Abstract:This paper does not claim to prove the Goldbach conjecture, but it does provide a new way of proof (LiKe sequence); And in detailed introduces the proof process of this method: by indirect transformation, Goldbach conjecture is transformed to prove that, for any odd prime sequence (3, 5, 7, …, Pn), there must have no LiKe sequence when the terms must be less than 3 × Pn. This method only studies prime numbers and corresponding composite numbers, replaced the relationship between even numbers and indeterminate prime numbers. In order to illustrate the importance of the idea of transforming the addition problem into the multiplication problem, we take the twin prime conjecture as an example and know there must exist twin primes in the interval [3 Pn, P 2 n]. This idea is very important for the study of Goldbach conjecture and twin prime conjecture. It’s worth further study.

Abstract:An approximate formula for the partitions of Goldbach's Conjecture is derived using Prime Number Theorem and a heuristic probabilistic approach. A strong form of Goldbach's conjecture follows in the form of a lower bounding function for the partitions of Goldbach's conjecture. Numerical computations suggest that the lower and upper bounding functions for the partitions satisfy a simple functional equation. Assuming that this invariant scaling property holds for all even integer $n$, the lower and upper bounds can be expressed as simple exponentials.

On Chen's theorem, Goldbach's conjecture and almost prime twins

Abstract:Let $N$ denote a sufficiently large even integer, we define $D_{1,2}(N)$ as the same as those in previous articles about Chen's theorem. In this paper, we show that $D_{1,2}(N) \geqslant 1.733 \frac{C(N) N}{(\log N)^2}$, improving previous record of Wu about $93\%$. We also get similar results on twin prime problem and additive representations of integers. An important step in the proof is the application of the theorems of Lichtman.

Abstract:The Goldbach conjecture, one of the oldest problems in mathematics, has fascinated and inspired many mathematicians for ages. In 1742 a German mathematician Christian Goldbach, in a letter addressed to Leonhard Euler proposed a conjecture. The modern day version of the Binary/Strong Goldbach conjecture asserts that: Every even integer greater than 2 can be written as the sum of two primes. The conjecture had been empirically verified up to 4× 10 18 , its proof however remains elusive, which seems to confirm that: Some problems in mathematics remain buried deep in the catacombs of slow progress ... mind stretching mysteries await to be discovered beyond the boundaries of former thought. Avery Carr (2013) The research was aimed at exposition, of the intricate structure of the fabric of the Goldbach Conjecture problem. The research methodogy explores a number of topics, before the definite proof of the Goldbach Conjecture can be presented. The Ternary Goldbach Conjecture Corollary follows the proof of the Binary Goldbach Conjecture as well as the Representation of even numbers by the difference of two primes Corollary. The research demonstrates that the Goldbach Conjecture is a genuine arithmetical question.

Abstract:It is shown that if every odd integer $n > 5$ is the sum of three primes, then every even integer $n > 2$ is the sum of two primes. A conditional proof of Goldbach's conjecture, based on Cramér's conjecture, is presented. Theoretical and experimental results available on Goldbach's conjecture allow that a less restrictive conjecture than Cramér's conjecture be used in the conditional proof. A basic result of the Maier's paper on Cramér's model is criticized.

Abstract:In this paper we use the former of the authors developed theory of \textbf{circles of partition} to investigate possibilities to prove the binary Goldbach as well as the Lemoine conjecture. We state the \textit{squeeze principle} and its consequences if the set of all odd prime numbers is the base set. With this tool we can prove asymptotic versions of the binary Goldbach as well as the Lemoine conjecture.
