Abstract:In this paper, we study Dirichlet problems of fractional Laplace (Poisson) equations on a general bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^n$. Green's functions and Poisson kernels are important tools needed in our study. We first establish the existence of Green's function by an application of Perron's method. After that, the Poisson kernel is constructed based on the Green's function. Several important properties of Green's functions and Poisson kernels are proved. Finally, we show that the solution of a fractional Laplace (Poisson) equation under a given condition must be unique and be given by our Green's function and Poisson kernel.

Abstract:We discuss a class of p-Laplacian-type fractional four-point boundary-value problems with a parameter. We use the Green's function, the Schauder fixed-point theorem and the Guo-Krasnoselskii fixed-point theorem on cones. Some examples are presented to show the validity of the conditions of our main theorem.

Abstract:We prove non-asymptotic rates of convergence in the $W^{s,2}(\mathbb R^d)$-norm for the solution of the fractional Dirichlet problem to the solution of the local Dirichlet problem as $s\uparrow 1$. For regular enough boundary values we get a rate of order $\sqrt{1-s}$, while for less regular data the rate is of order $\sqrt{(1-s)|\log(1-s)|}$. We also obtain results when the right hand side depends on $s$, and our error estimates are true for all $s\in(0,1)$. The proofs use variational arguments to deduce rates in the fractional Sobolev norm from energy estimates between the fractional and the standard Dirichlet energy.

Global fractional Sobolev regularity for fully nonlinear elliptic equations

Abstract:We investigate fractional regularity estimates up to the boundary for solutions to fully nonlinear elliptic equations with measurable ingredients. Specifically, under the assumption of uniform ellipticity of the operator, we demonstrate that viscosity solutions to a second-order operator satisfy a fractional Laplacian equation. This result implies that the solutions are globally of class $W^{\gamma, p}$, for $\gamma \in (1,2)$, with appropriate estimates. Consequently, these solutions exhibit differentiability of order strictly greater than one, without requiring any additional assumptions regarding the operator, such as convexity or concavity.

Abstract:For the fractional Laplace equation, a surprising observation is the non-uniqueness for the basic Dirichlet type problems. In this paper, a somewhat sharp uniqueness condition for the fractional Laplace equation is established. We derive the $L^p$-estimate for fractional Laplacian operators to better understand this phenomena. Several weighted fractional Sobolev spaces appear naturally. We then establish the embedding relations between these spaces. These existence-uniqueness conditions and the spaces we introduce here are intrinsically related to the fractional Laplacian. These are basic properties to the fractional Laplace equations and can be useful in the study of related problems.

Abstract:In this article, we consider the following Kirchhoff equation involving fractional Laplacian where are constants, $\frac{3}{4}<s<1,$ is the so-called Gagliardo (semi)norm of u , $4<p<2^*_{s}=\frac{6}{3-2s}$ and is an exterior domain with smooth boundary By establishing a global compactness lemma of the fractional Kirchhoff equation in exterior domains, we verify the compactness of Palais–Smale sequences corresponding to above problem at higher energy level interval. Then combining some crucial estimates and barycentric function, we determine the existence of positive bound state solutions provided that is contained in a small ball. Abstract:Higher Sobolev and Hölder regularity is studied for local weak solutions of the fractional $p$-Laplace equation of order $s$ in the case $p\ge 2$. Depending on the regime considered, i.e. $$0<s\le\tfrac{p-2}{p}\quad \text{or} \quad\tfrac{p-2}{p}<s<1,$$ precise local estimates are proven. The relevant estimates are stable if the fractional order $s$ reaches $1$; the known Sobolev regularity estimates for the local $p$-Laplace are recovered. The case $p=2$ reproduces the almost $W^{1+s,2}_{\rm loc}$-regularity for the fractional Laplace equation of any order $s\in(0,1)$.

The global existence of nonnegative solutions is obtained by combining the Galerkin approximations with the potential well theory. Then, by virtue of a differential inequality technique, we give a decay estimate of solutions.

Abstract:Using the concept of fractional derivatives of Riemann$-$Liouville on time scales, we first introduce right fractional Sobolev spaces and characterize them. Then, we prove the equivalence of some norms in the introduced spaces, and obtain their completeness, reflexivity, separability and some imbeddings. Finally, as an application, we propose a recent method to study the existence of weak solutions of fractional boundary value problems on time scales by using variational method and critical point theory, and by constructing an appropriate variational setting, we obtain two existence results of the problem.

