Abstract:We study the rough bilinear fractional integral B̃_Ω ,α (f,g)(x) = ∫_ℝ^n f(x + y)g(x - y)Ω (x,y')/| y |^n - αdy , , where 0 < a < n , Ω is homogeneous of degree zero on the y variable and satisfies Ω ∈ L ∞ (ℝ n )× L s ( S n −1 ) for some s ⩾ 1, and S n −1 denotes the unit sphere of ℝ n . By assuming size conditions on Ω, we obtain several boundedness properties of B̃_Ω ,α (f,g) : B̃_Ω ,α :L^p_1 × L^p_2 → L^p , where 1/p = 1/p_1 + 1/p_2 α/n. Our result extends a main theorem of Y. Ding and C. Lin [Math. Nachr., 2002, 246–247: 47–52].

Abstract:In this paper, we use interpolation and iterative methods to study the fractional integral operator F-Omega,F-alpha with variable kernel. We obtain the sharp size condition on Omega to ensure the (L-q, L-P) boundedness of F-Omega,F-alpha for 0 < alpha < n, 1 < p < infinity. We also obtain some corresponding estimates of the rough bilinear fractional integral.

Abstract:We study the fractional integral on mixed-norm Lebesgue spaces. We give a necessary and a sufficient condition for the fractional integral to be bounded from $L^{\vec p}$ to $L^{\vec q}$, where $\vec p=(p_1, \ldots, p_m)$ and $\vec q=(q_1, \ldots, q_m)$. For the case of $m=2$, we give a complete characterization of indices $\vec p$ and $\vec q$ for which the fractional integral is bounded from $L^{\vec p}$ to $L^{\vec q}$.

Abstract:We establish the weighted estimates for the parametric Marcinkiewicz integral operators with rough kernels along “polynomial curves” on ℝ^n . As applications, we obtain that the above operators are bounded on the mixed radial-angular spaces, on the vector-valued mixed radial-angular spaces and on the vector-valued function spaces. Particularly, the above bounds are independent of the coefficients of the polynomials in the definition of the operators.

Abstract:In [C. E. Kenig and E. M. Stein, Multilinear estimates and fractional integration, Math. Res. Lett., 6(1):1-15, 1999], the following type of multilinear fractional integral [ int_{bbR^{mn}} frac{f_1(l_1(x_1,ldots,x_m,x))cdots f_{m+1}(l_{m+1}(x_1,ldots,x_m,x))}{(|x_1|+ldots+|x_m|)^{lambda}} dx_1ldots dx_m ] was studied, where $l_i$ are linear maps from $bbR^{(m+1)n}$ to $bbR^n$ satisfying certain conditions. They proved the boundedness of such multilinear fractional integral from $L^{p_1}times ldots times L^{p_{m+1}}$ to $L^q$ when the indices satisfy the homogeneous condition. In this paper, we show that for certain indices, a similar conclusion is true whenever $f_1otimes ldots otimes f_{m+1}$ is replaced by general functions in the Lebesgue space with mixed norms. That is, the multilinear operator can be extended to a linear operator. In particular, for $m=1$ or $n=1$, we get a complete characterization of $(l_1, ldots, l_{m+1})$, $vec p=(p_1,ldots, p_{m+1})$, $q$ and $lambda$ such that the operator is bounded from $L^{vec p}$ to $L^q$.

Abstract:In this article, we introduce a class of multilinear fractional integral operators with generalized kernels that are weaker than the Dini kernel condition. We establish the boundedness of multilinear fractional integral operators with generalized kernels on weighted Lebesgue spaces and variable exponent Lebesgue spaces, as well as the boundedness of multilinear commutators generated by multilinear fractional integral operators with generalized kernels and $BMO$ functions. Even when the generalized kernels condition goes back to the Dini kernel condition, the conclusions on the commutators remain new.

Abstract:Multilinear commutators and iterated commutators of multilinear fractional integral operators with BMO functions are studied. Both strong type and weak type endpoint weighted estimates involving the multiple weights for such operators are established and the weak type endpoint results are sharp in some senses. In particular, we extend the results given by Cruz-Uribe and Fiorenza in 2003 and 2007 to the multilinear setting. Moreover, we modify the weak type of endpoint weighted estimates and improve the strong type of weighted norm inequalities on the multilinear commutators given by Chen and Xue in 2010 and 2011.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the generalized left-side and right-side fractional integral operators with a certain modified ML kernel. We investigate the Chebyshev inequality via this general family of fractional integral operators. Moreover, we derive new results of this type of inequalities for finite products of functions. In addition, we establish an estimate for the Chebyshev functional by using the new fractional integral operators. From our above-mentioned results, we find similar inequalities for some specialized fractional integrals keeping some of the earlier results in view. Furthermore, two important results and some interesting consequences for convex functions in the framework of the defined class of generalized fractional integral operators are established. Finally, two basic examples demonstrated the significance of our results.

Abstract:The primary goal of this paper is to define Katugampola fractional integrals in multiplicative calculus. A novel method for generalizing the multiplicative fractional integrals is the Katugampola fractional integrals in multiplicative calculus. The multiplicative Hadamard fractional integrals are also novel findings of this research and may be derived from the special situations of Katugampola fractional integrals. These integrals generalize to multiplicative Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals and multiplicative Hadamard fractional integrals. Moreover, we use the Katugampola fractional integrals to prove certain new Hermite–Hadamard and trapezoidal-type inequalities for multiplicative convex functions. Additionally, it is demonstrated that several of the previously established inequalities are generalized from the newly derived inequalities. Finally, we give some computational analysis of the inequalities proved in this paper.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider spectral approximation of fractional dif- ferential equations (FDEs). A main ingredient of our approach is to define a new class of generalized Jacobi functions (GJFs), which is intrinsically related to fractional calculus and can serve as natural basis functions for properly de- signed spectral methods for FDEs. We establish spectral approximation results for these GJFs in weighted Sobolev spaces involving fractional derivatives. We construct efficient GJF-Petrov-Galerkin methods for a class of prototypical fractional initial value problems (FIVPs) and fractional boundary value prob- lems (FBVPs) of general order, and we show that with an appropriate choice of the parameters in GJFs, the resulting linear systems are sparse and well- conditioned. Moreover, we derive error estimates with convergence rates only depending on the smoothness of data, so true spectral accuracy can be attained if the data are smooth enough. The ideas and results presented in this paper will be useful in dealing with more general FDEs involving Riemann-Liouville or Caputo fractional derivatives.

Abstract:In this paper we consider a new kind of inequality related to fractional integration, motivated by Gressman's paper. Based on it we investigate its multilinear analogue inequalities. Combining with the Gressman's work on multilinear integral, we establish this new kind of geometric inequalities with bilinear form and multilinear form in more general settings. Moreover, in some cases we also find the best constants and optimisers for these geometric inequalities on Euclidean spaces with Lebesgue measure settings with $L^p$ bounds.
