Abstract:Objective:To analyze the usage characteristics and principle of meridians and acupoints selected for treating chest blockage of ancient literatures by data-mining.Methods:By collecting the related data of the literature of acupuncture and moxibustion from the pre-Qin to the late Qing dynasty,establishing the ancient acupuncture clinical literature database of chest blockage and using data mining technology to census and sieve the commonly used meridians,acupuncture points and specific acupoints for chest blockage treatment in past dynasties were analyzed and the potential principle of these meridians and acupuncture points were studied as well.Results:In the past dynasties,the pericardium meridian of Hand Jueyin was most selected.The statistics of acupuncture points' usage frequency on chest blockage showed that yin meridians were used much more often while yang meridians seldom be used except stomach meridian and large intestine meridian.From the selected category of the selected specific acupoints,the specific acupoints took up absolute superiority,such as five-shu acupoints,yuan-source,luo-connecting points,etc.Conclusion:The selection for the treatment of chest blockage in ancient literatures mainly focused on the specific acupoints,and it incarnated the principle of selecting acupoints along the meridian.

Bone marrow regeneration after hormonal therapy in patients with bone metastases from prostate carcinoma.

Abstract:Two patients with prostate carcinoma and bone metastases were treated with hormonal therapy. Radioimmune imaging of bone marrow performed with 99mTc-labeled antigranulocyte antibody BW 250/183 before treatment demonstrated absence of granulopoietic bone marrow in extensive regions of the central and proximal peripheral skeleton, indicating diffuse bone marrow invasion. Bone marrow scans performed after treatment demonstrated presence of granulopoietic bone marrow in these regions, indicating bone marrow regeneration. This finding was consistent with favorable response to treatment.
[Characteristics of acupoint selection of acupuncture-moxibustion for vertigo in history: a data mining research]

Abstract:The data mining technique is adopted to analyze characteristics and rules of acupoint and meridian selection of acupuncture-moxibustion for treatment of vertigo at different time periods in the ancient. The data is collected from literature regarding acupuncture-moxibustion from the pre-Qin period to the end of Qing Dynasty, so as to establish a clinical literature database of ancient acupuncture-moxibustion for treatment of vertigo. Data mining method is applied to analyze the commonly used meridians, acupoints and special acupoints in different dynasties, also possible rules are explored. Totally 82 pieces of prescription of acupuncture-moxibustion for treatment of vertigo are included. In the history the leading selection of acupoitns are Fengchi (GB 20), Hegu (LI 4), Shangxing (GV 23) and Jiexi (ST 41) while that of meridians are mainly three yang meridians of foot and the Governor Vessel, especially the acupoints on the Bladder Meridian of foot yangming had the highest utilization rate, accounting for 23.04%. The acupoint selection is characterized by special acupoint, accounting for 80.6%, among which the crossing points are the most common choice. Distal-proximal acupoints combination is the most frequent method. The results indicate that the ancient acupuncture-moxibustion for treatment of vertigo focused on acupoints in the yang meridians, and the specific acupoints play an essential role in prescription; also the principle of syndrome differentiation and selecting acupoints along the meridians could be seen.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To identify what New South Wales (NSW) farmers know about Q fever to inform preventive approaches. DESIGN Thematic analysis of qualitative data gathered through semi-structured individual interviews, focus groups and a community meeting. SETTING Rural communities in NSW, Australia. PARTICIPANTS A total of 25 farmers participated in individual interviews (n = 4) or three focus groups, each with seven participants (n = 21). A further 27 persons, were involved in a community meeting. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Themes derived from the interviews, focus groups and community meeting. RESULTS Knowledge variations regarding Q fever risk and transmission highlight a need for improved risk communication. Vaccination was viewed as the preferred prevention approach; barriers were raised including time, costs, access to screening/vaccination and General Practitioner (GP) knowledge about Q fever. Local vaccination initiatives were supported. CONCLUSIONS Strengthening existing GP knowledge and services leading to expanded provision of screening/vaccination could improve the coverage of Q fever vaccine in endemic NSW farming and rural communities.
[Analysis on acupoint selection rules for impotence treated with acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient based on data mining technology]

