Abstract:Carbon nanotube and Polyaniline(Pani)composite for gas sensing were investigated in this paper.Pani coated multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWNT)was synthesized by means of in-sute polymerization and dielectrophoresis.The nano-composite sensor showed a 3.4 reversible resistance change to 10×10-6 NH3 with a response time of 15 s while the sensitivities of Pani film sensor is 1.9 in the contrast experiment.The results indicate that the nano-composite sensitivity and sensing dynamic are improved due to the nanostructure with ultra-high surface-volume ratio and good conductivity.The mechanism of sensitivity to NH3 of the sensor was also discussed.

Abstract:NH3 gas sensors with good sensing performance including wide detection range at room temperature are highly desirable for a large variety of applications. In this work, multi-walled carbon nanotubes grafted with sodium polystyrenesulfonate (PSSNa-MWCNTs) are prepared via a controlled radical polymerization and show good dispersibility in water. The composite of polypyrrole with PSSNa-MWCNTs (PPy/PSSNa-MWCNT) is prepared by in situ vapor phase polymerization of pyrrole to fabricate NH3 gas sensors. Effects of the content of PSSNa-MWCNTs, the concentration of the oxidant, polymerization time and temperature on the gas sensing properties of the composite are investigated at room temperature. It is revealed that the composite shows much higher response magnitude than the single components. Under optimal conditions, PPy/PSSNa-MWCNT exhibits very wide detection range from 5 to 2000 ppm, and good sensing linearity over 5-20 ppm and 20-100 ppm, respectively. Moreover, the electrical responses of the composite towards NH3 gas are fast (response and recovery time to 1000 ppm NH3 gas are 16.7 s and 143.6 s, respectively), reproducible and highly selective. The interactions between PPy and MWCNTs promote the charge transfer in the composite, leading to good sensing performance and exhibiting a synergetic effect.
PANI/Ti3C2Tx composite nanofiber-based flexible conductometric sensor for the detection of NH3 at room temperature

Abstract:The rational design of sensing materials with distinct morphologies and compositions is important to construct outstanding flexible gas sensors. Herein, a mesh polyaniline (PANI)/Ti3C2Tx composite nanofiber-based flexible sensor was constructed by electrospinning of PANI and few-layer Ti3C2Tx nanosheets. Sensing results indicated that this novel PANI/Ti3C2Tx flexible sensor demonstrated much higher NH3 sensing response (2.3-fold improvement @ 20 ppm) in comparison with the sensor based on pure PANI nanofibers at 25 °C. Under different bending angles (maximum compression of 150°) and different bending times (maximum bending of 3200 times), the PANI/Ti3C2Tx flexible sensor maintained steady sensing behavior towards 20 ppm NH3, which reflected its good flexible bending stability. The PANI/Ti3C2Tx flexible sensor also exhibited good selectivity, repeatability, as well as good long-term stability. The improvement of NH3 sensing properties can be ascribed to the formation of Schottky junctions between PANI and Ti3C2Tx nanosheets, improved protonation degree of PANI, and the special three-dimensional mesh fiber structure. Our work revealed that the PANI/Ti3C2Tx composite nanofibers with interconnected mesh fiber structure have great potential to construct flexible NH3 sensors.

Abstract:Gas sensors have played a critical role in healthcare, atmospheric environmental monitoring, military applications and so on. In particular, flexible sensing devices are of great interest, benefitting from flexibility and wearability. However, developing flexible gas sensors with a high sensitivity, great stability and workability is still challenging. In this work, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were grown on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) films, which were further modified with polyaniline (PANI) using a simple chemical oxidation synthesis. The superior flexibility of the PANI-MWCNTs/PDMS film enabled a stable initial resistance value, even under bending conditions. The flexible sensor showed excellent NH3 sensing performances, including a high response (11.8 ± 0.2 for 40 ppm of NH3) and a low limit of detection (10 ppb) at room temperature. Moreover, the effect of a humid environment on the NH3 sensing performances was investigated. The results show that the response of the sensor is enhanced under high humidity conditions because water molecules can promote the adsorption of NH3 on the PANI-MWCNTs/PDMS films. In addition, the PANI-MWCNTs/PDMS film sensor had the abilities of detecting NH3 in the simulated breath of patients with kidney disease and the freshness of shrimp. These above results reveal the potential application of the PANI-MWCNTs/PDMS sensor for monitoring NH3 in human breath and food.

