Abstract:By applying Slater's transformation formulas for the bilateral basic hypergeometric series ${}_2\psi_{2}$, we derive three type translation formulas for the generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function (``continuous $q$-Hermite function'') which was introduced by Shibukawa--Tsuchimi (SIGMA, 2023). From some Bailey's transformation formula of ${}_2\psi_{2}$, we also give a formula for the expression of the generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function by some very-well-poised bilateral basic hypergeometric series ${}_4\psi_{8}$. As an application of this new expression formula for the generalized Zwegers' $\mu$-function, we obtain some new Fourier expansions for the Weierstrass and Jacobi elliptic functions.

Abstract:An Ito formula is developed in a context consistent with the development of abstract existence and unique- ness theorems for nonlinear stochastic partial differential equations, which are singular or degenerate. This is a generalization of an earlier Ito formula for Gelfand triples. After this, an existence theorem is presented for some singular and degenerate stochastic equations followed by a few examples.

Abstract:We shall make use of the method of partial fractions to generalize some of Ramanujan's infinite series identities, including Ramanujan's famous formula for $\zeta(2n+1)$, and we shall also give a generalization of the transformation formula for the logarithm of the Dedekind eta function. It is shown here that the method of partial fractions can be used to obtain many similar identities of this kind.

Abstract:The main objective of this investigation is to derive a generalization of Kummer's formula:F-2(1)[(1/2(a+b+1);) (a,b;) 1/2(1+z)]= Gamma(1/2)Gamma (1/2a + 1/2b + 1/2)/Gamma(1/2a + 1/2) Gamma (1/2b +1/2) F-2(1) [1/2a, 1/2b; 1/2; z(2)]+ 2 Gamma (1/2)Gamma (1/2a + 1/2b + 1/2)/Gamma(1/2a) Gamma (1/2b) F-2(1) [1/2a + 1/2, 1/2b +1/2; 3/2; z(2)] (vertical bar z vertical bar < 1),which was proved independently by Ramanujan. The results presented here are obtained with the help of a known generalization of one of Kummer's summation theorems for F-2(1) (1/2), which was given recently by Lavoie et al. [14]. Several interesting identities closely related to Ramanujan's formula follow as special cases of our main results.

Abstract:Let $z=(z_1, z_2, ..., z_n)$ be noncommutative free variables and $t$ a formal parameter which commutes with $z$. Let $k$ be any unital integral domain of any characteristic and $F_t(z)=z-H_t(z)$ with $H_t(z)\in {k[[t]]< < z >>}^{\times n}$ and the order $o(H_t(z))\geq 2$. Note that $F_t(z)$ can be viewed as a deformation of the formal map $F(z):=z-H_{t=1}(z)$ when it makes sense (for example, when $H_t(z)\in {k[t]< < z >>}^{\times n}$). The inverse map $G_t(z)$ of $F_t(z)$ can always be written as $G_t(z)=z+M_t(z)$ with $M_t(z)\in {k[[t]]< < z >>}^{\times n}$ and $o(M_t(z))\geq 2$. In this paper, we first derive the PDE's satisfied by $M_t(z)$ and $u(F_t), u(G_t)\in {k[[t]]< < z >>}$ with $u(z)\in {k< < z >>}$ in the general case as well as in the special case when $H_t(z)=tH(z)$ for some $H(z)\in {k< < z >>}^{\times n}$. We also show that the formal power series above are actually characterized by certain Cauchy problems of these PDE's. Secondly, we apply the derived PDE's to prove a recurrent inversion formula for formal maps in noncommutative variables. Finally, for the case char. $k=0$, we derive an expansion inversion formula by the planar binary rooted trees.

Abstract:We present a novel proof, using group theory, for a Meijer transform formula. This proof reveals the formula as a specific case of a broader generalized result. The generalization is achieved through a linear operator that intertwines two representations of the connected component of the identity of the group SO(2,2). Using this same approach, we derive a formula for the sum of three double integral transforms, where the kernels are represented by Bessel functions. It is particularly noteworthy that the group SO(2,2) is connected to symmetry in several significant ways, especially in mathematical physics and geometry.

Abstract:The main object of this article is to introduce and investigate the various properties of a new integral transform whose kernel involves the λ -extended Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function: Φ _λ _1, ⋯ , λ _p; μ _1, … , μ _q^(ρ _1, … , ρ _p, σ _1, … , σ _q)(z, s, a; b,λ ), which was defined recently by Srivastava [ 18 ]. This general integral transform yields, as its special cases, a number of (new or known) integral transforms. We evaluate the Mellin transform of the λ -extended Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function and derive an inversion formula for the general integral transform. We also present some other basic properties of the general integral transform and prove a uniqueness theorem for it. Finally, we obtain the general integral transforms of the derivatives and integrals of admissible functions.

Abstract:Jacobi's theta relations among quartic products of theta functions are generalized to those of arbitrary $n$ products. Igusa's procedure of derivation is extended to prove such general theta relations, from which we obtain general addition formulas and theta constants identities. To complete the proof, the concept of {\it cycle number $\lambda$} is essential. The case of $n=3$ is discussed and examined explicitly.

Abstract:B.C. Berndt evaluated special values of the cotangent Dirichlet series. T. Arakawa studied a generalization of the series, or generalized cotangent Dirichlet series, and gave its transformation formulae. In this paper, we establish an elliptic analogue of the generalized cotangent Dirichlet series and give its transformation formulae at some integer arguments. As a corollary, we obtain the transformation formulae of the generalized cotangent Dirichlet series at some integer arguments which are the part of Arakawa's transformation formulae. Those transformation formulae give the special values of the cotangent Dirichlet series evaluated by B.C. Berndt.
