Abstract:It is proved that uniformly bounded simple modules over higher rank super-Virasoro algebras are modules of the intermediate series, and that simple modules with finite dimensional weight spaces are either modules of the intermediate series or generalized highest weight modules.

Abstract:We show that the support of a simple weight module over the Virasoro algebra, which has an infinite-dimensional weight space, coincides with the weight lattice and that all non-trivial weight spaces of such module are infinite-dimensional. As a corollary we obtain that every simple weight module over the Virasoro algebra, having a non-trivial finite-dimensional weight space, is a Harish-Chandra module (and hence is either a simple highest or lowest weight module or a simple module from the intermediate series). This implies positive answers to two conjectures about simple pointed and simple mixed modules over the Virasoro algebra.

Abstract:In this paper, we classify simple smooth modules over the mirror Heisenberg–Virasoro algebra , and simple smooth modules over the twisted Heisenberg–Virasoro algebra with non-zero level. To this end we generalize Sugawara operators to smooth modules over the Heisenberg algebra, and develop new techniques. As applications, we characterize simple Whittaker modules and simple highest weight modules over . A vertex-algebraic interpretation of our result is the classification of simple weak twisted and untwisted modules over the Heisenberg–Virasoro vertex algebras. We also present a few examples of simple smooth -modules and -modules induced from simple modules over finite dimensional solvable Lie algebras, that are not tensor product modules of Virasoro modules and Heisenberg modules. This is very different from the case of simple highest weight modules over and which are always tensor products of simple Virasoro modules and simple Heisenberg modules.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to construct a one dimensional universal central extension of the solenoidal Lie algebra W(n)μ introduced by Y. Billig and V. Futorny. The obtained Lie algebra is higher rank Virasoro algebra denoted by Vir(n)μ . Moreover, we study Vir(n)μ -Harich-Chandra modules. We obtain two kinds of Harich-Chandra modules, the intermediate series modules and generalized weight modules. Furthermore, we use the triangular decomposition of Vir(n)μ given by lexicographic order on Zn to construct new weight modules having infinite dimensional weight spaces.

Abstract:We construct a family of non-weight modules which are free -modules of rank 2 over the N = 1 super Schrödinger algebra in (1+1)-dimensional spacetime. We determine the isomorphism classes of these modules. In particular, free -modules of rank 2 over are also constructed and classified. Moreover, we obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for such modules to be simple.

Abstract:Simple smooth modules over the Virasoro algebra and one of the super-Virasoro algebra named the Neveu-Schwarz algebra were classified. This problem remained unsolved for the other super-Virasoro algebra called the Ramond algebra. In this paper, all simple smooth modules over the Ramond algebra are classified. More precisely, a simple smooth module over the Ramond algebra is either a simple highest weight module or isomorphic to an induced module from a simple module over a finite dimensional solvable Lie superalgebra. As an application we obtain all simple weak $\psi$-twisted modules over some veterx operator superalgebras.

Abstract:In the present paper, using the technique of localization, we determine the center of the quantum Schr\"{o}dinger algebra $\S_q$ and classify simple modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces over $\S_q$, when $q$ is not a root of unity. It turns out that there are four classes of such modules: dense $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$-modules, highest weight modules, lowest weight modules, and twisted modules of highest weight modules.

Abstract:In this paper, we classify all simple Harish-Chandra modules over the super affine-Virasoro algebra $\widehat{\mathcal{L}}=\mathcal{W}\ltimes(\mathfrak{g}\otimes \mathcal{A})\oplus \mathbb{C}C$, where $\mathcal{A}=\mathbb{C}[t^{\pm 1}]\otimes\Lambda(1)$ is the tensor superalgebra of the Laurent polynomial algebra in even variable $t$ and the Grassmann algebra in odd variable $\xi$, $\mathcal{W}$ is the Lie superalgebra of superderivations of $\mathcal{A}$, and $\mathfrak{g}$ is a finite-dimensional perfect Lie superalgebra.

Abstract:In this paper, we classify simple smooth modules over the superconformal current algebra $\frak g$. More precisely, we first classify simple smooth modules over the Heisenberg-Clifford algebra, and then prove that any simple smooth $\frak g$-module is a tensor product of such modules for the super Virasoro algebra and the Heisenberg-Clifford algebra, or an induced module from a simple module over some finite-dimensional solvable Lie superalgebras. As a byproduct, we provide characterizations for both simple highest weight $\frak g$-modules and simple Whittaker $\frak g$-modules. Additionally, we present several examples of simple smooth $\frak g$-modules that are not tensor product of modules over the super Virasoro algebra and the Heisenberg-Clifford algebra.