Abstract:MXenes have recently emerged as innovative 2D materials with potential for gas-sensing applications. In this study, we produced a polypyrrole (PPy)-coated MXene/MoS 2 nanocomposite-based gas sensor for ammonia detection at room temperature. MXene-loaded MoS 2 nanocomposites with loose heterogeneous architectures were produced via a one-step hydrothermal technique based on an electrostatically ordered self-assembly. An etched MXene surface with evenly wrapped MoS 2 nanosheets created a highly synergistic metal–semiconductor-like contact, producing an anti-blocking layer that had a trapping effect on electrons produced via NH 3 sensing. PPy was polymerized in situ on the surface of the MXene/MoS 2 composite, producing a self-supporting structure. The MXene/MoS 2 /PPy nanocomposite-based sensor exhibited response values approximately five times greater than sensors based on pure MXene when exposed to 100 ppm of ammonia at room temperature. Furthermore, the sensor could detect ammonia at concentrations as low as 10 ppm and presented a response of 2.08 at room temperature. The MXene/MoS 2 /PPy nanocomposite-based sensor also demonstrated long-term stability, high response and recovery rates, good humidity tolerance, and high selectivity for ammonia.

Abstract:Fe2O3 nanosheets were in-situ deposited on the interdigitated gold electrodes by hydrothermal treatment of the electrospun nanofibers containing FeCl3 and poly(vinyl butyral). As-prepared electrode was further dip-coated with water-dispersible polyaniline (PANI) to fabricate a resistance gas sensor based on Fe2O3/PANI nanocomposite. The structure and morphology of the nanocomposite were investigated by X-ray diffraction pattern, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. It was found that the nanocomposite sensor exhibited much higher response magnitude towards low concentration of NH3 (0.5-10.7 ppm) than the sensors based on either PANI or Fe2O3 at room temperature (similar to 20 degrees C), indicating an obvious synergetic effect. The nanocomposite sensor was featured with ultra high response magnitude (relative resistance change of similar to 3070% towards 10.7 ppm of NH3) and excellent selectivity towards NH3. A sensing mechanism has been put forward, which takes into account of the conducting network comprising of bulk PANI and composites of PANI and Fe2O3 nanosheets. It was proposed that the pin heterojunction established between Fe2O3 nanosheets and PANI coating played a major role in the highly desirable sensing performance of the composite. Abstract:Gas sensors based on polyaniline (PANI) materials often have some issues of intrinsic poor stability, low sensitivity, and slow response-recovery rate. To solve these issues, the combination of PANI and metal oxide nanoparticles is a common effective strategy. However, the agglomeration of these nanoparticles in the composite is still a major challenge, decreasing NH3 sensing response and stability. Herein, a flexible NH3 sensor based on PANI/Ti3C2TX/TiO2 (PMT) composite was successfully fabricated by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis and in-situ polymerization. The introduced 3D crumpled Ti3C2TX/TiO2 sphere (MT) with TiO2 nanoparticles in-situ uniform growth on the Ti3C2TX effectively prevented nanoparticles agglomeration in PMT. The optimized PMT film sensor displayed outstanding NH3 sensing performance at room temperature, including high response (2.30–10 ppm NH3), low detection limit (20 ppb), good selectivity, and excellent mechanical reliability. The superior sensing properties were attributed to the synergetic effect of unique structure of MT, the improved protonation degree of PANI component, and the formation of heterojunctions. Moreover, the detection of fish spoilage has been realized using this film sensor. The present work provides a new strategy to fabricate high-performance flexible NH3 sensors operated at room temperature, which may hold great promise for application in our daily life.

