Abstract:We provide an arithmetic condition weaker then the Bryuno condition for which it is possible to apply a KAM scheme in dimension greater then one. The KAM scheme will be provided in the setting of linearization of analytic diffeomorphisms of the torus that are close to a rotation.

Abstract:In this paper, we give a lower bound of Bergman kernels for a sequence of almost Kähler-Einstein Fano manifolds, or more general, a sequence of Fano manifolds with almost Kähler-Ricci solitons. This generalizes a result by Donaldson-Sun, Tian for Kähler-Einstein manifolds sequence with positive scalar curvature. As an application of our result, we prove that the Gromov-Hausdorff limit of sequence is homomorphic to a log terminal Q-Fano variety which admits a Kähler-Ricci soliton on its smooth part.
Towards sharp regularity: Full dimensional tori in $ C^\infty $ vector fields over $ \mathbb{T}^\infty $

Abstract:We consider linearization of perturbed vector field $ \omega+P $ over infinite dimensional torus $ \mathbb{T}^\infty $ and give sharp regularity requirement for perturbation $ P $ under which there is a nearly identical transformation conjugating the unperturbed one $ \omega $ onto $ \omega-\tilde{\omega}+P $ via a small modifying term $ \tilde{\omega} $. Besides discussing the Diophantine type introduced by Bourgain [11], we also investigate the universal nonresonance and provide weakest regularity of perturbations known so far for which KAM applies. Lower than analyticity, our results allow Gevrey or even only $ C^\infty $, and the new KAM scheme with a balancing sequence to overcome non-polynomial nonresonance is shown to be non-Newtonian that differs from the usual ones. Thereby, except deriving sharp Gevrey exponent along Diophantine nonresonance, we answer the fundamental question of what is the minimum regularity required for KAM in infinite dimensional case. Additionally, our linearization could also be employed to deal with quasi periodic case over $ \mathbb{T}^n $.

Abstract:In this paper we reformulate a formal KAM theorem for Hamiltonian systems with parameters under Bruno-Rüssmann condition. The proof is based on KAM iteration and the key is to adjust the parameters for small divisors after KAM iteration instead of in each KAM step. By this formal KAM theorem we can follow some well known KAM-type results for hyperbolic tori. Moreover, it can also be applied to the persistence of invariant tori with prescribed frequencies.

By focusing on methods in circle dynamics and linearization theorems, we give a sufficient condition to obtain a normal form as a geometrical analogue of Arnol'd's linearization theorem.

Abstract:We consider a linearization problem for Nijenhuis operators in dimension two around a point of scalar type in analytic category. The problem was almost completely solved in [8]. One case, however, namely the case of left-symmetric algebra , proved to be difficult. Here we solve it and, thus, complete the solution of the linearization problem for Nijenhuis operators in dimension two. The problem turns out to be related to classical results on the linearization of vector fields and their monodromy mappings.

Abstract:In this paper, we classify smooth, contractible affine varieties equipped with faithful torus actions of complexity two, having a unique fixed point and a two-dimensional algebraic quotient isomorphic to a toric blow-up of a toric surface. These varieties are of particular interest as they represent the simplest candidates for potential counterexamples to the linearization conjecture in affine geometry.

Abstract:If a real-analytic flow on the multidimensional torus close enough to linear has a unique rotation vector which satisfies an arithmetical condition Y, then it is analytically conjugate to linear. We show this by proving that the orbit under renormalization of a constant Y vector field attracts all nearby orbits with the same rotation vector.

Abstract:In this paper we present an a-posteriori KAM theorem for the existence of an (n−d) -parameter family of d -dimensional isotropic invariant tori with Diophantine frequency vector ω∈Rd , of type (γ,τ) , for n degrees of freedom Hamiltonian systems with (n−d) independent first integrals in involution. If the first integrals induce a Hamiltonian action of the (n−d) -dimensional torus, then we can produce n -dimensional Lagrangian tori with frequency vector of the form (ω,ωp) , with ωp∈Rn−d . In the light of the parameterization method, we design a (modified) quasi-Newton method for the invariance equation of the parameterization of the torus, whose proof of convergence from an initial approximation, and under appropriate non-degeneracy conditions, is the object of this paper. We present the results in the analytic category, so the initial torus is real-analytic in a certain complex strip of width ρ , and the corresponding error in the functional equation is ɛ . We heavily use geometric properties and the so called automatic reducibility to deal directly with the functional equation and get convergence if γ−2ρ−2τ−1ɛ is small enough, in contrast with most of KAM results based on the parameterization method, that get convergence if γ−4ρ−4τɛ is small enough. The approach is suitable to perform computer assisted proofs.