Abstract:In this paper, we systematically study the pointwise regularity for distribution solutions of fractional equations. We obtain a series of interior pointwise Ck+[2s+α],2s+α−[2s+α] regularities when 2s+α is not an integer, Ck+2s+α,ln⁡L regularities and Ck+2s+α regularities when 2s+α is an integer for k≥0 under suitable conditions. These pointwise regularities seem to be more essential and characterize the solutions for fractional equations, and our proofs are more direct which can also provide optimal conditions for the above regularities. Furthermore, the classical regularity can be regarded as a consequence of pointwise regularity. The method we developed here can also be applied to many other equations, especially for the Poisson equations.

We take up in this article the existence and asymptotic behavior of a positive continuous solution for the following semi-linear fractional differential equation (??|D)?2 u = a(x)u?(x) in D\{0}, with the boundary Dirichlet conditions lim |x|?0 |x|n??u(x) = 0 and lim x??D ?(x)2??u(x) = 0, where (??|D)?/2 is the fractional Laplace associated to the subordinate killed Brownian motion process in D and ?(x) = dist ( x, ?D) denotes the Euclidean distance between x and ?D. The function a is a positive continuous function in D\{0}, which may be singular at x = 0 and/or at the boundary ?D satisfying some appropriate assumption related to Karamata class. More precisely, we shall prove the existence and global asymptotic behavior of a positive continuous solution on ?D\{0}. We will use some potential theory arguments and Karamata regular variation theory tools.

For a lattice graph, we prove the upper and lower estimates for the sum of the first $k$ Dirichlet eigenvalues of the fractional Laplacian, extending the classical results by Li-Yau and Kröger.

Abstract:We consider the fractional Schrodinger equation with a logarithmic nonlinearity, when the power of the Laplacian is between zero and one. We prove global existence results in three different functional spaces: the Sobolev space corresponding to the quadratic form domain of the fractional Laplacian, the energy space, and a space contained in the operator domain of the fractional Laplacian. For this last case, a finite momentum assumption is made, and the key step consists in estimating the Lie commutator between the fractional Laplacian and the multiplication by a monomial.

Abstract:We obtain Strichartz estimates for the fractional heat equations by using both the abstract Strichartz estimates of Keel-Tao and the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality. We also prove an endpoint homogeneous Strichartz estimate via replacing $ L^{\infty}_{x}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ by $BMO_{x}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ and a parabolic homogeneous Strichartz estimate. Meanwhile, we generalize the Strichartz estimates by replacing the Lebesgue spaces with either Besov spaces or Sobolev spaces. Moreover, we establish the Strichartz estimates for the fractional heat equations with a time dependent potential of an appropriate integrability. As an application, we prove the global existence and uniqueness of regular solutions in spatial variables for the generalized Navier-Stokes system with $L^{r}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ data.

Abstract:In this article, we deal with the fine boundary regularity, a weighted Hölder regularity of weak solutions to the problem involving the fractional $(p,q)$-Laplacian denoted by \begin{eqnarray*} \begin{array}{rll} (-\Delta)_{p}^{s} u + (-\Delta)_{q}^{s} u &= f(x) &\text{ in } \Omega u&=0 &\text{ in } \mathbb{R}^N\setminus\Omega; \end{array} \end{eqnarray*} where $\Omega$ is a $C^{1,1}$ bounded domain and $2 \leq p \leq q <\infty.$ For $0<s<1$ and for non-negative data $f\in L^{\infty}(\Omega),$ we employ the nonlocal analogue of the boundary Harnack method to establish that $u/{d_{\Omega}^{s}} \in C^{\alpha}(\Bar{\Omega})$ for some $\alpha \in (0,1),$ where $d_\Omega(x)$ is the distance of $x$ from the boundary. A novel barrier construction allows us to analyse the regularity theory even in the absence of the scaling or the homogeneity properties of the operator. Additionally, we extend our idea to sign changing bounded $f$ as well and prove a fine boundary regularity for fractional $(p,q)$ Laplacian for some range of $s.$