Abstract:Hollow indium trioxide (In2O3) nanofibers fabricated via an effectively combined method of electrospinning and high-temperature calcination were coated with nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots (N-GQDs) prepared by a hydrothermal process through electrostatic interaction. The N-GQD-coated hollow In2O3 nanofibers served as a core for the synthesis of polyaniline (PANI)/N-GQD/hollow In2O3 nanofiber ternary composites using in situ chemical oxidative polymerization. The chemical structure and morphology of the fabricated ternary composites were characterized using Fourier transform infrared, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. The gas-sensing performances of the ternary composites were estimated by a homemade dynamic test system which was supplied with a real-time resistance acquisition platform at room temperature. The response value of the PANI/N-GQD/hollow In2O3 nanofiber sensor with a loading of 20 wt% N-GQD-coated hollow In2O3 nanofiber and an exposure of 1 ppm NH3 was 15.2, which was approximately more than 4.4 times higher than that of the PANI sensor. This ternary composite sensor was proved to be very sensitive in the detection of NH3 at a range of concentration between 0.6 ppm and 2.0 ppm at room temperature, which is crucial in the detection of hepatic or kidney disease in human breath. The PANI/N-GQD/hollow In2O3 nanofiber sensor also revealed higher selectivity and repeatability when exposed to 1.0 and 2.0 ppm NH3 at room temperature. Because of the excellent selectivity and repeatability in the detection of 1.0 and 2.0 ppm NH3 at room temperature achieved in this study, it is considered that the PANI/N-GQD/hollow In2O3 nanofiber composite sensor will be a favored gas-sensing material applied on human breath for the detection of hepatic or kidney disease.

Abstract:Au/MoS 2 /polypyrrole (Au/MoS 2 /PPy) nanocomposite is successfully synthesized by the liquid-phase ultrasonic exfoliation process combined with in-situ polymerization method and then Au particles are decorated on its surface. Abundant sulfur (S) vacancies in the exfoliated layered MoS 2 nanosheets act as active adsorption sites, and Au particles also play an efficient catalyst to enhance the NH 3 gas sensing properties of Au/MoS 2 /PPy flexible sensor at room temperature. It results in higher NH 3 gas sensing response, faster recovery rate, and more stable sensing performance even under complex environment conditions such as high relative humidity and high bending angle/numbers compared with that of pristine PPy sensor. The enhancement sensing mechanisms of Au/MoS 2 /PPy sensor are attributed to the p-n heterojunction between layered MoS 2 and PPy, the active sites of S vacancies, the catalysis and dehydrogenation effect of Au particles, which have been verified by XPS, current-voltage (I-V), and in-situ FITR, etc. Moreover, the density-functional theory (DFT) calculations are employed to further illustrate the selectivity sensing mechanism, and reveal the S vacancies, the nanocomposite of MoS 2 /PPy possess high superiority for improving NH 3 sensing properties at room temperature.

Abstract:Hollow carbon-coated In2O3 (C#In2O3) nanofibers were prepared using an efficiently combined approach of electrospinning, high-temperature calcination, and hydrothermal process. The polyaniline (PANI)/hollow C#In2O3 nanofiber composites were synthesized used hollow C#In2O3 nanofibers worked as a core through the in situ chemical oxidative polymerization. The morphology and crystalline structure of the PANI/hollow C#In2O3 nanofiber composite were identified using wide-angle X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The gas-sensing performances of the fabricated PANI/hollow C#In2O3 nanofiber composite sensor were estimated at room temperature, and the response value of the composite sensor with an exposure of 1 ppm NH3 was 18.2, which was about 5.74 times larger than that of the pure PANI sensor. The PANI/hollow C#In2O3 nanofiber composite sensor was demonstrated to be highly sensitive to the detection of NH3 in the concentration range of 0.6~2.0 ppm, which is critical for kidney or hepatic disease detection from the human breath. This composite sensor also displayed superior repeatability and selectivity at room temperature with exposures of 1.0 and 2.0 ppm NH3. Because of the outstanding repeatability and selectivity to the detection of NH3 at 1.0 and 2.0 ppm confirmed in this investigation, the PANI/hollow C#In2O3 nanofiber composite sensor will be considered as a favorable gas-sensing material for kidney or hepatic disease detection from human breath.

