Abstract:Let k be a positive integer and p be a prime.We give some congruences involving the binomial coefficients((k+1)p-a)p-a),(kp-1p-a) with 1 ≤ a ≤ p-1 and （kp+p-1/2b±p-1/2±b),(kp-1p-1/2±b) with 0 ≤ b ≤ p-1/2.In particular,we get a generalization of Morley's congruence.Meanwhile,some congruences about the summation of ((k+1)p-ap-a) are obtained.

Abstract:Dumortier and Roussarie proposed a conjecture in their paper (2009, Discrete Con. Dyn. Sys., 2,723-781): For any \begin{document}$ q\in {\mathbb{N}} $\end{document} , the Abelian integrals \begin{document}$ J_{2j+1}(h) = \int_{\gamma_h}x^{2j-1}\,\mathrm dy $\end{document} , \begin{document}$ j = 0, 1, 2, \cdots, q $\end{document} , form a strict Chebyshev system on intervals \begin{document}$ h\in (0, \frac{1}{2}] $\end{document} , where \begin{document}$ \gamma_h = \{(x, y)| \mathrm e^{-2y}(y+\frac{1}{2}-x^2) = h\} $\end{document} . If this conjecture holds, then they obtain the precise upper bound of the number of limit cycles that appear near a slow-fast Hopf point of any codimension. In the present paper we develop a method to estimate the number of zeros of Abelian integrals and prove this conjecture.

Abstract:A generalization of the Chu-Vandermonde convolution is presented and proved with the integral representation method. This identity can be transformed into another identity, which has as special cases two known identities. Another identity that is closely related to this identity is presented and proved. Using the modified geometric series from another paper, some closely related identities are listed. Some corresponding harmonic number identities are derived, which have as special cases some known harmonic number identities. For one combinatorial sum a recursion formula is derived and used to compute a few examples.

Abstract:Sun, in 2022, introduced a conjectured evaluation for a series of convergence rate $\frac{1}{2}$ involving harmonic numbers. We prove both this conjecture and a stronger version of this conjecture, using a summation technique based on a beta-type integral we had previously introduced. Our full proof also requires applications of Bailey's ${}_{2}F_{1}\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)$-formula, Dixon's ${}_{3}F_{2}(1)$-formula, an almost-poised version of Dixon's formula due to Chu, Watson's formula for ${}_{3}F_{2}(1)$-series, the Gauss summation theorem, Euler's formula for ${}_{2}F_{1}$-series, elliptic integral singular values, and lemniscate-like constants recently introduced by Campbell and Chu. The techniques involved in our proof are useful, more broadly, in the reduction of difficult sums of convergence rate $\frac{1}{2}$ to previously evaluable expressions.

We consider their divisibility properties and prove that they are divisible by [Formula: see text] for all integers [Formula: see text]. Abstract:Motivated essentially by the success of the applications of the discrete Mittag-Leffler functions (DMLF) in many areas of science and engineering, the authors present, in a unified manner, a detailed numerical implementation method of the Mittag-Leffler function. With the proposed method, the overflow problem can be well solved. To further improve the practicability, the state transition matrix described by discrete Mittag-Leffler functions are investigated. Some illustrative examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

Abstract:We consider the three finite free convolutions for polynomials studied in a recent paper by Marcus, Spielman, and Srivastava. Each can be described either by direct explicit formulae or in terms of operations on randomly rotated matrices. We present an alternate approach to the equivalence between these descriptions, based on combinatorial Weingarten methods for integration over the unitary and orthogonal groups. A key aspect of our approach is to identify a certain \emph{quadrature property}, which is satisfied by some important series of subgroups of the unitary groups (including the groups of unitary, orthogonal, and signed permutation matrices), and which yields the desired convolution formulae.
