Abstract:We classify the Harish-Chandra modules over the higher rank Virasoro and super-Virasoro algebras: It is proved that a Harish-Chandra module, i.e., an irreducible weight module with finite weight multiplicities, over a higher rank Virasoro or super-Virasoro algebra is either a module of the intermediate series, or a finitely-dense module. As an application, it is also proved that an indecomposable weight module with finite weight multiplicities over a generalized Witt algebra is either a uniformly bounded module (i.e., a module with weight multiplicities uniformly bounded) with all nonzero weights having the same multiplicity, or a finitely-dense module, as long as the generalized Witt algebra satisfies one minor condition.

We prove that a nonzero level Harish-Chandra module of the Virasoro-like algebra is a generalized highest weight (GHW for short) module. Abstract:In this paper, we constructed a new family of Virasoro modules Ω(λ,α,h) parameterized by complex numbers λ≠0, α∈C and a polynomial h(t). They are a special type of modules on which the non-central Cartan part acts freely of infinite rank. These modules are natural generalizations of the modules Ω(λ,α) defined and studied in [5], [11] and [19]. We determine the sufficient and necessary conditions for them to be irreducible. When they are reducible, we also determine all their maximal submodules and corresponding simple quotients explicitly. For some special cases, we can determine all submodules.

A Harish-Chandra module is defined as an irreducible weight module with finite dimensional weight spaces. In this paper, we prove that a Harish-Chandra module of the Lie algebra $widetilde{L}$ is a uniformly bounded module or a generalized highest weight (GHW for short) module. Furthermore, we prove that the nonzero level Harish-Chandra modules of $widetilde{L}$ are GHW modules. Finally, we classify all the GHW Harish-Chandra modules of $widetilde{L}$.
Classification of irreducible Harish-Chandra modules over full toroidal Lie algebras and higher-dimensional Virasoro algebras

Abstract:In this paper, we completely classify the irreducible Harish-Chandra modules over the full toroidal Lie algebra, which is a natural higher-dimensional analogue of the affine-Virasoro algebra. As a by-product, we also obtain the classification of all possible irreducible Harish-Chandra modules over the higher-dimensional Virasoro algebra, which was introduced by Rao--Moody [Comm. Math. Phys. 1994] These directly generalize the well-known result of O. Mathieu [Invent. Math. 1992] for the classical Virasoro algebra and also the recent work of Billig-Futorny [J. Reine Angew. Math. 2016] for the higher rank Witt algebra. In particular, we show that any irreducible Harish-Chandra module over the higher-dimensional Virasoro algebra turns out to be either a quotient of a module of tensor fields on a torus or a highest weight type module up to a twist of an automorphism, as conjectured by Eswara Rao in 2004.

Abstract:We construct a large class of simple modules for the Heisenberg–Virasoro algebra. These modules are determined by the simple modules over the finite-dimensional quotient algebras of certain natural subalgebras. The known simple modules such as the highest weight modules and Whittaker modules are included. In particular, we recover one of the main results of Billig (2003) in [3] and reobtain the simplicity of the Verma modules in a special case of Arbarello et al. (1988) in [1]. We also characterize a large subclass of these modules as simple modules with locally finite actions of elements in certain positive part.

Secondly, a non-trivial Hopf structure related to the two-parameter deformed Virasoro algebra is presented, that is, we construct a new two-parameter quantum group.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a new family of functors from the category of modules for the Weyl algebra to the category of modules for the super-Virasoro algebras. The properties of these functors are investigated, with an emphasis on irreducibility preservation and natural isomorphisms. By utilizing these functors, we recover some old irreducible super-Virasoro modules, including those from the irreducible intermediate series as well as irreducible U(h)-free modules. Additionally, we provide several families of new irreducible super-Virasoro modules via our constructed functors.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to construct a one dimensional universal central extension of the solenoidal Lie algebra W(n)μ introduced by Y. Billig and V. Futorny. The obtained Lie algebra is higher rank Virasoro algebra denoted by Vir(n)μ . Moreover, we study Vir(n)μ -Harich-Chandra modules. We obtain two kinds of Harich-Chandra modules, the intermediate series modules and generalized weight modules. Furthermore, we use the triangular decomposition of Vir(n)μ given by lexicographic order on Zn to construct new weight modules having infinite dimensional weight spaces.