Abstract:This paper is about the highest weight module theory for affine superalgebra of and loop superalgebra . Among the main results, we obtain (i) a necessary and sufficient condition for Verma type -highest weight -modules to be irreducible; (ii) a free field(-like) realization of all irreducible -highest weight -modules; (iii) a character formula for all irreducible -highest weight -modules with finite dimensional weight spaces. We also obtain three similar results for highest weight -modules.

Abstract:We classify simple weight modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces over the (centrally extended complex) Schrödinger algebra in (1+1)-dimensional space–time. Our arguments use the description of lowest weight modules by Dobrev, Doebner and Mrugalla; Mathieuʼs twisting functors and results of Wu and Zhu on dimensions of weight spaces in dense modules.

Abstract:In this paper, we show Kazhdan-Lusztig categories, that is, the categories of lower bounded generalized weight modules for certain affine vertex operator superalgebras that are locally finite modules of the underlying finite dimensional Lie superalgebra, are semisimple. Those are all representation categories of affine vertex operator superalgebras at conformal but non admissible levels. As a consequence, the categories of finite length generalized modules for these affine vertex operator superalgebras have braided tensor category structures.

Abstract:International Journal of Mathematics, Ahead of Print. The Schrödinger–Virasoro algebra was originally introduced during the process of investigating the free Schrödinger equations. In order to investigate vertex representations of the Schrödinger–Virasoro algebra, Unterberger introduced a new infinite-dimensional Lie algebra [math] called the extended Schrödinger–Virasoro algebra in the context of two-dimensional conformal field theory and statistical physics. In this paper, we study simple smooth modules over [math], which can be viewed as an extension of the Schrödinger–Virasoro algebra by a conformal current with conformal weight 1. More specifically, these modules are determined by simple modules over finite-dimensional solvable Lie algebras. Moreover, we present several equivalent descriptions for simple smooth modules over [math].

Abstract:In this paper, we construct, investigate and, in some cases, classify several new classes of (simple) modules over the Takiff sl2. More precisely, we first explicitly construct and classify, up to isomorphism, all modules over the Takiff sl2 that are Uh̄-free of rank one, where h̄ is a natural Cartan subalgebra of the Takiff sl2. These split into three general families of modules. The sufficient and necessary conditions for simplicity of these modules are presented, and their isomorphism classes are determined. Using the vector space duality and Mathieu’s twisting functors, these three classes of modules are used to construct new families of weight modules over the Takiff sl2. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for these weight modules to be simple and, in some cases, completely determine their submodule structure.

Abstract:Let $L_{\widehat{osp(1|2)}}(\mathcal{l},0)$ be the simple affine vertex operator superalgebra with admissible level $\mathcal{l}$. We prove that the category of weak $L_{\widehat{osp(1|2)}}(\mathcal{l},0)$-modules on which the positive part of $\widehat{osp(1|2)}$ acts locally nilpotent is semisimple. Then we prove that $\mathbb{Q}$-graded vertex operator superalgebras $(L_{\widehat{osp(1|2)}}(\mathcal{l},0),\omega_\xi)$ with new Virasoro elements $\omega_\xi$ are rational and the irreducible modules are exactly the admissible modules for $\widehat{osp(1|2)}$, where $0<\xi<1$ is a rational number. Furthermore, we determine the Zhu's algebras $A(L_{\widehat{osp(1|2)}}(\mathcal{l},0))$ and their bimodules $A(L(\mathcal{l},\mathcal{j}))$ for $(L_{\widehat{osp(1|2)}}(\mathcal{l},0),\omega_\xi)$, where $\mathcal{j}$ is the admissible weight. As an application, we calculate the fusion rules among the irreducible ordinary modules of $(L_{\widehat{osp(1|2)}}(\mathcal{l},0),\omega_\xi)$.

Abstract:In this paper, we generalize a result by Berman and Billig on weight modules over Lie algebras with polynomial multiplication. More precisely, we show that a highest weight module with an exp-polynomial ``highest weight'' has finite dimensional weight spaces. We also get a class of irreducible weight modules with finite dimensional weight spaces over generalized Virasoro algebras which do not occur over the classical Virasoro algebra.