Abstract:We give a sufficient condition for the existence of a holomorphic tubular neighborhood of a compact Riemann surface holomorphically embedded in a non-singular complex surface. Our sufficient condition is described by an arithmetical condition of unitary flat line bundles which can be regarded as an analogue of the Brjuno condition for irrational numbers which appears in the theory of 1-variable complex dynamics.

Abstract:The strata of the moduli spaces of Abelian differentials are non-homogenous spaces carrying natural bi-algebraic structures. Partly inspired by the case of homogenous spaces carrying bi-algebraic structures (such as torii, Abelian varieties and Shimura varieties), Klingler and Lerer recently showed that any bi-algebraic curve in a stratum of the moduli space of Abelian differentials is linear provided that the so-called condition $(\star)$ is fulfilled. In this note, we construct a non-linear bi-algebraic curve, resp. surface, of Abelian differentials of genus $7$, resp. $10$.

Abstract:The existence of lower dimensional KAM tori is shown for a class of nearly integrable Hamiltonian systems where the second Melnikov's conditions are relaxed, at the cost of the stronger regularity of the perturbed nonlinear term. As a consequence, it is proved that there exist many linearly stable invariant tori and thus quasi-periodic solutions for nonlinear wave equations of non-local nonlinearity and of higher spatial dimension.

Abstract:We prove that a generic element of the Anosov-Katok class of the torus, $\overline{\mathcal{O}}^{\infty}(\mathbb{T}^2)$, acts parabolically and non-properly on the fine curve graph $C^{\dagger}(\mathbb{T}^2)$. Additionally, we show that a generic element of $\overline{\mathcal{O}}^{\infty}(\mathbb{T}^2)$ admits generalized rotation sets of any point-symmetric compact convex homothety type in the plane.

Abstract:Invariant manifolds are of fundamental importance to the qualitative understanding of dynamical systems. In this work, we explore and extend MacKay's converse Kolmogorov-Arnol'd-Moser condition to obtain a sufficient condition for the nonexistence of invariant surfaces that are transverse to a chosen 1D foliation. We show how useful foliations can be constructed from approximate integrals of the system. This theory is implemented numerically for two models: a particle in a two-wave potential and a Beltrami flow studied by Zaslavsky (Q-flows). These are both 3D volume-preserving flows, and they exemplify the dynamics seen in time-dependent Hamiltonian systems and incompressible fluids, respectively. Through both numerical and theoretical considerations, it is revealed how to choose foliations that capture the nonexistence of invariant tori with varying homologies.

Abstract:We study regularity of a conjugacy between a hyperbolic or partially hyperbolic toral automorphism $L$ and a $C^\infty$ diffeomorphism $f$ of the torus. For a very weakly irreducible hyperbolic automorphism $L$ we show that any $C^1$ conjugacy is $C^\infty$. For a very weakly irreducible ergodic partially hyperbolic automorphism $L$ we show that any $C^{1+\text{Hölder}}$ conjugacy is $C^\infty$. As a corollary, we improve regularity of the conjugacy to $C^\infty$ in prior local and global rigidity results.

Abstract:In this article we develop a new approach to the problem of the stability of locally conformally Kähler structures (l.c.k structures) under small deformations of complex structures and deformations of flat line bundles. We show that under the certain cohomological condition the stability of l.c.k structures does hold. We apply our approach to Hopf manifolds and its generalizations to obtain the stability of l.c.k structures which do not have potential in general. We give an explicit description of the cohomological obstructions of the stability of l.c.k structures on Inoue surfaces with $b_2=0$.

Abstract:Let M be a compact boundaryless Riemannian manifold. We derive the equations on M which characterize asymptotic vectors on Diff(vol)(M) . We classify those M's whose volume-preserving diffeomorphism groups admit asymptotic vectors which are represented by harmonic vector fields on M.
