drug usage characteristics and case analysis of Prof. Wu Wei - ping's experiences in the treatment of cough,it was discovered that based on the clinical feature of cough,Prof. Wu believed that the pathogenesis of cough was the upward perversion of lung qi. The treatment was emphasized on promoting qi activity,especially regulating liver and lung qi. In the paper,it was intro-duced that the modified xiaochaihu tang was used extensively in the treatment of cough. For cough due to in-vasion of exogenous pathogens,the treatment was to harmonize qi circulation and eliminating exogenous patho-gens. For cough due to internal injury,the treatment was to regulate qi activity,harmonize qi and blood and prevent from the invasion of pathogens. Xiaochaihu tang is good at regulating qi activity and smoothing liver and gallbladder. The clinical efficacy was significant.

Abstract:Professor ZHANG Shan-chen's clinical experience and academic thoughts in the field of acupuncture are summarized. Professor ZHANG stresses on theoretical exploration and has written Zhenjiu Jiayijing Shuxue Chongji, published a series of articles on textual research and expounded the nomenclature of acupoints. He believes that clinical practice should be guided by theory and the comprehensive syndrome differentiation be emphasized. Hence, a holistic idea should be cultivated, in which, the human body is considered as an organic whole and should be adaptive to the nature. Based on the theory above, the diagnosis can be determined and the effective treatment be received. He suggests selecting few acupoints, identifying the deficiency from the excess so as to determine the reinforcing or replenishing method and exerting appropriate needling manipulation. Additionally, the response should be enhanced on the identification of deqi after needle insertion. Moreover, a great consideration is laid on the clinical trial and application of moxibustion, which is complemented with acupuncture technique each other and mutually conductive to the clinical effect.