Abstract:ZnO nanoparticles, nanorods and nanosheets were in-situ deposited on the interdigitated gold electrodes by hydrothermal treatment of electrospun nanofibers containing zinc salt precursors and seed-induced solution growth of ZnO. The nanostructured ZnO was further covered with polyaniline (PANI) via vapor phase polymerization of aniline or dip-coating with water-dispersible PANI to prepare ZnO/PANI nanocomposites. The morphology and structure of the nanocomposites were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction patterns and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The electrical responses of the nanocomposites toward NH3 have been examined at room temperature, and the nanocomposite revealed much better gas sensing properties than ZnO or PANI alone. The morphology of the nanocomposites had a great effect on their sensing properties. Specifically, the composite of ZnO nanosheets covered with vapor phase polymerized aniline demonstrated optimal sensing performance, featuring high response magnitude (relevant resistance change of similar to 2150% towards NH3 as low as 10 ppm), ultralow limit of detection (similar to 5 ppb), good repeatability and excellent selectivity. 1D/2D Heterostructured WS2@PANI Composite for Highly Sensitive, Flexible, and Room Temperature Ammonia Gas Sensor

Abstract:Flexible and room-temperature (RT) ammonia gas sensors are needed for exhaled breath detection and recognition. Two-dimensional transition metal disulfides are potential materials for RT gas sensing because of their low band gap and a large number of edge-exposed sites that can provide strong binding to gas molecules. In this work, a 1D/2D heterostructured composite material of 2D tungsten disulfide (WS2) modified with 1D polyaniline (PANI) was proposed. The fibrous PANI adsorbed on the edges and inserted in the interlayers of the laminated WS2 provide more diffusion channels for the ammonia gas and act as sensing sites. The WS2@PANI-based sensor shows high selectivity for ammonia with satisfying reproducibility and long-term stability. A response of 216.3% and a short response/recovery time of 25 s/39 s were achieved for 100 ppm ammonia gas. The sensing mechanism was investigated in detail via complex impedance spectra and in situ FT-IR, which was attributed to the synergistic effect of WS2 and PANI. The excellent sensing performance coupled with its resistance to thermal and humidity interference endows the WS2@PANI-based sensor with potential for human exhaled detection and wearable electronics.
Flexible Room Temperature Sensor with Modulation of Polyaniline Interfacial Polymerization by CTAB for Ppb-Level Ammonia Detection

Abstract:A highly selective and sensitive flexible room temperature ammonia (NH3) sensor was produced by in situ po-lymerizations of polyaniline (PANI) with modulation of Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium Bromide (CTAB) on a porous Polyvinylidene fluoride film (PVDF). CTAB allows the PANI nanoparticles to grow uniformly on the surface and in the internal pores of the PVDF film, which increases the sensor's response to the NH3. As a result, the sensor's response values to 5 ppm NH3 and 0.01 ppm NH3 are 81.3 % and 4.6 % at 20 degrees C, respectively. The sensor also shows excellent selectivity for NH3 and maintains superior stability. Such a highly responsive and sensitive sensor is expected to be applied to detect chronic kidney disease.
Ag/Cu doped polyaniline hybrid nanocomposite-based novel gas sensor for enhanced ammonia gas sensing performance at room temperature

Abstract:Hybrid nanocomposites, which comprise organic and inorganic materials, have gained increasing attention in applications for enhanced sensing response to both reducing and oxidation gases. In this study, a novel nanocomposite is synthesized using chemical polymerization by reinforcing Ag/Cu nanoparticles with different concentrations doped into the polyaniline matrix. This hybrid nanocomposite is used as a sensing platform for ammonia detection with different concentrations (ppm). The homogeneous distribution of Ag/Cu nanoparticles onto the PANI matrix provides a smooth and dense surface area, further accelerating the transmission of electrons. The synergistic effect of the PANI@Ag/Cu matrix is responsible for the outstanding conductivity, compatibility, and catalytic ability of the proposed gas sensor. The structure, morphology, and surface composition of as-synthesized samples were examined using X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results indicated that the resistive sensor based on the PANI@Ag/Cu3 hybrid nanocomposite exhibited the highest response toward ammonia at room temperature, with a response value of 86% to a concentration of 300 ppm. We also investigated the sensing properties of volatile organic compounds, including carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ethanol and hydrogen sulphide. Characterization and gas sensing measurements exhibited protonation and deprotonation of the PANI@Ag/Cu heterojunction, which contributes to the ammonia sensing mechanism. Overall, the obtained findings demonstrated that the PANI@Ag/Cu hybrid nanocomposite is a promising material for gas sensing applications in environmental monitoring.
Highly sensitive Cu-ethylenediamine/PANI composite sensor for NH3 detection at room temperature