Abstract:Based on the data mining technology, the rules of acupoint selection and prescription were analyzed for impotence treated with acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient recorded in Zhonghua Yidian. By taking "yangwei" and "yinwei" as the searching terms, the database of Zhonghua Yidian (the 5th edition) were retrieved and the relevant information of impotence, such as prescription provision, acupoints and use frequency were extracted. Using the software, e.g. Microsoft Excel and Weka 3.8.4, the rules of acupoint selection and prescription for impotence treated with acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient were analyzed. Fifty five provisions of acupoint prescriptions were in compliance with the requirements and screened. Of them, there were 17 compound prescriptions and the rest were the single-point prescriptions, with 24 acupoints involved. Regarding the use frequency of acupoints in treatment of impotence, the top 5 acupoints were Yingu (KI 10), Ququan (LR 8), Qichong (ST 30), Taichong (LR 3) and Rangu (KI 2). The cluster analysis found that Yingu (KI 10), Ququan (LR 8)-Qichong (ST 30), Taichong (LR 3)-Rangu (KI 2)-Xingjian (LR 2), and Mingmen (GV 4)-Zhongfeng (LR 4)-Yuji (LU 10)-Yanggu (SI 5) were formed the group prescriptions respectively. Multilayer correlation analysis discovered that the commonly used meridians were the liver meridian of foot-jueyin, the kidney meridian of foot-shaoyin, the stomach meridian of foot-yangming and the conception vessel. The acupoints selected were generally on the lower extremities, the abdomen and the upper extremities. Regarding the special points, the five-shu points and the convergent points were mostly involved. By the analysis on compound prescriptions, 3 patterns of acupoint combination were discovered, the prescription by taking Yingu (KI 10), Rangu (KI 2) and Zhongfeng (LR 4) as the key points, the one by taking Shenshu (BL 23) and Yanggu (SI 5) as the key points and the relevant fixed combination of 4 acupoints, including Taichong (LR 3), Xingjian (LR 2), Neiting (ST 44) and Xiangu (ST 43). By the analysis on the compound prescriptions, 3 common meridian combinations were found, including the combination with the kidney meridian predominated, the relevant fixed combination with the liver meridian and the stomach meridian and the one with small intestine meridian and the lung meridian.

Abstract:Background. Dysmenorrhea is a common problem for which acupuncture provides effective analgesia. Although acupoint selection affects the effectiveness of acupuncture, the basic rules of acupoint selection are little understood. This study aims to investigate the principles of acupoint selection and characteristics of acupoints used for primary dysmenorrhea. Methods. PubMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Chinese Biomedical Database were searched for clinical trials published in English or Chinese from January 1978 to April 2014 evaluating the effect of acupuncture on primary dysmenorrhea, with or without methods of randomization and/or control. Three authors extracted information and two reviewers inputted information on titles, journals, interventions, main acupoints, and outcomes using the self-established Data Excavation Platform of Acupoint Specificity for data mining. Results. Sanyinjiao (SP06), Guanyuan (CV04), and Qihai (CV06) were used most frequently. The most frequently used meridians were Conception Vessel, Spleen Meridian of Foot Taiyin, and Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang. 67.24% of acupoints used were specific acupoints. Acupoints on lower limbs were most frequently used. Conclusion. Data mining is a feasible approach to identify the characteristics of acupoint selection. Our study indicated that modern acupuncture treatment for primary dysmenorrhea is based on selection of specific acupoints according to traditional acupuncture theory.

Abstract:Objective:To summarize and analyze the acupoint rules of gastrointestinal dysfunction and provide the theoretical foundation for selection program of treating gastrointestinal dysfunction with acupuncture and moxibustion.Methods:Retrieve the articles ( from 1994 to 2014) of gastrointestinal dysfunction treated by acu-puncture and moxibustion from China National Knowledge Infrastructure ( CNKI) .The acupoints used in the ar-ticles were analyzed by statistical methods.Results:Altogether 44 articles were included in analysis, and the most frequently used points were Zusanli(ST 36), Shangjuxu(ST 37), Thianshu(ST 25), Sanyinjiao(SP 6), Neiguan(PC 6)and so on.Selected meridians in the stomach meridian, spleen meridian and Ren meridian were given priority to.Xiahe point, He point and Bahui point were the most frequently used specific acupoints.Con-clusion:Treating gastrointestinal dysfunction with acupuncture and moxibustion is safe and effective, and the acupoints are mainly located in stomach meridian, spleen meridian and Ren meridian.
Application Development of Baihui (GV20) Moxibustion in Ancient China: a Data Analysis Study Based on Ancient Books

