Abstract:A 48-year-old female patient presented with a painless intraosseous lesion affecting the periapex of the maxillary right first molar. Intraoral examination revealed a mild swelling in the right buccal region. Tomographic images revealed a well-defined, unilocular hypodense lesion measuring 13x12x11 mm. The pulp sensibility test of the affected tooth was negative, indicating an inflammatory periapical lesion. An excisional biopsy was performed, and the histopathological analysis revealed a benign, non-encapsulated, solid lesion comprising cords and small sheets of odontogenic epithelium interspersed with nests of clear cells and amyloid-like material deposition.
