The vital problem for every organization and company is how to survival in fierce competition. That is, how to optimally position its valuable recourses under the double restrictions: limited recourses and limited market space. The strategy of positioning resources decides an enterprise’s long-term competitiveness. So, although mastering opportunity to enter a new market is essential, selecting a right market withdrawal strategy in the right time is also a key. Abstract:The global financial crisis of 2008 has made huge impacts on China's economy.Chinese government set Maintaining Stable Economic Growth as its top priority and target,enacting a series of macro-control measures to stimulate economy growth.In the second quarter of 2009,macro-economic recovery began and it has been improving steadily so far.However,unemployment is still a tough issue:the trend of negative increase of new jobs has not changed,demand for labor is decreasing dramatically,hidden unemployment remains high,and migrant-workers become the major group of corporate downsizing.The realization of securing economic growth could not bring about structure adjustment automatically,and it will aggravate structural problems even worse.As the coefficient of employment elasticity changes consistently,three industries' abilities to increase employment go on further differentiation.Investing fixed assets as the major approach to stimulate economic growth has further strengthened the original structure,resulting in a tense relationship between economic growth and people's livelihood.In order to achieve the coordination and mutual promotion of economic growth and the improvement of people's livelihood,the government should effectively focus on the issues of economic restructuring and updating,employment,social security systems and stimulating domestic consumption.

Abstract:This paper examines the impact of digital transformation on financial distress in A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2021. We find that enterprises digital transformation can significantly alleviate financial distress, and higher economic policy uncertainty will promote the role of enterprises' digital transformation to alleviate financial distress. The mechanism test shows that the digital transformation can alleviate the financial distress mainly by reducing the operational risk and easing the financing constraints. The conclusion is helpful to understand the driving effect of digital transformation on high-quality development of enterprises and evaluate the implementation effect of enterprises' digital transformation.

Abstract:The current financial crisis has been exerting significant impacts on various aspects of China society and necessitating managerial innovation,especially strategy innovation,in Chinese firms.Aiming at filling research gaps concerning competitive strategy and its innovation and based on stakeholder theory and the business environment Chinese firms are now facing,this paper probes into the necessity,connotation and essential mechanisms of Chinese firms' strategy innovation under financial crisis.Specifically,this paper first proposes that an important way for Chinese firms to compete under the financial crisis is to undertake strategy innovation.Then it studies systematically the connotation of strategy innovation and suggests that in new economic environment Chinese firms ought to strategically consider other stakeholders such as government and the public in addition to their shareholders /investors,employees,customers and competitors.After the connotation study,this paper investigates the essential mechanisms of strategy innovation,which means the static match,dynamic adjustment and configurational optimization of business-government relations,corporate social responsibility and traditional economic-market competitive strategy.This paper finally provides constructive suggestions for future research in this field.