Abstract:Importance: We compile and analyze ancient literature related to Baihui (GV20) moxibustion and summarize the development of its ancient clinical application. Observations: The Chinese Medical Classic (5th edition) was used as the search source to screen and organize articles related to Baihui moxibustion to establish a database. We created indexing norms according to study characteristics and indexed books, dynasties, literary styles, disease key words, matching acupoints, combinations, moxibustion amounts, and moxa cone sizes. SPSS version 24.0 software was used to calculate the index results. A total of 320 articles that met the requirements were finally included and were attributed to 99 ancient books, spanning from the Western Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. A total of 45 keywords were used for disease evidence: the most frequent occurrences were internal medicine (primary category), limb meridians (secondary category), and head diseases (specific patterns). Conclusions and relevance: Baihui moxibustion has been updated and developed in the literature over the ages, and the method of Baihui moxibustion is diverse. The main treatment rule of Baihui moxibustion considers the whole body and close treatment of partial diseases. Baihui moxibustion also has the rule of following meridian indications, with treatment based on syndrome differentiation and compatible application. Baihui moxibustion alone has a relatively strong effect of raising yang and lifting the sunken, which can treat the sinking of qi and deficiency.

Abstract:Objective. This study was aimed at comparing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion on irritable bowel syndrome complicated with diarrhea (IBS-D) in adults and providing guidance for clinical treatment. Methods. PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Embase, CBM, CNKI, and VIP and Wanfang databases were searched to obtain clinical randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of IBS-D published from establishment of the database to August 5, 2021. Relevant data were extracted to assess the risk of bias in the included studies, and statistical software Stata 16.0 was used for meta-analysis. Results. Twenty-one studies were eventually included in the network meta-analysis (NMA), including 1626 patients with IBS-D and 8 therapeutic measures. NMA showed that acupuncture [ OR = 0.35 , 95 % CI 0.25 , 0.49 , P < 0.05 ], warming needle moxibustion [ OR = 6.34 , 95 % CI 2.83 , 14.21 , P < 0.05 ], acupuncture+sandwiched moxibustion [ OR = 12.83 , 95 % CI 4.49 , 36.64 , P < 0.05 ], acupuncture+heat-sensitive moxibustion [ OR = 9.86 , 95 % CI 1.77 , 55.00 , P < 0.05 ] were more effective than pinaverium bromide in the treatment of IBS-D. Cumulative ranking probability (SUCRA) showed that the comprehensive efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion (86.8%) and quality of life (QOL) (70.4%) was the best, while the comprehensive efficacy of pinaverium bromide (2.1%) and QOL (16.3%) was the worst. GV20, GV29, ST 25, ST37, ST36, SP6, LR3, and CV12 were used frequently. Conclusion. Acupuncture+sandwiched moxibustion has the best effect on improving the efficacy and QOL of IBS-D patients. Limited by the number and quality of studies, we still need a large sample, multicenter, and high-quality clinical trials to confirm our findings.

