Clinical Characteristics Without Relation To The Radiographic Finding In The Mandible: A Case Report.

Abstract:A 40-year-old female patient was referred with a complaint of painful symptoms in the face for approximately three months. During the physical examination, reports discomfort in the left cheek region with episodes of pain, and denies comorbidity. She also reports that in a previous consultation, imaging tests were requested, and a lesion was observed in the body of the mandible. In intra and extraoral examination, no alterations were observed. The imaging exams show a hyperdense, compact area, partially delimited in medullary bone space, without cortical expansion, and in close contact with the left mental foramen and ipsilateral inferior alveolar nerve canal.
