Abstract:A characterization of unconditional convergent series is given for the case of sequentially complete locally convex spaces. From it we show that if E is a barrelled space with continuous dual E', then (E', beta(E', E)) contains no copy of (c(0), parallel to.parallel to(infinity)) if and only if every continuous linear operator T : E --> l(1) is both compact and sequentially compact.

Abstract:In this article, $(X,\, \mathcal{A},\, \mu)$ is a measure apace. A classical result establishes a Riesz isomorphism between $L^1(\mu)^{\sim}$ and $L^{\infty}(\mu)$ in case the measure $\mu$ is $\sigma$-finite. In general, there still is a natural Riesz homomorphism $\Phi: L^{\infty}(\mu) \to L^1(\mu)^{\sim},$ but it may not be injective or surjective. We prove that always the range of $\Phi$ is an order dense Riesz subspace of $L^1(\mu)^{\sim}$. If $\mu$ is semi-finite, then $L^1(\mu)^{\sim}$ is a Dedekind completion of $L^{\infty}(\mu)$.

Abstract:L. Diening \cite{D1} obtained the following dual property of the maximal operator $M$ on variable Lebesque spaces $L^{p(\cdot)}$: if $M$ is bounded on $L^{p(\cdot)}$, then $M$ is bounded on $L^{p'(\cdot)}$. We extend this result to weighted variable Lebesque spaces.

Abstract:A topological space (X, tau) is a D-space if for every function phi: X -> tau with x is an element of phi(x) for each x is an element of X, {phi(x) : x is an element of F} covers X for some closed discrete subset F of X. The Michael line M, one of the most important elementary examples in general topology, is the Euclidean space IR isolating the irrationals. In this note we show that (1) the minimal dense linearly ordered extension of M is hereditarily paracompact, but not monotonically D; (2) the minimal closed linearly ordered extension of M is monotonically D; (3) if the space X is a D-space (resp., a monotone D-space), then so is its Alexandroff duplicate space A(X) and thus A(M) is monotonically D.

Abstract: We establish a Fenchel-Moreau theorem for proper convex functions $f\colon X\to \bar{L}^0$, where $(X,Y,\langle \cdot,\cdot \rangle)$ is a dual pair of Banach spaces and $\bar L^0$ is the space of all extended real-valued functions on a $\sigma$-finite measure space. Abstract:The concept of a four-dimensional generalized difference matrix and its domain on some double sequence spaces was recently introduced and studied by Tuğ and Başar (AIP Conference Proceedings, vol. 1759, 2016) and Tuğ (J. Inequal. Appl. 2017(1):149, 2017). In this present paper, as a natural continuation of (J. Inequal. Appl. 2017(1):149, 2017), we introduce new almost null and almost convergent double sequence spaces [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] as the four-dimensional generalized difference matrix [Formula: see text] domain in the spaces [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], respectively. Firstly, we prove that the spaces [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] of double sequences are Banach spaces under some certain conditions. Then we give an inclusion relation of these new almost convergent double sequence spaces. Moreover, we identify the α-dual, [Formula: see text]-dual and γ-dual of the space [Formula: see text]. Finally, we characterize some new matrix classes [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and we complete this work with some significant results.

The main results are: (1) If $ Y $ is separable, then the dual forms of $ K(X, Y) $ can be represented by the integral operator and the elements of $ C[0, 1] $. (2) If $ X^{**} $ has the weak Radon-Nikodym property, then the dual forms of $ K(X, Y) $ can be represented by the trace of some tensor products.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the notion of mid summability in a general setting using the duality theory of sequence spaces. We define the vector valued sequence space $\lambda^{mid}(X)$ corresponding to a Banach space $X$ and sequence space $\lambda$. We prove that $\lambda^{mid}(\cdot)$ can be placed in a chain with the vector valued sequence spaces $\lambda^{s}(\cdot)$ and $\lambda^{w}(\cdot)$. Consequently, we define mid $\lambda$-summing operators and obtain the maximality of these operator ideals for a suitably restricted $\lambda$. Furthermore, we define a tensor norm using the vector valued sequence spaces $\lambda^{s}(\cdot)$ and $\lambda^{mid}(\cdot)$, and establish its correspondence with the operator ideal of absolutely mid $\lambda$-summing operators.

Abstract:We explicitly describe the Haagerup and the Kosaki non-commutative $L^p$-spaces associated with a tensor product von Neumann algebra $M_1\bar{\otimes}M_2$ in terms of those associated with $M_i$ and usual tensor products of unbounded operators. The descriptions are then shown to be useful in the quantum information theory based on operator algebras.

In this paper we deal with the following three properties for the Banach lattice $L_1(\nu)$ of all $\nu$-integrable real-valued functions: the Dunford-Pettis property, the positive Schur property and being lattice-isomorphic to an AL-space. Weiss, L a non-negative self-adjoint operator on satisfying the Davies–Gaffney estimate, and a ball quasi-Banach function space on satisfying some extra mild assumptions. In this article, the authors introduce the Hardy type space by the Lusin area function associated with L and establish the atomic and the molecular characterizations of As an application of these characterizations of , the authors obtain the boundedness of spectral multiplies on . Moreover, when L satisfies the Gaussian upper bound estimate, the authors further characterize in terms of the Littlewood–Paley functions and and establish the boundedness estimate of Schrödinger groups on . Specific spaces to which these results can be applied include Lebesgue spaces, Orlicz spaces, weighted Lebesgue spaces, and variable Lebesgue spaces. This shows that the results obtained in the article have extensive generality.

Let $(z_n)_{n\in \mathbb{N}}$ be a sequence in $Z$ such that: (a) for each $n\in \mathbb{N}$, the set $\{M(z_n):M\in \mathcal{M}\}$ is relatively norm compact; (b) for each sequence $(M_n)_{n\in \mathbb{N}}$ in $\mathcal{M}$, the series $\sum_{n=1}^\infty M_n(z_n)$ is weakly unconditionally Cauchy. Abstract:We prove that several classical Banach space properties are equivalent to separability for the class of Lipschitz-free spaces, including Corson's property ($\mathcal{C}$), Talponen's Countable Separation Property, or being a Gâteaux differentiability space. On the other hand, we single out more general properties where this equivalence fails. In particular, the question whether the duals of non-separable Lipschitz-free spaces have a weak$^*$ sequentially compact ball is undecidable in ZFC. Finally, we provide an example of a nonseparable dual Lipschitz-free space that fails the Radon-Nikodým property.

Abstract:This article is intended towards the study of the bidual of generalized group algebra $L^1(G,\mA)$ equipped with two Arens product, where $G$ is any locally compact group and $\mA$ is a Banach algebra. We show that the left topological center of $(L^1(G)\hat\otimes\mA)^{**}$ is a Banach $L^1(G)$-module if $G$ is abelian. Further it also holds permanance property with respect to the unitization of $\mA$. We then use this fact to extend the remarkable result of A.M Lau and V. Losert\cite{Lau-losert}, about the topological center of $L^1(G)^{**}$ being just $L^1(G)$, to the reflexive Banach algebra valued case using the theory of vector measures. We further explore pseudo-center of $L^1(G,\mA)$ for non-reflexive Banach algebras $\mA$ and give a partial characterization for elements of pseudo-center using the Cohen's factorization theorem. In the running we also observe few consequences when $\mA$ holds the Radon-Nikodym property and weak sequential completeness.