Abstract:Objectives: To analyze the rules of acupoint selection and compatibility of acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) based on complex network technology and provide the reliable evidences for acupoint selection in treatment of this disease with acupuncture and moxibustion. Methods: The clinical studies on acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of IBD were searched from the databases including CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed and Embase. The studies were screened and the acupoint prescriptions were extracted to set up the database of acupuncture-moxibustion treatment for IBD. Using Microsoft Excel 2021 software, the use times of acupoint, the use frequency (%) of acupoint, meridian tropism and the use of special point were imported. With SPSS Modeler 18.0 software adopted, the association rules were analyzed on the acupoint prescriptions. The acupoint co-occurrence network diagram, k-core network diagram, and community analysis diagram were drawn by Gephi 0.9.5 software. Results: A total of 156 studies were included, composed of 175 acupoint prescriptions, 75 acupoints, with 1 378 use times in total and around 8 acupoints in one prescription. Regarding the top use frequency, Tianshu (ST25), Zusanli (ST36), Guanyuan (CV4), Zhongwan (CV12) and Pishu (BL20) were listed. The top meridians involved were the foot-yangming stomach meridian, the foot-taiyang bladder meridian and the Conception Vessel. The front-mu point had been used with the highest frequency among the special points. ST36 and ST25 were a pair of points with the highest frequency in treatment. The k-core hierarchical analysis was adopted to optimize acupoint prescriptions, and 22 core acupoints were obtained, i.e. ST25, ST36, CV4, CV12, BL20, Dachangshu (BL25), Shangjuxu (ST37), Shenshu (BL23), Qihai (CV6), Sanyinjiao (SP6), Mingmen (GV4), Xingjian (LR2), Yinlingquan (SP9), Neiting (ST44), Taichong (LR3), Xiajuxu (ST39), Shuifen (CV9), Shenque (CV8), Ganshu (BL18), Weishu (BL21), Hegu (LI4) and Quchi(LI11), which were classified into three core acupoint groups by community analysis. Conclusions: Through complex network analysis, it is found that the local acupoints on the chest and abdomen are generally selected in treatment with acupuncture-moxibustion for IBD, the combination of the nearby and distal points is considered simulta-neously, and the acupoint prescription is modified according to syndrome/pattern differentiation；and among special points, the front-mu point is widely used in treatment. All of these rules provide the ideas for the acupoint selection of acupuncture-moxibustion in treatment of IBD.

Abstract:Moxibustion is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It achieved higher level of recognition and had more general application in ancient times than in contemporary life. As the vital historical sources, the records of unearthed literatures offered precious insights to Chinese social life pattern and medical practice in Qin and Han dynasties (221 BC–220 AD). There was no surprise that the bamboo and silk documents excavated from Mawangdui (马王堆 ) tomb, Hantanpo ( 旱滩坡 ) tomb, and other relics had a large amount of texts relevant to moxibustion. This research sorted moxibustion recordings from seven unearthed literatures and discovered that moxibustion had been developed into different modalities and utilized to treat many diseases at that time. In addition, the indications, contraindications of moxibustion, and the method of postmoxibustion care were also discussed. On this basis, some hints were provided to support the hypothesis that the practice of moxibustion led to the discovery of meridians. All our preliminary results in the research have drawn attention for this old therapy and given a new source for its application in clinic and scientific research.

Exploring the Clinical Point Selection Rules of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in the Treatment of Infantile Enuresis Based on Data Mining Technology

Abstract:In order to explore the clinical point selection rules of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of infantile enuresis based on data mining technology, first, it introduces the principle of data mining technology, the global optimization strategy of information extraction + genetic search. In China Biomedical Literature Database, CNKI, Weipu, Wanfang. Use "enuresis," "enuresis," "leathering," "urinary discharge," "drowning," "bedwetting," "nocturia," "drowning," "moxibustion," "moxibustion," and "moxibustion" as search terms, take (enuresis + enuresis + urination + urination + addiction + bedwetting), (moxibustion + moxibustion + moxibustion)" as the retrieval style. The analysis of the use of moxibustion, the law of acupoint selection by different moxibustion methods, and the frequency analysis of meridian use show that most of the moxibustion methods are used (62 articles, of which 3 articles use 2 moxibustion methods), including non-suppurative moxibustion, ginger moxibustion, medicinal cake moxibustion, salt moxibustion, mild moxibustion, warm acupuncture moxibustion, bird pecking moxibustion, circling moxibustion, and warm moxibustion; among them, mild moxibustion has the highest frequency of use 24 and non-suppurative moxibustion and salt-separated moxibustion have the lowest frequency of use1; there are 4 non-moxibustion methods, which are medicated thread moxibustion methods. Different moxibustion methods for acupoint selection have their own emphasis. The 63 included literatures included 63 prescriptions for moxibustion, 11 prescriptions for acupoints. Analyzing the frequency of acupoint selection, a total of 18 ear acupoints are involved, and the total frequency of auricular acupoints is 54 times; 44 points are involved (including 1 odd point outside the meridian), the total frequency of acupoints is 300 times, and the total frequency of meridian points is 298, and the total frequency of Jingwaiqi acupoints (Sishencong) is 2. The results can provide great help for the clinical selection of acupuncture points for the treatment of infantile enuresis.

