Abstract:A 59-year-old white male complaining of recurrent pain in the anterior maxillary region sought dental care. He reported a history of dental trauma to the upper central incisors, which were endodontically treated 30 years ago. Clinical examination revealed a fistula, and imaging exhibited a 2.0x2.5 cm radiolucent cystic lesion. Differential diagnoses included periapical cyst, lateral root cyst, and nasopalatine duct cyst. An excisional biopsy was performed, and although the macroscopic appearance resembled a cyst, histopathological analysis indicated intraosseous squamous cell carcinoma.