Abstract:Ammonia detection is needed in several sectors including environmental monitoring, automobile industry, and in medical diagnosis. Conducting polymers, such as polyaniline (PANI), have been utilized to develop NH3 sensors operating at room temperature. However, the performance of these sensors in terms of sensitivity and selectivity need improvement. Functionalization of conducting PANI with metal nanocomposites have shown improved sensor performance. In this work, we report a highly sensitive copper-based nanocomposite for NH3 detection. The novelty lies in utilization of copper-ethylenediamine (Cu-en) nanocomposite functionalized over PANI for gas sensing. Resistance of the 20 wt% Cu-en with PANI increased 3.8 times upon exposure to 100 ppm of NH3. The nanocomposite sensor detected NH3 concentrations as low as 2 ppm. Further, the sensing mechanism was studied by in-situ IV characteristics and impedance spectroscopy during NH3 exposure. NH3 showed ionic interaction with PANI, and Cu2+. The strong affinity of Cu2+ for the lone pair of NH3 enhanced the sensor response from 0.78 to 3.8 for 100 ppm of NH3 at 20 °C. The sensor response was completely recovered after heating at 75 °C, which indicates reusability of the sensor. The sensor showed selectivity for NH3 over ethanol and H2S. The response was reasonably stable after bending the flexible sensor for 1000 times at a radius of 5 mm.

Abstract:In this work, hydrochloric acid (HCl)-doped molybdenum ditelluride (MoTe2) nanosheets/polyaniline (PANI) nanofiber composites are prepared by in situ chemical oxidation polymerization, and then the composites are deposited on interdigital electrodes (IDEs) to fabricate a NH3 gas sensor. Morphological analysis of the composites reveals that the PANI fibers are deposited on 2D MoTe2 sheets, showing a porous mesh microstructure structure with a more continuous distribution of PANI layer. FTIR spectrum analysis indicates the interaction between the MoTe2 nanosheets and the PANI in the MoTe2/PANI composites. The results demonstrate that the as-prepared MoTe2/PANI composites exhibit higher response than the pure PANI, in particular, the 8 wt.% MoTe2/PANI composites display about 4.23 times enhancement in response value toward 1000 ppm NH3 gas compared with the pure PANI. The enhanced NH3 gas-sensitive properties may be due to the increasing surface area of MoTe2/PANI composite films and the possible interaction of the P-N heterojunctions formed between PANI and the 2H-MoTe2 nanosheets.

High-performance Ammonia Sensor at Room Temperature Based on 2D Conductive MOF Cu3(HITP)2

Abstract:Sensitive detection of ammonia in the environment is crucial due to its potential danger to human ecology and health. In gas detection technology, resistive sensors utilizing golden cross finger electrodes combined with gas-sensitive materials are commonly employed. In this study, we demonstrated a room-temperature sensor for ambient ammonia detection. The sensor is composed of two-dimensional layer-stacked metal-organic framework (MOF) Cu3(HITP)2 nanomaterials drop-coated onto gold-forked finger electrodes. Density-functional theory simulation (DFT) and sensor gas-sensitive performance testing were conducted for characterization. The sensor exhibited high sensitivity, selectivity, low detection limit, excellent reproducibility, and stability. This can be attributed to the abundant Cu active sites exposed in the hexagonal ring and layer-stacked framework structure of Cu3(HITP)2 nanomaterials. Ammonia adsorption leads to electron transfer into the Cu3(HITP)2 framework, resulting in decreased sensor resistance. Real-time monitoring of sensor resistance changes enabled quantitative analysis. Results showed a 91.4% response of the Cu3(HITP)2 sensor to 100 ppm NH3, with response and recovery times of 26 s and 20 s, respectively. The sensor's limit of detection (LOD) was approximately 15 ppb. The sensor exhibited a relatively high response to NH3 at 25 °C, as demonstrated by dynamic gradient test curves. These findings suggest that constituting a room-temperature ammonia sensor by uniformly drop-coating Cu3(HITP)2 onto a gold-forked finger electrode is a feasible strategy.