The retrieved data underwent descriptive analysis, cluster analysis and association pattern analysis to determine the acupoints selection principle in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of PMS.ResultsThe top five acupoints used in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of PMS were Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Shenshu (BL 23), Guanyuan (CV 4), Baihui (GV 20), and Shenmen (HT 7). The leading 4 meridians were Bladder Meridian, Conception Vessel, Spleen Meridian, and Governor Vessel. The clustering analysis showed that the 5 core acupoint groups were: ① Sanyinjiao (SP 6); ② Shenshu (BL 23) and Guanyuan (CV 4); ③ Baihui (GV 20), Shenmen (HT 7), Zusanli (ST 36), Ganshu (BL 18) and Taichong (LR 3); ④ Taixi (KI 3), Pishu (BL 20), Xinshu (BL 15), Qihai (CV 6) and Neiguan (PC 6); ⑤ Sishencong (EX-HN 1), Zhongwan (CV 12), Hegu (LI 4), Yintang (GV 29), Fengchi (GB 20), Zhongji (CV 3) and Feishu (BL 13). The three most significant acupoints were Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Shenshu (BL 23) and Guanyuan (CV 4). Acupoint groups based on syndrome differentiation included: ① Hegu (LI 4), Zhongwan (CV 12) and Sishencong (EX-HN 1); ② Feishu (BL 13), Zhongji (CV 3), Fengchi (GB 20) and Yintang (GV 29); ③ Xinshu (BL 15), Pishu (BL 20), Qihai (CV 6), Neiguan (PC 6) and Taixi (KI 3); ④ Ganshu (BL 18), Zusanli (ST 36), Shenmen (HT 7), Taichong (LR 3) and Baihui (GV 20). The analysis of association pattern elaborated that Shenshu (BL 23) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) won the highest support rate in the paired groups; Ganshu (BL 18), Shenshu (BL 23) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) had the highest support rate among the acupoint groups.ConclusionThe data mining results of acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of PMS substantially conform to the general principle in traditional acupuncture-moxibustion theories, able to reflect the acupoints selection and grouping pattern and provide references for acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of PMS.

Abstract:The solid-state synthesis and controllable speciation of Cr dopants in the layered perovskite Sr2TiO4 is reported. We employed a chemical reduction procedure with NaBH4 at relatively mild temperatures (<450 °C) to impart sensitive control over the relative concentration of Cr3+ dopants, the charge-state of oxygen-vacancy defects, and presence of Ti3+ defects in highly reduced Cr-doped Sr2TiO4. The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra of the reduced powder samples reveal a 12-fold increase in the Cr3+ concentration within the axially compressed Ti4+-site of the Sr2TiO4 host. The increase in Cr3+ content is achieved through the reduction of higher-valence Cr ions that are either EPR silent or diamagnetic. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters for Cr3+ substituted at the B-site of Sr2TiO4 were refined to D = -201 × 10-4 cm-1, g⊥ = 1.980, and g∥ = 1.978. In addition, the Cr3+ ion exhibits a temperature-dependent axial component to the zero-field splitting of the 4A2 ground term that is accounted for by ligand field theory and an isotropic contraction of the Sr2TiO4 lattice with decreasing temperature. The observed changes to the electronic structure upon reduction are quantitatively reversible upon reoxidation of the sample under aerobic annealing at the same temperature and duration as the reduction conditions. This temperature dependence of the Cr3+ content in the Cr-doped Sr2TiO4 powders is discussed and contrasted to our recent study on Cr-doped SrTiO3.

