Abstract:In the arena of obstetric prognostication, the quest to pinpoint embryonic or fetal destinies—particularly the potential for non-viability—has led to exhaustive investigations encompassing both serological and sonographic domains .[ 1 ] Serologic indicators, while contributory post-event in the realm of pregnancy loss, lack specificity and prognostic utility in preemptive diagnostics. Conversely, transvaginal sonography emerges as a formidable modality, offering superior image resolution, limited observer variability, and consistent reproducibility. This imaging technique is indispensable for confirming intrauterine gestation and tracking embryonic development .[ 2 ]
