Abstract:We establish a Skoda-type $L^2$ division theorem for $L^2$-optimal pairs, using a technique that combines a new Bochner-type inequality derived from the $L^2$-optimal conditions and Skoda's basic inequality. As applications, we provide some new characterizations of domains of holomorphy.

Abstract:We prove a Skoda-type division theorem via a degeneration argument. The proof is inspired by B. Berndtsson and L. Lempert's approach to the $L^2$ extension theorem and is based on positivity of direct image bundles. The same tools are then used to slightly simplify and extend the proof of the $L^2$ extension theorem given by Berndtsson and Lempert.

In this part, we consider the most difficult case, i.e., the underlying space is a general pseudo-convex domain. In order to solve this longstanding open problem, we introduce several new concepts and techniques, which have independent interest and pave the way for research that investigates some other issues in infinite-dimensional analysis.

As applications, we derive some results about $L^2$-estimate for $d$-equation and prove some curvature positivity related to convex analysis from well known $L^2$-estimate for $\bar\partial$-equation or the results we prove in complex analysis.

Abstract:In this paper we consider the classical $\bar{\partial}$-problem in the case of one complex variable both for analytic and polyanalytic data. We apply the decomposition property of polyanalytic functions in order to construct particular solutions of this problem and obtain new Hörmander type estimates using suitable powers of the Cauchy-Riemann operator. We also compute particular solutions of the $\bar{\partial}$-problem for specific polyanalytic data such as the Itô complex Hermite polynomials and polyanalytic Fock kernels.

$L^2$-vanishing theorem and a conjecture of Kollár

Abstract:In 1995, Kollár conjectured that a complex projective $n$-fold $X$ with generically large fundamental group has Euler characteristic $\chi(X, K_X)\geq 0$. In this paper, we confirm the conjecture assuming $X$ has linear fundamental group, i.e., there exists an almost faithful representation $\pi_1(X)\to {\rm GL}_N(\mathbb{C})$. We deduce the conjecture by proving a stronger $L^2$ vanishing theorem: for the universal cover $\widetilde{X}$ of such $X$, its $L^2$-Dolbeaut cohomology $H_{(2)}^{n,q}(\widetilde{X})=0$ for $q\neq 0$. The main ingredients of the proof are techniques from the linear Shafarevich conjecture along with some analytic methods.

Abstract:We establish Dahlberg's perturbation theorem for non-divergence form operators L = A\nabla^2. If L_0 and L_1 are two operators on a Lipschitz domain such that the L^p Dirichlet problem for the operator L_0 is solvable for some p in (1,\infty) and the coefficients of the two operators are sufficiently close in the sense of Carleson measure, then the L^p Dirichlet problem for the operator L_1 is solvable for the same p. This is an improvement of the A_{\infty} version of this result proved by Rios in "The L^p Diriclet problem and nondivergence harmonic measure" (Trans. AMS 355, 2 (2003)). As a consequence we also improve a result from Dindos, Petermichl and Pipher, "The L^p Dirichlet problem for second order elliptic operators and a p-adapted square function" (J. Fun. Anal. 249 (2007)) for the L^p solvability of non-divergence form operators by substantially weakening the condition required on the coefficients of the operator. The improved condition is exactly the same one as is required for divergence form operators L = div A\nabla.

We prove the subconvex bound $$ L(1/2,f\otimes \chi)\ll \mathfrak{q}^{1/2-1/12+\varepsilon}, $$ where the implicit constant depends only on the archimedean parameter of $f$ and $\varepsilon$. The main input is a modifying trivial delta method developed in [1].

By establishing an equivalent integral equation, we give a lower bound of the Kelvin transformation . Abstract:Let $\Omega$ be a strictly pseudoconvex domain in $\mathbb{C}^n$ with $C^{k+2}$ boundary, $k \geq 1$. We construct a $\overline\partial$ solution operator (depending on $k$) that gains $\frac12$ derivative in the Sobolev space $H^{s,p} (\Omega)$ for any $1<p<\infty$ and $s>\frac{1}{p} -k$. If the domain is $C^{\infty}$, then there exists a $\overline\partial$ solution operator that gains $\frac12$ derivative in $H^{s,p}(\Omega)$ for all $s \in \mathbb{R}$. We obtain our solution operators via the method of homotopy formula. A novel technique is the construction of ``anti-derivative operators'' for distributions defined on bounded Lipschitz domains.

Abstract:We give a new proof of Kollár’s conjecture on the derived pushforward of the dualizing sheaf twisted by a variation of Hodge structure. This conjecture has been settled by M. Saito via the theory of mixed Hodge modules and has various applications in the investigation of Albanese maps. Our technique is L^2 theoretic which gives concrete constructions and proofs to the conjecture. The L^2 point of view allows us to generalize Kollár’s conjecture to the context of non-abelian Hodge theory.