Abstract:Through collecting the relevant provisions and medical cases of wei syndrome treated with acupuncture and moxibustion from ancient medical works, the diagnosis and acupoint selection in treatment of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMC) with acupuncture and moxibustion were analyzed systematically from 3 aspects, i.e. meridian differentiation, disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation. In treatment based on meridian differentiation, the acupoints are selected in the light of the running course of meridian and characteristics of meridian disorders. In treatment based on disease differentiation, the acupoints are selected in accordance with etiology, pathogenesis and transmission stages of wei syndrome. Concerning to syndrome differentiation in treatment, the acupoints are selected on the basis of therapeutic principles determined by different syndromes/patterns of wei syndrome. In modern clinical practice, the treatment for gMC should be rooted at ancient literature, thus a standardized regimen can be developed for diagnosis and treatment with acupuncture and moxibustion.

Abstract:With the development of society and economy, people’s lifestyle and eating habits have undergone great changes, such as spending a long time behind desks, sitting for a long time, drinking and staying up late, and emotional depression; functional constipation, a disease of the digestive system, has changed. It is extremely common, and the age of onset is gradually decreasing. The development of the medical and health industry is also accompanied by the rapid development of technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence, which penetrates into all aspects of the medical and health field and has entered the stage of smart medical care. This article proposes a study on the clinical acupoint selection rules of massage and acupuncture treatment of functional constipation based on smart medical big data analysis. This article adopts a variety of methods such as literature data method and experimental research method to carry out related theoretical research and promotion of massage and acupuncture treatment under the background of smart medical big data and design a clinical experiment of massage and acupuncture treatment based on big data analysis for functional constipation. The advantages of big data algorithms, the law of selecting acupoints in massage and acupuncture treatment, and the comparison of CCS symptom score and PAC-QOL score are analyzed. From the frequency of acupuncture treatment of functional constipation, the top 5 acupoints are Tianshu, Shangjuxu, Dachangshu, Zusanli, and Zhigou. In this paper, the total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group reached 96.56%, while the total effective rate of treatment in the control group was only 75.02%. Tuina and acupuncture treatment of functional constipation has a good therapeutic effect and is worthy of extensive clinical application.

Abstract:Chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and coronary heart disease are increasingly prevalent in Chinese ageing population due to its accelerated ageing process, which has been a serious threat to people's health. The prevention and treatment of these diseases have received increasing attention from the medical sector. Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by polydipsia, polyuria and emaciation, in which the incidence of type 2 diabetes is much higher compared to type 1 diabetes. Diabetes has a variety of complications that can occur after the progression of the disease. Diabetic constipation is one of the most common and harmful complications of diabetes, which can negatively impact the health of patients. Western medicine is limited when treating these diseases, and there are obvious side effects associated with some drugs. The tolerance of the middle-aged and elderly is poor. Therefore, more and more experts and scholars have advocated the introduction of Chinese medicine into the treatment of diabetic constipation, of which acupuncture is widely used and its efficacy is well recognized by doctors and patients. This study collated and analyzed the relevant literature reports and studies in the past three years. It was confirmed that the use of acupuncture for diabetic constipation can remarkably improve clinical symptoms, its efficacy and safety are good, and this treatment protocol has positive clinical application value.

Abstract:Objective: To analyze and summarize the commonalities and patterns in acupoint selection for moxibustion treatment of asthma.Methods: Data retrieval was conducted using 'moxibustion' and 'asthma' as the keywords through China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database (Wanfang) and Chongqing VIP Database (CQVIP). Excel 2010 was used to establish the major acupoint database for moxibustion prescriptions in treatment of asthma; data mining methods including association patterns and clustering were adopted to analyze the characteristics and patterns in acupoint selection for moxibustion treatment of asthma.Results: A total of 161 moxibustion prescriptions were recruited. The most commonly used acupoint was Feishu (BL 13), the most commonly used meridian was the Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang, and the most commonly treated region was the back. The association rule analysis showed that Feishu (BL 13)-Dazhui (GV 14)-Fengmen (BL 12) had the most significant correlation, and the clustering analysis discovered 5 effective acupoint clusters.Conclusion: In moxibustion treatment of asthma, topical acupoints Feishu (BL 13), Dazhui (GV 14) and Fengmen (BL 12) can be selected, along with the acupoints from the Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang and the back.