Abstract:Development of chemo-resistive room-temperature ammonia (NH3) sensor with high performance remains a great challenge to this day. In this paper, we demonstrate a room-temperature NH3 sensor based on organic-inorganic cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4)/polyaniline (PANI) composite. The CoFe2O4 porous nanosheets were firstly prepared by using a direct precipitation method, and then the PANI were anchored onto the surfaces of the CoFe2O4 porous nanosheets through an in-situ polymerization process to form the CoFe2O4/PANI composite. The crystal structure, morphology, and surface chemistry of the CoFe2O4/PANI composite were characterized by combined techniques of X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, and spectroscopy. Due to the porous feature of the composite and the formation of p-p heterojunctions between the CoFe2O4 and PANI, the CoFe2O4/PANI gas sensor exhibited excellent NH3-sensing performance with high response (13 to 100 ppm NH3), good selectivity, wide detection range (10–500 ppm), and rapid response/recovery rate (18/31 s to 100 ppm NH3) at room temperature. Additionally, the CoFe2O4/PANI gas sensor owned outstanding repeatability and long-term stability. This study offered a promising candidate of CoFe2O4/PANI composite for constructing room-temperature NH3 sensor.

Abstract:Abstract The irrational NH 3 emission routinely poses a significant threat to human health and environmental protection even at low dose. In addition, high miniaturization and low power-consumption has been the critical requirements of Internet of Things. To meet these demands, it is greatly pressing to develop a novel gas sensor with the capability to detect trace NH 3 without external heating or light-irradiation elements. In this work, the organic conducting conjugated polymer PEDOT:PSS was combined with inorganic nitrogen-doped transition metal carbides and nitrides (N-MXene Ti 3 C 2 T x ) for chemiresistive NH 3 sensing at room temperature (20 o C). By means of the organic–inorganic n – p heterojunctions via the synergistic effect, the results show that the composite film sensor with the optimal mass ratio of 1:0.5 between N-MXene and PEDOT:PSS components delivered favorable NH 3 sensing performance than individual N-MXene or PEDOT:PSS counterparts in terms of higher response and quicker response/recovery speeds under 20 o C@36%RH air. Besides, decent repeatability, stability and selectivity were demonstrated. The incorporated N atoms served as excellent electron donors to promote the electron-transfer reactions and augment the sorption sites. Simultaneously, partial oxidation of MXene brought about some TiO 2 nanoparticles which acted as spacers to widen the interlayer spacing and probably suppress the MXene restacking during the film deposition, thus favoring the gas diffusion/penetration within the sensing layer and then a quick reaction kinetic. The modulation of consequent build-in field within the heterojunctions was responsible for the reversible NH 3 sensing. In addition, pre-adsorbed water molecules facilitated to establish a swift adsorption/desorption balance. The proposed strategy expanded the application range of MXene based composite materials and enrich the current sensing mechanisms of NH 3 gas sensors.

Abstract:Ammonia (NH3) is a harmful atmospheric pollutant and an important indicator of environment, health, and food safety conditions. Wearable devices with flexible gas sensors offer convenient real-time NH3 monitoring capabilities. A flexible ammonia gas sensing system to support the internet of things (IoT) is proposed. The flexible gas sensor in this system utilizes polyaniline (PANI) with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) decoration as a sensitive material, coated on a silver interdigital electrode on a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate. Gas sensors are combined with other electronic components to form a flexible electronic system. The IoT functionality of the system comes from a microcontroller with Wi-Fi capability. The flexible gas sensor demonstrates commendable sensitivity, selectivity, humidity resistance, and long lifespan. The experimental data procured from the sensor reveal a remarkably low detection threshold of 0.3 ppm, aligning well with the required specifications for monitoring ammonia concentrations in exhaled breath gas, which typically range from 0.425 to 1.8 ppm. Furthermore, the sensor demonstrates a negligible reaction to the presence of interfering gases, such as ethanol, acetone, and methanol, thereby ensuring high selectivity for ammonia detection. In addition to these attributes, the sensor maintains consistent stability across a range of environmental conditions, including varying humidity levels, repeated bending cycles, and diverse angles of orientation. A portable, stable, and effective flexible IoT system solution for real-time ammonia sensing is demonstrated by collecting data at the edge end, processing the data in the cloud, and displaying the data at the user end.
